Je dois partir pour une année scolaire en tant qu'assistante de Français au Venezuela je ne sais pas encore dans quelle ville je serais affectée.
Je percevrais une indemnité d'environ 1500bsf et mes proches me soutiendrons à hauteur d'environ 300 E. Je dois partir avec mon conjoint qui, lui, n'aura pas d'activité rémunérée.
En ayant un rythme de vie simple, (pas trop de tourisme mais logement dans un quartier sécurisé) est-ce suffisant pour vivre à deux pendant environ 10 mois?
Je suis preneuse de toute information concernant surtout le cout de la vie là bas car mon inquiétude principale est de ne pas avoir de ressources suffisantes pour mener mon contrat à terme.
Tu auras une indemnité de Bsf 1500 / mois + 300 euros / mois ai-je bien compris ??
Si c'est le cas, alors selon les villes tu peux vivre. Ça sera pas le grand luxe, ça sera pas un quartier tranquille, mais tu auras de quoi te déplacer et manger.
Pour voyager ça risque d'être en revanche assez chaud (en bus c'est pas cher, mais l'hébergement au venezuela est hors de prix).
Mon budget perso par mois est d'environ Bsf 6000 et je roule pas sur l'or, loin de là. On a parfois du mal à joindre les 2 bouts. Pour info 6000 c'est 5 salaires minimum... donc j'imagine difficilement ceux qui en gagne qu'un !
Attention, je vis pas du tout dans le luxe. Petit dej avec une arepa à la maison, café + fromage paisa ou gouda avec du jambon et un oeuf, à midi des pâtes et un peu de poulet avec de l'eau pour boire, le soir sandwichs et un peu de coca-cola par exemple. Pas très équilibré mais oh combien normal ici. Je vais pas au resto, je mange peu dans la rue (budget max Bsf 30/pers.)... j'ai ma propre voiture certes, mais j'ai fini de la payer. Donc je paie l'essence, ce qui coute moins cher que le transport public et les taxis... bref, pas de chichis. On part pas en vacances mais on a de quoi se faire des cadeaux en décembre. Par contre pour mon anniversaire en juin c'est chaud^^. On est proprio de notre maison (on a acheté la maison et la voiture y'a 3 ans, quand le venezuela a connu une embellie économique sans précédent... depuis tout a changé ! Et on a été malins d'acheter à ce moment).Bien sûr j'ai un bébé et lui tout seul nous coûte plus de 1.000 / mois entre couches, lait, médicaments...
Bref, si tu changes tes 300 euros au black, tu en auras 3000 bolivars environ (3300 si tu te débrouilles bien) + 1500 = 4.500 par mois. Tu peux y arriver en étant plus fourmis que cigale.
Si j'étais toi, je partirai seule car si ton copain d'accompagne, ça va être horrible pour lui ! Il regardera la TV toute la journée enfermé dans un appart qui a les barreaux aux fenetres... dès qu'il sortira il sera perdu et parfois en danger. Sans parler de la chaleur... et ça va tecoûter un max alors que tu auras pas forcément les moyens.
A mon avis il devrait chercher un petit boulot ici pour s'occuper et collaborer niveau revenus. Dsl d'être aussi direct, mais j'ai vécuce genre de situation donc voila :)

En faite partir avec mon copain c'est non négociable! On vit ensemble depuis 3ans je ne veux pas le quitter pour une année entière.
Avoir un rythme de vie tranquille, c'est notre intention, par contre je ne voudrais pas habiter un quartier trop dangereux surtout si je suis affectée à Caracas par exemple!

Sinon qu'en est-il du marché de l'emploi? Est ce qu'il est possible de trouver de petits boulots pour un étranger? Mon copain est asiatique est-ce que les asiatiques sont aussi mal vus au Venezuela qu'à Cuba par exemple?

J'habite à Maturín où je me suis marié avec une venezuelienne ! Je suis dir. d'un centre de langues et en plus proprio d'une agence de voyage 🙂
Pour ton copain asiatique... ça complique tout ! Ici il y a un grand racisme contre les chinois. Et donc pour eux tout ce qui est bridé = chinois. Inutile de leur expliquer la différence entre un Coréen, un Vietnamien et un Japonais... pour eux c'est des "chinos". Même les indigènes péruviens par exemple on les appelle "CHINO".
En général c'est plutôt facile de trouver du boulot pour un européen (profite des contacts français sur place) car en plus on a l'image d'être de bons travailleurs (responsables et efficaces). Mais s'il est asiatique (d'aspect je veux dire) alors il ne bénéficiera pas de ce préjugé racial (dicrimination positive diraient certains haha).
Le racisme est déjà bien bête en France où il existe encore des frontières entre les "éthnies", mais alors ici c'est le pompon car niveau brassage éthnique, dur de faire mieux haha ! Feu mon beau-père était noir et crépu de Trinidad-et-Tobago, ma belle-mère est indigène Chaima (bridée donc), ma mère bourguignonne de souche, mon père fils d'imigré espagnol et de ch'ti, ma femme est métisse, ma belle-soeur (sa soeur donc) est noire avec les cheveux lisses et mon fils est encore pls blanc que moi... Bienvenue au pays de la salsa 😄
Bref, chaud chaud. Tu vas devoir attendre de savoir dans quelle ville tu vas être affectée pour faire des plans plus concrets.
