Bonjour, je viens de lire votre message et je suis intéressée pour partir vivre à Malte, j'y suis déjà aller 3 mois et j'ai tellement aimé que je voudrais y retourner. Est ce que vous recherchez une colocataire? et vous avez trouver comment votre logement? et pour du travail vous avez des pistes?? si je pe vous aider je le ferais volontiers.
Cet été, à partir de début juillet, nous avons le projet de venir travailler à Malte pendant les 2 mois, nous sommes 2 filles sûr de venir, et peut être 2 autres viendrait aussi!
Je voulais donc savoir, si parmi vous, il y aurait des gens qui aurait des colocations à nous proposer, ou des bons plans et des contacts pour des colocs.
Ca nous aiderait énormément! Si nous ne trouvons pas avant de partir, nous chercherons sur place mais nous aimerions tout de même avoir deja le logement!
Ayant déja fait deux saisons en Corse, j'aimerais opter cette fois pour l'île de Malte! Seulement je n'ai aucune information sur la difficulté ou pas pour trouver un job et un logement sur place... d'autant plus que je parle dans un anglais très très "improbable 🤪
Pour moi ce serait le bon compromis pour passer l'été au soleil et apprendre l'anglais... Je serais aussi partante pour de faire de la colloc; rencontrer de nouvelles personnes c'est enrichissant lorsqu'on voyage!!!

Je vous donne mes impressions sur mon vécu à Malte:
Je suis parti 3 mois à Malte pour la fin de mes études, je n'ai pas bosser la bas, car je voulai profiter et j'avais un peu d'argent de coté mais d'autres jeunes ont trouver des petits boulots.
Il est assez facile de trouver dans les bars et restaurant prés de St julians, c'est dailleurs LE SEUL endroit à Malte ou travailler et resider quand on est jeune...
LE hic, c'est que ce c'est vraiment Trés mal payer !
Mais bon la vie n'est pas cher et si vous partez juste pour perfectioner l'anglais, etre au soleil et faire la fete ca sera parfait... n'espérer pas cependant pas revenir avec de l'argent en poche ..
Nous etions dans une résidence Dean Hamlet a St julians et ont payé 100 euro par semaine pr un petit appart pour 2 en colloc, dans une résidence avec pisicne et plein d'étudiants c'etait trés sympa.
Pas cher pour des français mais quand on doit vivre avec ce qu'on gagne la bas c'est assez cher.
Voila moi j'y ai passé 3 mois merveilleux, ( avril, mai, juin) à savoir que l'été il fait vraiment chaud !!! en juin quans je suis parti il faisait 38°.
Sinon le plan est aussi les Gros hotel, genre hilton et Meridien ou vous pouvez aussi trouver de taf.

J'étais à malte il y a peu (comme beaucoup ici, pour une nieme formation en anglais qui n'a servi a rien...).
A cette période (printemps) trouver un logement ne pose absolument aucun problème, que cela soit en appartement individuel, partagé ou à l'hotel. Par le biais de ton école, d'un site internet ou en trainant sur place dans le quartier dévolu à ça.
Lu sur place sur le Malta Times : le nombre de touristes a baissé cette année de 18% par rapport à une année classique, la demande de personnel a du elle aussi baisser en rapport.
Cependant tu peux lire de temps en temps des panneaux de recherche de personnel sur la devanture de bars ou restos.
A mon avis le niveau minimum pour travailler est B2 (cadre européen). Mais plutot C1 si tu as un contact récurrent avec une clientèle.
Personnellement je n'ai vraiment pas apprécié mon séjour mais en été cela peut être plus agréable.
Si tu veux suivre des cours, certaines écoles de langues peuvent te trouver un job pendant tes etudes mais uniquement pour des stages longs de plusieurs mois et couteux. Vu les salaires locaux et le prix des cours, tu pourras tout juste payer l'école et t'acheter de quoi manger au supermarché (tout est importé et souvent très cher), le logement sera de ta poche, tout le surplus aussi.
Sinon par rapport à la Corse, oublie les plages, les arbres, etc.
Je vois que tu es actuellement à Malte, et je compte moi même y séjourner les mois de juillet et aout (avec une amie surement). Seulement, je ne me suis pas encore trop préoccupée du logement et du taff la-bas. Pourrais tu me dire si cela nécessite une grande organisation ou si c'est carrément possible de débarquer sur place, bagage à la main, et d'y trouver un job correct rapidement ? Pour le logement j'aimerais bien faire une coloc'...

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
