Best route to get to Casablanca from Bayonne

Hi there, For the upcoming All Saints' holidays in 2025, I’m heading to Casablanca to join a friend who’ll be working there for a year. I’m based in Bayonne—what’s the most convenient flight option? Should I depart from Bordeaux or Bilbao?

Is it worth flying to Rabat first and then taking the train to Casablanca?

Thanks for your insights! Laurence from Bayonne

Hello,

It seems like all you need to do is search online to compare prices, schedules, and dates based on your departure and arrival airports, as well as the flight services you're looking for (we can't do that for you...). Arriving in Rabat and taking the train to Casa: yes, that's possible (depending on your arrival time and train schedules). Anyway, from Casa Airport to downtown Casa, you’ll also need to take the train for about an hour.

Since this is for November, it feels a bit early to be doing your research. It might be smarter to wait until at least June or July to look into it.

First of all, thanks for your reply! Of course, I’ll check comparison sites, but sometimes people know that from certain airports there are flights to specific countries at really good prices—like Bilbao for flights to Italy! I think I’ll wait a bit, yeah, and thanks again!

Hello,

There are usually more flights to Casablanca than Rabat. Check for your desired dates, but there’s a direct flight from Bordeaux to Casablanca with Royal Air Maroc.

Flight Bordeaux Casablanca - Flight ticket Bordeaux Casablanca

Compare with Iberia via Madrid.

No direct flight from Bilbao, though. Check with Iberia via Madrid as well.

Thanks so much for this valuable info, I’ll fine-tune it!! You’ve traveled so much—it’s awesome! We’re the same age but I’ve got way fewer adventures under my belt!! Laurence from Bayonne

hi, what’s the deal with EasyJet or Transavia? As mentioned earlier, there’s a train that goes from Rabat to Casa. Here
