Je souhaiterais étudier les relations internationales et le droit international ou le journalisme à Montréal.
Selon les avis que vous avez, ce que vous avez entendu ou votre expérience, quelle université entre UQAM et l'université de Montréal est la meilleure dans ce domaine-là? Ou sinon quelle est selon vous la meilleure des deux tous domaines confondus?
Mon lycée est conventionné avec SciencePo ce qui permet d'y rentrer "plus facilement". Je compte faire la revue de presse, assister à tous les ateliers et me présenter à tous les oraux sans toutefois vouloir entrer à SciencePo. Je veux faire ça pour ma culture générale et parce que je pense que ça peut m'apporter un plus sur le plan personnel. Et je compte envoyer ma revue de presse et un résumé de ce que j'ai fait dans cet atelier pour pouvoir me "vendre" d'autant plus lors de ma demande d'inscription dans une université à Montréal. Je compte aussi y joindre une lettre de motivation et une de recommandation de la part d'un journaliste de radio france où j'ai fait un stage. Que pensez-vous de ses démarches?
Dernière question, auriez-vous un site qui explique clairement le fonctionnement des études supérieures au Québec? Parce que je me perds un peu dans le vocabulaire employé, le système de crédit et d'autre élément.
Toutes les universités du Québec sont bonnes. Tu ne peux pas vraiment te tromper, ici l'éducation universitaire est de bonne qualité. Mais pour le droit en général, l'UdeM est très bien. Mais pourquoi tu considères juste la ville de Montréal? Sherbrooke, Québec, Gatineau ont aussi des universités!
Il faut plutôt regarder le contenu des cours (tu veux faire un baccalauréat ou une maîtrise? je ne parle pas ici du bac français!) et voir ce qui t'attire le plus. Et aussi tes objectifs?
Le programme de relations et droit international à l'UQAM est très contingenté. Ce n'est pas dit que tu y accèderas. Tu devrais postuler aux 2 universités, tout simplement, et voir après.
En gros, ici l'université il y a 3 cycles:
-baccalauréat (1 er cycle) durée de 3 (ou 4 ans, c'est selon le programme)
-maîtrise (2e cycle) durée de 2 ans. attention, ce n'est pas forcément l'équivalent du master français.
-doctorat (3e cycle)
les crédits sont les valeurs attribués pour chaque cours. Dans un baccalauréat, il faut cumuler 90 crédits pour avoir le diplôme. Les cours valent généralement 3 crédits, donc 90/3 = 30 cours à faire dans le programme. C'est tout ce qu'il y a à retenir.

Comme l'ont dit les posters précédents, ces programmes sont très contingentés et ton admission dépendra de ta moyenne générale, dans les matières importantes, ainsi que des prédictions que pourraient faire tes profs pour une possible mention au bac.
Ton plan est un bon plan (Atelier convention Sciences Po) mais tu ne peux pas "mettre tous tes oeufs dans le même panier"

I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
