Climate and weather in Marsalforn

The local climate is strongly influenced by the sea, with mild temperatures year-round and especially abundant sunshine, including in winter when the sun shines for an average of five or six hours a day. In short, it never gets cold in winter (average of 15°C), even if the weather can be a bit windy and rainy, as is often the case at the end of the year. In summer, sea breezes ease the heat, particularly in July and August, the hottest months, when temperatures can sometimes exceed 30°C.

The sea starts to become pleasant from April–May and remains so until nearly the second half of autumn. In winter, even though the Mediterranean is far from freezing, the rather cool northerly winds lower both air and water temperatures.
