Statut étudiant étranger, bien entendu. Il faut d'abord faire une demande d'admission dans une école professionnelle (je présume que vous cherchez à faire un DEP).

je croyais que pour un PVT il fallait etre agé de moins de 30ans avec une durée de 1 ans maximum.Si j'arrive a trouver une école profesionnelle puis je trouver un petit boulot a coté pour subvenir a mes besoins?C'est long une inscription pour un PVT car j'ai 35ans dans 3 semaines.

Bonjour Nikky, merci j'ai pus me renseigner sur les centres de formation pro mais j'ai vue que pour une formation de 6 mois ou moins, il ne faut pas de permis d'etude ou de CAQ.Or j'apprends que pour faire une demande de permis de travail aprés l'obtention d'un DEP il faut avoir fait une formation de 8 mois minimum.
merci.j'ai reçu des infos d'une école de formation au Québec(ENCEL), je savais qu'il fallait prévoir un gros investissement mais 52000,00$ pour une formation, je savais pas que c'était a ce point là.

Si j'ai bien compris, il cherche à faire un DEP en conduite de poids lourds. Cette formation ne se donne pas dans les Cégeps, mais au niveau secondaire professionnel (école de métiers). Les écoles professionnelles sont normalement gratuites car subventionnées par le public, mais je ne sais pas si les Français doivent payer, ce qui est fort possible.
Le ENCEL est par contre une école de métier privée dont la formation est reconnue par le Ministère de l'Éducation.
Il existe 2 écoles publiques pour l'apprentissage de la conduite de poids lourds:

Le DEP et le DEC c'est différent.
Le DEC est une formation technique de 3 ans incluant une formation générale (littérature, philo...) et qui permet de poursuivre vers l'université si l'étudiant le souhaite. Se donne au CÉGEP.
Le DEP est une formation plus courte (1 à 2 ans) et se donne dans une école de métier. Axée uniquement sur le métier, sans formation générale.
En effet, pour être admis dans un programme de conduite de poids lourds il faut détenir un permis de conduire du Québec.
Cette formation n'est pas vraiment conçue pour être offerte à des étudiants étrangers à mon avis, il faudrait pratiquement qu'il immigre d'abord au Québec. Pour passer le permis au Québec, il faut d'abord être considéré comme résident!
edit: Il faut aussi avoir une maîtrise de l'anglais pour pratiquer ce métier, car les employeurs envoient les camionneurs aux États-Unis et au Canada anglais, sur une base quasi hebdomadaire. Il faut être capable de transiger en anglais avec les autorités américaines lors du passage à la frontière et de communiquer avec les services de dépannage. Il faut aussi avoir un passeport valide ou un permis de conduire Plus+ (réservé aux Canadiens). Le passeport français impliquerait l'obtention d'un visa américain car il ne serait pas possible de voyager sous le programme d'exemption de visa vu la fréquence des voyages.
Par contre, les perspectives d'emploi sont très, très bonnes car 90% des échanges commerciaux se font entre le Canada et les États-Unis, et entre les différences provinces canadiennes.

oui j'ai vu qu'il parlait d'ENCEL et les domaines de formation, mais le fait que l'école ne propose que ces formations ne m'a pas fait tilter car je ne pensais pas qu'il ne recherchait que celles-ci, juste que l'école proposait seulement cela en tant qu'école spécialisée.

En faites je voudrai faire un DEP de conduite d'équipement lourd(engins de chantier)ou en voierie forestière car il parait qu'il y a pas mal de demande et que le caces français ne vaut rien au Québec.Je vais me renseigner sur les 2 établissements que vous m'avez proposé, j'avais vue celui de Forestville mais je n'arrive pas a aller sur leur site.merci beaucoup

pour le permis véhicule de loisirs, l'équivalence avec le permis français existe, moyennant quelques frais à la SAAQ.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.
3) Build a healthcare service
4) Build a nursery and primary school
5) Construct free housing for retired expatriates in exchange for their voluntary contributions in their respective fields.

WEP offers loads of different projects, including one I really like: helping and volunteering on a farm, particularly in South America (Peru or Argentina).

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland?
