bien évidemment, avant de consulter les membres du site, j'ai appelé le consulat d'algérie le + proche de mon domicile qui n'a pas su répondre positivement à ma requête
les cordonniers sont toujours les + mal chaussés
la référence à des proverbes ne fait guère avancer les choses

Quoi qu'il en soit, moi je conseillerai plutot de vous rapprocher du consulat général de France en Algérie.
Je suis sure que vous aurez des informations très pertinentes sur le sujet.

mais quid des conditions d'octroi?
par contre, votre réaction qualifiant de drôle d'idée le projet de fixer sa résidence en algérie m'intéresse particulièrement

Apparement nos réactions respectives font le meme effet chez l'un et l'autre:
l'etonnement.
Pour ma part je pense que soit vous etes dans l'ignorance totale de la situation tous azimuts en Algérie, soit vous vous avez un projet bien ficelé auquel cas vous sauriez très bien à quoi vous attendre.
Mais sachez quand meme que l'Algérie n'a rien d'exotique à part son Sahara et qu'elle est aux antipodes de ce qu'offrent nos voisins immédiats (Maroc etTunisie) en terme de dépaysement.
Restons en contact car cette réflexion m'intéresse beaucoup.

Toute façon la seul façon pour un étranger de résider en algérie, c'est d'étre un cadre envoyer par son entreprise, pour travailler. ou étre un homme d'affaire qui veux investire en algérie.
Si non c'est refusé, sauf si tu passe par le côté obscure la toute est possible.

alors dis moi où tu en es est ce que tu es finalement installé à Oran? ou ca été plus difficile que prévu? ene fait moi je suis passée par ces étapes mais je suis devenu ensuite algérienne, depuis pas très longtemps d'ailleurs. Grace à une loi concernanat les enfants de parents algériens! ma mère est algérienne! je suis mixte! mais j ai connu cette galère surtout qu 'n plus j ai toujours vécu à l'étranger. je vis actuellemnt en france, depuis trois ans; je viens souvent a oran pour le bouot. je connais bien les rouages. et j y vais dans meme pas une semaine, pour travailler la bas, a oran meme. donc si tu as besoin de conseils n'hésites pas à me contacter. voici mon mail larra99@hotmail.com

Donc: allant en Algérie depuis longtemps, en y ayant noué différentes amitiés, j'aimerais y aller plus souvent, sans pb de visas à chaque fois. Mon projet est d'y vivre un certain nombre de mois dans l'année, tout simplement, en continuant à essayer de comprendre ce pays auquel je me suis beaucoup attachée; j'ai un revenu assuré par un versement de retraite. A l'occasion, j'ai eu des activités dans des associations algériennes (projets de femmes ou en direction de femmes). Je peux avoir, par ailleurs, un certificat d'hébergement chez des amis à Alger.
Les autres pièces demandées ne sont pas trop difficiles à obtenir, je pense (cf. page du Ministère de l'intérieur algérien) Au commissariat de police algérien du quartier où j'étais, on m'en a précisé d'autres, complémentaires, pour un dossier auprès d'eux.
Mes questions seraient les suivantes: - d'après ce que vous savez, ou d'autres membres de ce forum, quelle chance ai je d'obtenir une telle carte, si je présente les différentes pièces demandées. Je veux dire; est ce que mon motif de résidence sera suffisant pour être accepté? Et est-ce qu'un certificat d'hébergement (légalisé auprès de l'APC, m'a-t-on précisé) sera lui aussi accepté? L'appartement de mes amis n'est pas très grand.
- je comptais, à l'occasion d'un séjour, aller déposer le dossier et repartir en France où j'ai des obligations familiales à remplir de temps en temps. Faut-il rester impérativement sur place en attendant la réponse ? Et si oui, quel est le délai moyen entre la demande et la réponse, si on peut répondre à cette question?
Ou alors une convocation pourra t-elle attendre que je revienne pour m'y rendre ?

C'est bien plus complique que cela ! Cela m'étonnerait qu'on délivré la résidence simplement sur le fait que tu es venue souvent en Algérie pour loisirs et non pas pour raisons professionnelles.
Tu dois pouvoir justifier d'une activité professionnelle en Algérie ou mariage ! L'enquête est très longue. On va de récépissé à récépissé...
Pour pouvoir faire les démarches il te faut déjà un visa professionnel, avec un visa de tourisme c'est impossible.
Le dossier est déposé au commissariat puis ça part a la Wilaya.
Vraiment c'est très loin d'être aussi "simple" sauf si tu as des "contacts" peut être....

Voici un détail que j'ai trouvé sur le site du gouvernement algérien :
Conditions de délivrance de la carte de résident pour les étrangers L’intéressé doit se présenter auprès des services de sûreté de son lieu de résidence muni des pièces suivantes : · une demande sur imprimé spécial retiré auprès du commissariat de police ; · cinq (05) photos d’identité récentes et ressemblantes ; · un timbre fiscal à 500 dinars (20 dinars pour les ressortissants tunisiens, les ressortissants Français en sont dispensés). · les certificats médicaux du demandeur (médecine générale et phtisiologie) ; · le certificat de vaccination d’usage pour les enfants mineurs âgés de 1 à 14 ans ; · les passeports en cours de validité ; · selon les situations : - permis de travail délivré par le Ministère chargé du Travail ; - certificat d’inscription à une école ou faculté ; - justification de l’exercice d’une activité industrielle, artisanale, commerciale ou libérale délivrée par les services compétents ; - justification de ressources suffisantes dans le cas où le postulant n’a pas l’intention d’exercer une activité.
Après vérification du dossier, la dite autorité délivrera au requérant un récépissé de dépôt qui tiendra lieu de carte de résident dont la validité ne pourra excéder trois (03) mois. Après enquête diligentée sur le demandeur, les services de sûreté transmettront sans le dossier complet assorti de leur avis, aux services de la wilaya qui procéderont à l’établissement de la carte. La carte de séjour est remise par le même canal des services de sûreté à l’intéressé.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.

I’m heading to Bangkok for a 5-month internship, and I’m wondering about the budget because I’ve read all sorts of things—so I decided to post here to get answers tailored to my situation! :D I found housing that costs me 7,000 baht (I know it’s a bit pricey, but it’s super convenient...), which works out to about 160 € all-inclusive. So, I was wondering if it’s realistic to live on 500 or 600 € per month, and if so, under what conditions? Is that enough, considering I’ll be working 40 hours a week?

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?

We’d love to swap our apartment for a house with a pool within 20-30 minutes max of central Aix, with a budget of around 650k €.
In terms of climate and geography, I’ve read that Aix is in a basin where it can get really hot. What about the surrounding villages that are a bit more elevated, like Venelles? Is it just as stifling?

Starting this spring, we want to settle near Aix-en-Provence. We're tired of living in the mountains with all the snow—we really need some sunshine and a fresh start.
