Moi, personnellement, j'ai visiter Kelowna et j'aime de beaucoup cette ville...mais, très anglo...et pas facile dans la Colombie Britanique de garder nos enfants à parler le FRANÇAIS...elle aussi a 2 enfants...ils comprennent le Français, mais, ils ne veulent pas le parler...loyer à peu près la même chose qu'à Montréal si, vous voulez bien vivre...Creston, est petite ville et bon pour le camping et la chasse...à ce que ma soeur vient tout juste de dire...

Salut je suis Beauceron aussi (St-Zacharie), j'ai voyagé dans toute la Colombie-Britannique du sud au nord... pour mon travail (planteur d'arbres). Je connais un peu Kelowna, mais surtout Kamloops qui est un peu plus à l'ouest... Pourquoi Kelowna exactement??? Quel genre de boulot voulez-vous faire? Je n'ai pas beaucoup de ressources pour vous aider en tant que famille, mais bon si vous avez des questions ne vous gênez pas!

Nous somme très content de vous ecrire, Nous habitont dans le rang fraser, près de St-Benjamin. Kelowna est trop grosse comme ville, ca nous attire moins maintenant, il y a Creston ou peut etre aussi Kamloops. Peut tu nous parler un peu plus du travail de planteur, mon chum est interesser pas ça. Parle nous aussi de Kamloops, c'est une ville qui a l'air quand même assez grosse, mais tres belle aussi.

Pour le planting et bien ce serait une situation presque impossible pour votre famille.... on doit vivre dans le milieu du bois.... donc c'est difficile d'apporter toute sa famille dans le milieu de la forêt.
C'est un métier qui est très exigeant physiquement, mais surtout mentalement.............. anyway vous pouvez me contacter à cette adresse et poser toutes les questions que vous voulez... ça me fera plaisir de répondre.... Moi et ma copine avons un petit garçon de 2 ans et attendons une petite fille pour le mois d'avril. Nous habitons présentement en Estrie (Sherbrooke) et planifions déménager à Nelson BC pour l'été 2005. Ayant vécu, pour ma part, pendant 8 ans au BC et 4 ans pour ma copine, les expériences innoubliables et les souvenirs heureux de l'Ouest Canadien nous ont fortements imprégrés🙂. Revenu au Québec en 1999 pour faire mes études universitaires et se rapprocher de nos familles, c'est avec certitude et conviction que nous décidons de déménager vivre à Nelson BC. Amant de la nature et du plein air, à la recherche d'une vie de communauté stimulante et enrichissante, Nelson répond parfaitrement à nos besoins.
Sachant que vous voulez vivre l'expérience pendant une année complète dans ce coin de pays extraordinaire, il serait peut-être intéressant de prendre contact. Nous pouvons, peut-être, se donner un coup de main sachant que nous vivons sensiblement le même processus et les mêmes questionnements.
Moi, je ne veux pas m'installes en Colombie-Britannique mais j'aimerais bien y passer l'été. On m'a dit que la cueillette de petits fruits est très payante dans le coin de la vallée de l'okanagan, d'autres m'ont dit que ce ne l'était pas dutout. Qui a raison? J'aimerais aussi savoir quand la cueillette commence. Je termine l'école au début mai et je voudrais partir le plus vite possible

Mon projet avance bien. On pars trois en voiture et on veut cueillir des fruits. Il parait que les meilleures places pour cueillir sont la vallée de l'okanagan et banff sur la frontière de l'Alberta. Ce qui me manque à savoir, c'est quand la cueillette commence

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
