J'ai fait deux courts séjours à Winnipeg pour mon àtravail à l, époque .Un quartier de cette ville(ST Boniface) est entierement francophone., On en rencontre d'autres du coté de La Bouverie, village situé a une 60km de Winnipeg.
Le Manitoba et sa province voisine Saskatchewan sont le grenier du Canada et d, une bonne partie du monde...Le relief y est désespérément plat. La terre est bonne ce qui explique les innombrables champs de blé à perte de vue.Elevage de bovins aussi (le fameux boeuf de l'Ouest....)
Bien sur il se trouvera tjs l'un ou l, autre manitobain pour défendre son coin de pays .Et c'est certain qu'il y a des choses à voir, à faire(riviere Assiniboine, lacs Manitoba et Winnipeg) mais de là a y vivre....????

Par ailleurs, j'ai aussi mon mot à dire dans la mesure où j'espère trouver du travail, là où on s'installera. Cela dit, j'aimerais éviter le Quebec.
Sa motivation principale est l'envie de passer sa retraite dans un endroit nouveau, de voir et connaître d'autres gens, une autre culture, un nouvel environnement et de quitter un pays où elle a beaucoup souffert. Honnêtement, elle hésitait entre la Suisse et le Canada mais j'ai fait pencher la balance pour la Canada. D'après les infos trouvées sur les différents sites, le seul moyen pour maman de s'installer là-bas serait le regroupement familial. En d'autres termes, j'y vais, je trouve du travail et je la faire venir en la parrainnant. Est-ce bien là la procédure? et pour toutes les provinces?
Perso, je trouve un peu fort qu'on ait pas le droit d'aller vivre où on veut sur cette planète qui n'appartient à personne, ou à tout le monde.

Si tu as envie de voir des montagnes comme il y en a en Suisse et d'être en bonne compagnie aussi, je t'invite à te renseigner sur le Yukon, qui est un des territoires du Canada (situé au nord de la Colombie-Britannique).

Je te conseil de t'informer un peu plus sur le Québec avant de revirer le Québec du revers de la main, surtout la ville de Québec elle même. Je comprend pour la ville de Montréal (criminalité, ville très urbaine, polution et ville vraiment pas jolie) ou les région (RIEN à faire outre que de voir des arbres et des arbres héhé), mais la ville de Québec est très jolie et paisible... Il y a relativement de l'emploi si ont recherche un peu, les gens sont très gentil et courtois, beaucoup de nature aux alentours et il y a très très peu de criminalité. Si tu désire le manitoba, songe plus au Québec, sans vouloir prêcher pour ma paroisse...
Si tu désire par contre trouver du travail plus rapidement et plus payant, apprendre l'anglais, etc... songe à l'ouest Canadien (Calgary, Edmonton et Vancouver)... Moi je quitte le Québec pour un petit voyage dans l'ouest Canadien, fin août, je veux voir un peu le pay et surtout pour apprendre l'anglais, car la ville de québec pour l'anglais ces impossible d'apprendre... Je passe, je dis bien passe par winnipeg (seulement pour ne pas avoir à passé par les USA) et ensuite direction Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver et retour à Calgary et si rien de concret je suis de retour au Québec donc je pourrais, si tu le désire, te donner un peu plus d'information après mon périple...
Avoir le choix entre la Suisse et la Manitoba, disons que le Manitoba serait vite mis de côté. Bon c'est personnel.. Mais je n'irais jamais vivre là.
Si elle tient à tout prix à éviter le Québec (pourquoi au fait?), j'irais alors plutôt vers la Colombie- Britannique ou les provinces Maritimes. Moins triste. (Coût de la vie pas mal plus élevé en C-B, mais salaires en conséquences, j'imagine).

Je suis en ce moment en Suisse pour mes études, et même si j'ai déjà une proposition de travail alléchante, j'aimerais changer d'endroits.
Apparemment le manitoba n'est pas très populaire. Alors je vais laisser tomber cette région. Je viserai plutôt l'ouest maintenant.
Enfin, il faut vraiment qu'on visite avant de se décider.
Pour les personnes désirant travailler, il y aura toujours de l'emploi.
Pour ce qui est du climat, il est considéré comme sub-arctique. i.e. L'été est doux avec environ 20h de soleil par jour, l'hiver est plutôt froid avec 20h de noirceur par jour.
Ne t'inquiète pas des ours, ils sont loin de la ville. Pour ce qui est des attaques par exemple, il n'y a environ qu'un décès par attaque à tous les 10 ans. Faut pas s'en faire si on n'en rencontre en montagnes, suffit de savoir comment se comporter et d'emmener une bonbonne de poivre.
Quant à moi, j'en ai rencontré que sur la route qui traversaient pour retourner dans les bois.

Mon beau-frère a dû envoyer du foin ces dernières années(les agriculteurs s'entraident)et je peux te dire qu'ils ont des beaux champs mais tout secs et à perte.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
