Hi Isa,

Thanks for sharing such a great trip with us!

I agree with you on some of the downsides, especially the lack of an indoor pool. When the weather’s bad (especially on a transatlantic cruise), there’s nowhere to relax during the day. What a shame!

That said, Princess still offers great value for money.

Last month, there was a really good deal with Princess for 2026, but unfortunately, I’d already hit my limit.

Thanks again for sharing! !

Hi Isa, Thanks for this review and the beautiful photos that introduced me to this company I didn’t know about. It might be comparable to Celebrity... Mich74

Hi Catherine, CELEBRITY is still my benchmark for indoor pool quality! They’re unbeatable on that front. That said, we were still happy to enjoy this space with a nicely heated pool! In the Caribbean, they didn’t heat it, so we could never really use it!

A big thank you, Isabelle, for this great review. I sailed on the Royal and the Regal and also found that the value for money was excellent, even when booking a mini-suite, which is a larger balcony cabin.

I loved the atmosphere and the shows, especially the two Beatles performances, the Irish dances, and the bagpipe welcome in the Scottish ports 😎 I share your opinion on how often the troupes perform—they’re a bit minimal.

I was really disappointed by the quality of the buffets, but I see from your review that it’s improved, which Catherine had already mentioned.

Thanks again, Isa.

Thanks so much for your message! It makes me happy I didn’t get to see the Beatles show, but yes, the bagpipes when we left the ports were really nice 😉 As for the food, it must really depend on the ship and the chef on board!

Thanks so much, Alfred, for following along! You mentioned transatlantic cruises—I haven’t had the chance to experience one yet, but maybe next year... Is the weather really that bad? I was thinking of going in November. Thanks 😉

Thanks Michel for following along! Yeah, it’s the same category as CELEBRITY. The only thing is, CELEBRITY is a step above when it comes to the POOL side because PRINCESS doesn’t have an indoor pool :(

Hey Isa,

Well, a transatlantic cruise is a bit of a gamble. Either you get glassy seas the whole time or a proper storm for several days. For me, I love transatlantic cruises because sea days let you rest and relax... That’s why having an indoor pool is great for really making the most of those moments.

November’s perfect for a transatlantic to the Pacific Islands or the Caribbean. From what I remember, I’ve always had great weather at that time of year. You might get a day or two of bad weather, but no more than that.

If you need any info for your upcoming transatlantic, just ask—I’ve done quite a few across different destinations.

Thanks so much, Alfred! I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out if I have any questions. My goal is twofold: to do a transatlantic crossing and take the opportunity to disembark in Florida and visit my family for a few weeks ;)
