J'envisage de partir (expat) au Cameroun pour 2 ans minimum. Je connais la culture Africaine et j'ai une expérience touristique. Voilà, je me suis toujours demandé, comment je pourrais aider ce vaste peuple ? Je ne suis pas medecin ni même infirmier, je ne peux pas donner de l'argent « il ne ferait qu'enrichir les plus riches! » J'ai donc décidé d'apporter mon expérience professionnelle. J'ai trouvé un grand groupe Français, qui a une approche d'aide qui colle au politiquement correct en Afrique (rare !) C.F.A.O pour ne pas le nommer. Mon amie est infirmière et ne veux pas démissionner de l'APHP (Hôpitaux Public) Néanmoins elle acceptera de me suivre, sous réserve qu'elle trouve un Job sur place et que j’arrive à avoir des infos fiables sur ce beau pays.
Je cherche à avoir des réponses à ces questions :
1- Le climat de sécurité pour des expats ouvert ?
2- Y- a-t-il des villes ou des régions plus risquées ?
3- Des adresses sympas (pour amoureux de decouvertes!)
4- Le transport (compagnie de bus "qui roulent")
5- Des noms de contacts dans la santé (hôpitaux, assoc, dispensaires) qui recrutent des infirmières.

il y a aussi pas mal de renseignements à la MFE qui éditent régulierement des guides; mais je vois que tu connais déjà. je trouve que sur VF on oublie souvent tout ce qui peut venir du ministere des affaires etrangeres, alors que certains consulats ont un site internet avec des infos intéressantes. certains sont mieux que d'autres tout dépends tu personnels chargés de la mise à jour...

Bjr, vous dites vouloir vous s'expatrier au Cameroun, pour quelque temps et surtout votre aspiration a donner votre coup de main pour aider notre pays? Je trouve cet initiative tout a fait honorable de votre part.
Le Cameroun étant un pays très accueillant, il vous serrez facile de vous intégrer si vous ne rester pas dans les ghettos cossu, comme fais la majorité des occidentaux, que vous ne prenez pas les air de supériorité au de mépris envers les camerounais, votre séjour au Cameroun serait des plus agréable.
Pays a fort potentiel, en tant que occidental, je pense que beaucoup de porte vous seront ouverte facilement et surtout vous devrier suivre les objectifs pour les quelles pour vous etes au Cameroun, eviter de vous mettre dans les situations contraignant du style sortir sans vos papiers sur vous, car la police effectue regulièrement des controle d'identité comme en métropole, et surtout soyeux toujours docile envers les agent de l'ordre publics, ne prenez jamais vos airs d'occidentaux démocratique, vous risquerez de ramasser direct dans la guelle. Mais ce ne sont des situations tres rares rasurer vous.

Le cameroun est un beau pays dans lequel je peux jurer que l insecurité est des moindres cela ne veux pas dire qu elle n existe pas . Ainsi comme quartiers dans les grandes villes je peux te proposer Bonapriso, Bonadjo, Denver, Makepé en ce qui concerne Dla et Bastos, pour yaounde . Saches que si tu es simple et que tu n as pas de complexe de superiorité le cameroun et ses citoyens comme dans leurs habitudes t adopterons toi et ton amie. Soyez rassuré monsieur Douala est une bonne ville et les conditions de vie e sont tout aussi bonnes tout depend cependant en ce qui concerne le travail ;de votre employeur et des termes de votre contrat il faudra donc tout discuté de là bas . Pour le couvre feu il n y en a plus tout est revenu à l ordre et les quartiers que j avais cités sont des quartiers securisés ou on retrouve un dualisme entre noirs et blancs ;expatries et camerounais en plus ici il n ya pas vraiment de xenéphobie . Votre sejour sera agreable monsieur et votre famille à l aise si vous etes des gens simples et modestes.

Bonsoir à vous! je viens de tomber sur votre message, je suis algérienne et amoureuse de l'Afrique sud saharienne par sa culture (au sens large du terme) et son paysage , j'aimerais me rendre au Cameroun dans un premier temps je n'estime pas encore la durée, j'ai découvert un infime partiel de sa culture à travers un entourage camerounais résidant en Algérie ainsi que mes recherches personnelles, je travaille en tant que free lanceur dans le domaine du webmastering et print , j'ai envoyé à plusieurs entreprises locales et étrangères mes références sans qu'aucune réponse ne ma été renvoyée, je suis quelque peu découragée par la lecture des messages sur les différents forum faisant allusion à ce sujet, on y retient que le secteur du travail dans le domaine informatique est plutôt saturé, vous qui êtes sur le terrain est ce réellement le cas? j'ai également cherché le prix de location sur Yaoundé et Douala il varie selon les site et diffère du prix que m'ont communiqué mes amis .Pourriez vous donc m'orienter sur ce point également, je ne cherche pas le grand luxe un studio potable ferait l'affaire.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
