Je suis nouvelle sur ce site et je cherche des renseignements sur le Québec. Mon amie et moi voudrions nous y installer, mais j'avoue être perdue dans la complexité des démarches. Le problème est que je n'ai pas de profession à proprement parler, puisque je travaille en tant que comédienne et metteur en scène, je ne suis donc pas salariée, et n'ai aucun statut réel pour l'instant puisque je viens de terminer mon école de théâtre. Elle, est titulaire d'un bafa, mais je ne sais pas si ce diplôme est reconnu là-bas... l'idée pour nous simplifier la vie était de prendre un visa touristique et de chercher un travail et un logement sur place, quitte à passer un peu de temps à l'hôtel. J'espérais que le fait d'obtenir un permis de travail nous permettrait de rester au Québec. J'aimerais savoir si cela est réalisable, vu que je ne m'y connais vraiment pas...
Premièrement, je ne peux que te conseiller de lire les archives du forum car plusieurs discussions à ce sujet ont été maintes fois démarrées. Tu peux faire une recherche par mots-clés.
Ensuite, tu ne précises pas ton âge: si tu as 30 ans ou moins, tu peux faire une demande de PVT (programme vacances-travail), permis qui te permet de vivre et travailler partout au Canada pendant 1 an max, dans à peu près n'importe quel domaine. Tape "vacances travail canada" tu tomberas sur le site de l'ambassade canadienne.
Troisièmement, pour vivre de façon permanente au Québec, à long terme, il faut obtenir un visa de résident permanent. Il y a 4 façons de l'obtenir:
1) comme personne qualifiée (avec diplômes)
2) comme membre de la famille (regroupement familial)
3) investisseur
4) réfugié
Comme tu t'en doutes, c'est la première option qui est la plus accessible si tu n'as ni argent, ni famille au Canada.
Tu as des renseignements sur le site d'Immigration Québec afin de déterminer si tu serais admissible à faire une demande de résidence permanente comme personne qualifiée.
Pour ce qui est de travailler dans le milieu artistique, aussi bien rêver en couleur: le marché est extrêmement petit au Québec, il faut des connections dans le milieu des arts et un immigrant peut difficilement percer dans ce milieu. Je ne dis pas ça pour te décourager, mais pour que tu sois réaliste.
Une autre façon de faire: obtenir un permis de travail (durée max de 1 à 3 ans) grâce à un employeur québécois qui voudra t'embaucher. Évidemment, il faut avoir une certaine spécialisation car les emplois sont d'abord réservés aux locaux.. Si un employeur n'arrive pas à combler un poste par un local, il peut à ce moment recruter du personnel étranger.
Éventuellement, tu pourrais t'inscrire dans une université québécoise, comme étudiante, et obtenir un diplôme local. À la fin de tes études, il sera plus facile de trouver du travail car les diplômes français ne sont pas tellement reconnus ici.
Finalement...il est ILLÉGAL de venir au Canada comme touriste afin de travailler! Tu peux chercher du travail, mais pour avoir les documents nécessaires à l'embauche, il faut retourner en France et faire des démarches auprès de l'ambassade. Il est interdit de travailler au noir et ce, partout au pays. Si tu te fais prendre, tu risques d'être déportée en France par l'immigration, et je te jure que ça, je l'ai vu plusieurs fois (de jeunes Français qui ont aussi pris ce risque...). Ce n'est pas une option à prendre.
Voilà quelques pistes...Je te suggère de lire en long et en large les liens que j'ai mis, et plus particulièrement le site d'Immigration Québec.

Pour ce qui est de travailler dans le milieu artistique, ça n'est pas ce que je comptais faire, je suis aussi écrivain et publiée en France, je comptais donc garder uniquement cette activité en étant au Québec... malheureusement, vu les conditions, je pense que mon projet est fortement contrarié... en tt cas merci pour les renseignements !

Je me permet de préciser concernant le PVT qu'il est d'une durée limitée. De très nombreux français trouvent leur place au Québec et s'y plaisent en quelques mois mais il faut garder à l'esprit que pour pouvoir s'installer définitivement il sera necessaire de retourner en France pour entamer des démarches d'immigrations officielles. Il n'y a pas de passe-droit ou de système D pour faire autrement.
Sinon le PVT est un exellent système qui n'existait même pas il y a quelques années. Je vous suggère d'en profiter en gardant les pieds sur terre et l'esprit critique en éveil!

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
