Changer tout simplement d`agent de voyage . Il n`est pas consciencieux dans son travail. C`est beau et chaud Pluvieux ? Bien voyons dont. comment peut- il se prononcer de cette manière...Il peut y avoir des averses mai c`est de très courte durée.
Allez ailleurs, trouverez un autre agent , et je vous souhaite d`excellentes vacances à Punta Cana
Depuis 5 ans je vais toujours à Punta Cana les 2 dernières semaines de février et toujours du beau temps, chaud, soleil mur à mur et quand il pleut ca dure à peine 5 minutes...je ne sais pas quel agent de voyage t'a dis ca... je ne sais pas sur quoi il ou elle se base pour dire ca...tu devrais aller en voir une autre.
Tu pars de Bagotville alors j'imagine que tu es au saguenay...moi aussi je suis du Saguenay.

Euh...pourquoi dis tu qu'il ne reste que punta cana ?? Ca a aucun sens, les caraïbes sont remplis d'endroit spectaculaires, chaud et beau et ce jusqu'au bord du Mexique !! S'il fallait qu'il y ait seulement 3 choix de destinations, nous y serions tous cordés comme des mouches ! ;)
change de compagnie, ils te font de la manipulation émotionnelle...
ouin..peut-être qu'un moment donné vous allez vous convaincre que ca vaut la peine de partir d'ailleurs !
à québec non plus y a pas tant de départs que ca. Habituellement on part de Montréal ou même de Toronto...quand les billets sont pris longtemps d'avance ca ne coute pas si cher que ça...et on peut aller partout :)
De montréal c'est pas pire, on peut se rendre en voiture, la laissez au stationnement et prendre un petit bed&brakfast pas trop cher pour le soir...et on a juste un avion à prendre !
Oui j'ai souvent voyagé avec Sunwing en partant de Bagotville mais cette année je prend Transat en partant de Québec.
Je suis allé au IFA villa bavaro...au Grand Palladium Punta Cana...au Caribe Club Princess...au Bavaro Princess et cet hiver je vais au Grand Palladium Palace.
Pour les excursions, il y en a plusieurs, mais assez dispendieux.
Mais si il y en a une à faire c'est l'île de Saona, c'est un incontournable; on prend l'autobus pour aller à Bayahibé (assez loin quand même) ensuite on embarque sur un gros catamaran qui nous amène sur l'île(gros party sur le bateau), on y reste un bon 2h (on se baigne, on mange, on danse, etc...ensuite on repart en speedboat, beaucoup plus rapide mais super tripant. En chemin on arrête à une piscine naturelle( au milieu de l'océan ) super beau, on voit nos pied au fond de l'océan tellement c'est clair, on y voit des étoiles de mer qu'on peut prendre dans nos mains, super excursion je l'ai fais 2 fois.
Il y a aussi bavaro runner( aller visiter une ferme dominicaine ) c'est bien aussi. Il y a aussi le Marinarium (nager avec les requins) j'ai beaucoup aimé aussi.
Tu peut aller nager avec les dauphins, faire du cheval, faire de l'hélicoptère, faire du buggy, de la plongée, de la pèche en haute mer, etc il y a tellement d'excursions qu'on ne peut pas tous les faires.
Toi tu vas à quel hotel? et à quelle période tu y vas?

oui, je com prends bien mais nous ya toujours les tempêtes de neige du parc ça y faut y penser donc partir une journeé avant et peut être être retardé au retour. donc la semaine de vacances, doit se prolonger par journée a nos frais, plus des nuits a l'hotel plus l'essence ça devient vraiment trop. ya de bon coté a demeuré au Lac mais a l'occasion il y a du négatif.
nous partirions le 7 mars 2013 pour le majestic élégance..........avec notre grande fille de 18 ans. sé supposé être ça cette année. merci pour les suggestions d'excursions.

allo kathy ... j'ai vu que tu avais fait plusieur hotel de punta cana ... pour ma part j'ai été au caribe club princesse et j'ai plus ou moin aimer ... l'ans passer nous somme aller au majestic colonial et la c'était le paradis ... mais cette anné nous y allons avec les enfants donc avec un budjet plus réduis nous avons choisi le grand paladium punta cana et j, ai tellement peur d"être décus :( les commentaires sont bien mélanger et je craint avoir fait un mauvais choix ... toi ??? tu as aimer ????? merci de tes commentaires :)
J'ai ADORÉ le Grand Palladium Punta Cana, tellement que j'y retourne cette année. C'est le plus beau voyage que j'ai fais à date à cet hotel.
C'est un très grand site et très beau. Si vous aimez marcher vous allez être servi sinon il y a un très beau train tout en couleur qui fait le tour du site toute la journée.
Pour les enfants vous ne vous trompez pas...(je sais pas quel age ils ont) mais pour les plus jeunes ils ont installé des jeux d'eau directement dans une piscine en plus d'avoir un parc pour enfants. Pour les ados, il y a une salle de jeux, jeux électronique, table de billard, ping pong etc...il y a aussi une discothèque directement sur le site.
Il y a des terrain de tennis, de volley, de badminton, jeux d'échec géant, bicyclette, etc...
Il y a beaucoup d'animation avec des animateurs très sympatiques et ils organisent des jeux autant sur la plage qu'à la piscine et on peut gagner beaucoup de beaux prix.
Ils organisent des beach party le soir sur la plage, c'est vraiment le fun, on c'est beaucoup amusé lors de ces beach party.
Il y a aussi un petit casino sur le site, amusant et on est pas obligé de jouer on peut tout simplement prendre un verre et regarder les autres. Il y a aussi des spectacles le soir au théâtre.
Il y a beaucoup de restaurants et buffets, la nourriture est très bonne (à date meilleur nourriture), il y en a pour tous les goûts, pas besoin de réserver aux restaurant à la carte et si c'est plein il te donne un biper, tu peut aller prendre un verre tranquillement en attendant qu'il te bipe.
Voilà en gros ce que je peut te dire, c'est vraiment un bon choix et n'ayez pas peur vous ne serez pas décu.

Le Gran Palladium est vraiment superbe, tu peux y aller sans craintes
Nous y sommes allés 2 fois et à chaque fois c'est très bien, nous avons aussi
séjourné au Gran Bahia Principe et c'est pas mal.
Pour la saison février , mars c'est superbe il fait beau et chaud.
j'ai confiance pour le palladium en général mais je crain de la section punta cana :S mauvais commentaire sur les chambre tres vieille .... mais on verra une fois sur place :)
Je vais dans le même sens que les autres, j'y suis allée en 2009 et 2011 les deux fois du 20 au 27 février environ, et il a fait super beau et chaud. Donc, aucune hésitation allez-y !!
Je vais aussi toujours a Punta Cana en février et il fait tres chaud et tres beau. La pluie ??? vraiment un petit 5 minutes par ci par la, une bonne averse parfois la nuit mais le reste du temps, c'est le paradis. Jamais eu de mauvais temps en février, d'ailleurs ni en décembre non plus. Il faisait 34 a l'ombre en février 2011, alors, si c'est pas chaud, je me demande bien c'est quoi.

bonjour alors nous sommes partis le 22 fevrier 2011 en rep dom mais nous etions a bayahibe coté mer caraibe hotel viva windham dominicus palace avec un temps magnifique les 15j passer las bas avec 3gouttes de pluie sejour magnifique ca fait toujours plaisir de preparer ses valises avec des maillots quand chez nous il neige😉 tu peux y aller sans probleme lollette
ben voyons donc mon frère est aller 3 fois en février moi début mars

I already did a tour in Peru 10 years ago in the Pacaya Samiria reserve, and it was amazing.
The simple reason was that the tour was on a motor-free canoe—we made no noise, so the immersion was total.
Is it possible to find a tour in Leticia that offers a motor-free boat excursion?

We want to do a few safaris, visit villages, the mountains, see tea plantations, etc. But we also want to see turtles. We love snorkeling but aren’t experts—we’re just happy to see colorful fish and coral. We’ve always wanted to see turtles too, so the idea is still to see *something* underwater 😊

I’ve planned a three-week itinerary for this summer, from August 9 to 27, in Sri Lanka:
Negombo – 1 night
Sigiriya and the Cultural Triangle – 4 nights
Kandy – 2 nights
Ella – 3 nights
Tangalle – 6 nights
Colombo Airport – 1 night
I know this isn’t the ideal time for the south since the beach conditions aren’t great, but we’ve booked a hotel with a pool and won’t be swimming in the sea. We want to relax after all the travel since we’re bringing our two kids, aged 6 and 8.
I know the east would be better, but (i) I’m struggling to find suitable accommodation, and (ii) it adds a lot of travel time, and my kids can only handle about 3 hours at a stretch.
I looked into Arugam Bay, but it’s a 7-hour trip back to Colombo from there.
I’ve checked every weather site imaginable, but they don’t all agree. Do you think we’ll spend our whole trip in the rain, or is the monsoon in the south mostly limited to the sea, as I’ve read?
I’m worried about ending up in the middle of a natural disaster with my two young kids, given recent events.

This year, 2026, I can only get away in April and May. I never travel during these months usually, and from what I know, they aren’t the best for India. But in such a big country, there are always spots that are better than others weather-wise.

We’re more drawn to the Andes, exploring colonial cities, typical villages, markets, and a bit of the coast. We’ve already gotten a taste of this in Bolivia, Colombia, and Chile. Plus, we’d love to do part of it by car since we’re used to driving at our own pace and stopping whenever we feel like it. Anyway, time’s running out, and I need to decide so I can finalize a route and book the tickets!!

Just giving you the quick context: A group of friends and I are planning a trip to South Korea (Seoul/Busan) at the end of June/July next year. It falls right in the middle of the monsoon season, but we don’t really have other availability options.😕
I’d love to hear from people who’ve visited the country and these cities during this period—basically, is it not as bad as it sounds, or should we just cancel our tickets (we don’t mind the heat, it’s mostly the rain that scares us).
I know there are plenty of indoor activities, but do you think we’ll still manage to get a few sunny days, or will it be torrential rain for our entire 2-week trip?
The only other country we’ve visited during the rainy season is Brazil (in the northeast) around the same time, and honestly, aside from a few really annoying downpours, we had sunshine most of the time and it was awesome. That said, the climate is totally different, so I’m not sure how relevant the comparison is.

Not sure if guidebooks, agencies, and other tour operators are keeping up by changing their visiting hours and offerings.
Personally, I see a promising opportunity here—jumping on this adaptation to extreme climates before others do, since they’re inevitably coming.
From my own travel experience, I’ve met a few guides so far who are starting to adjust, like in Egypt, Kenya, Senegal, and elsewhere.
They avoid crowds and the hottest hours by starting their tours around 6–7 AM, when it’s cooler.
Yeah, you’ve gotta wake up early, but the payoff is so worth it. 😴
If you’ve got any great tips like this, why not discuss them in this thread and share addresses or websites where the people in charge have realized climate change is real and are adapting? 😊
