Bien sûr, on peut s'installer n'importe où à n'importe quel âge. Mais de là à dire que rapatrier tous ses papiers est facile...
Certains pays demandent même à prouver qu'on apporte suffisamment d'argent pour y vivre.

Presque tous les pays te demandent de prouver des moyens financiers pour accorder des visas de longues durée, mais je ne vois pas en quoi ça rend impossible de toucher sa retraite en vivant à l'étranger, c'est même très tendance et de plus en plus fréquent.
Je ne vois pas de quoi tu parles quand tu parles de "rapatrier des papiers".
Toujours sur le même site : (tout ça pour dire que c'est pas simple).
Mais attention, si vous percevez le minimum vieillesse, vous ne le toucherez plus à l’étranger, cette allocation supplémentaire étant réservée aux retraités résidant sur le territoire français.
Hors Union européenne: Sauf accords entre les pays, il vous faudra cotiser à la Caisse des Français de l'étranger. Moyennant 114 € par trimestre ou 3, 5 % du montant de vos retraites, vous aurez droit à la même couverture que celle offerte en métropole. En prime, une cotisation égale à 2 % de vos pensions vous permettra de vous faire rembourser les soins reçus en France lors des séjours temporaires. Une mutuelle complémentaire est conseillée pour la partie restant à votre charge.
Question fiscalité : il peut y avoir double imposition, selon s'il y a un accord entre la France et le pays qui accueille.

Percevoir votre retraite à l’étranger : rien de plus simple ! Si vous étiez salarié en France ou si vous avez travaillé pour une société française, il vous suffit d’informer la Caisse nationale d'assurance vieillesse (CNAV) de votre déménagement et de votre nouveau lieu de résidence (un certificat de résidence est généralement demandé).
Si vous avez effectué une partie de votre activité dans des pays étrangers, il vous faudra contacter chacune des caisses locales auprès desquelles vous avez cotisé. Votre retraite sera alors versée sur un compte préalablement ouvert dans votre pays d’expatriation.
Mais attention, si vous

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.
3) Build a healthcare service
4) Build a nursery and primary school
5) Construct free housing for retired expatriates in exchange for their voluntary contributions in their respective fields.
