Salut tout le monde !!! Je suis nouvelle sur le forum et j'aurais besoin de quelques petits conseils, SVP, SVP....... Je souhaite amménager un bus en camping car pour tracer à travers toute l'Europe. Je me donne un an pour tout préparer. Je manque de rens.....alors vous voulez bien répondre à quelques ???Quel sont les démarches à faire au début ? Que faut-il comme amménagement pour le passage aux mines ? La taxe utilitaire est elle obligatoire ? L'autorisation du constructeur pour l'amménagement est payante. Combien coûte-t-elle ? J'ai entendu dire que l'on pouvait s'assurer dans un autre pays européen comme l'Allemagne car c'est beaucoup - cher. Quelqu'un peut me renseigner ?

Bonjour, Je suis une etudiante qui l'avoue, n'a qu'une vague image de ce qu'est l'Europe de l'Est. Je suis par contre tres interessee a cette region. Je me pose principalement 3 questions:Ou aller (je suis attiree par la Lithuanie et par la Hongrie... je voudrais voir quelques pays pour me donner une bonne idee de la realite la-bas en 2 mois) Comment devrais-je me debrouiller avec les langues (si il y a quelque chose que je deteste, c est de voir des touristes qui ne savent par s exprimer dans un pays... mais ca doit s'appliquer a moi aussi... je suis prete a prendre un petit cours pour m'aider avant de partir) Le prix des choses (ouais j'ai pas beaucoup de fric...) ha! et aussi, si il y a des endroits dangereux. merci beaucoup! j'ai vraiment besoin de conseils et de renseignements!

Je suis québecois et je pars le 31 mai du sud de la France pour me diriger vers l'Europe de l'est pour une période de 3-4 mois (Slovénie, Croatie, Hongrie, Roumanie, Slovaquie, Rép Tchèque...) Je reviens sur Paris vers la mi septembre.

Si vous avez des informations, conseils suggestion d'itinéraire à me proposser n'hésiter surtout pas à me faire savoir.

QQun peut-il me dire si pour nous(canadiens) il nous faut un visa pour entrer en Turquie . Mon agent de voyage ne sait pas et ça ne me tente pas d'appeller l'ambassade à Ottawa....

D'apres les connaisseurs est-ce une bonne idée de prendre le ferry à Brindisi (voiture et passagers). Tjs pour se rendre à Istambul.

Finalement en comptant 2 jours d'arrêt à Florence, combien de temps (en jours) pour faire Bruxelles-Istambul ?

Peut-on faire confiance à Mappy ou viamichelin....?

je n'ai pas peur des bobos 🏴‍☠️ ni des rencontres un peu étranges 🤪 ...je pense (sans ne rien connaitre au sujet cependant) que je pourrais me débrouiller en CROATIE . MAIS LE SEUL BUDGET ME fait un peu peur ... Pour 2 semaines, vous qui avez voyagé entre campings et auberges de jeunesse, mais qui vous êtes offert le luxe de quelques grenadines et d'un nouveau chapeau de paille (à la dernière mode à ZAGREB), combien me conseillez vous de prévoir?

Bonjour, je cherche par ceux qui l' ont vécu des infos pratiques en particulier sur la Syrie pour 1 voyage -Avril /Mai-en voiture depuis la region lyonnaise via l ' ex Yougoslavie, la Grece .l ' Est de la Turquie, la Syrie, puis continuation sur le Liban et -ou- Israel puis retour par la Turquie, Grece ...avec une partie en ferry depuis la Grece ou la Yougo sur l Italie, ou alors directement en ferry depuis Haifa(Israel ) sur Patras. En particulier : pbs aux frontieres (temps d attente, bakchiches..), possibilitees de campement en Syrie, "pieges" eventuels....etc .

And I don’t think Ukraine is really a good idea either—I’d feel weird being a tourist while they have more important concerns right now. Any ideas where I could go?

I’m planning a campervan road trip and would love some tips from those who know these countries: Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, and Slovenia again. At the moment, nothing’s set in stone, but for example, is it better to visit Slovenia or Bosnia? My preferences lean toward landscapes (rivers, sea, lakes)—basically anywhere there’s water! :) Wild camping, cheap or even free spots, and a *very* tight budget—it’s the discovery, curiosity, and meeting locals that drive me. I’ll visit cities and sites only if access is easy (by bike, for example, or by train from an affordable campsite) and if visitors aren’t treated like cash cows. Just reasonable stuff, really. So, any advice is welcome—like swimming spots or easy hikes along coasts or rivers. I love caves and offbeat visits (salt mines in Poland, La Roque Saint-Christophe in France, etc.). Mid-June, two Auvergnats on the starting blocks—off we go to the former Yugoslavia! We’d already explored some nooks and crannies of northern Croatia back in 2019, so we’re keeping the momentum going by planning a trip to the south of the country and then Montenegro.

On the way back, we’ll drift into Bosnia-Herzegovina just to mix things up a bit!

We’re a little unsure about what to expect in terms of tourist crowds.

Dubrovnik has a reputation for being the hardest-hit city by overtourism, and Kotor and the whole Dalmatian coast aren’t exactly empty...

Luckily, most European countries haven’t started school holidays yet, and some measures seem to have been put in place to limit the flow (like restrictions on the number of cruise ships allowed to dock at the same time).

Maybe we’ll manage to escape the promised hell?

For now, we’re slamming the doors of the Scirocco and heading off to our first stop: northern Italy!

Hi everyone, I’m planning a third trip to Madagascar in 2026. This time, heading north and then part of the west coast before going back up. The question I’m asking myself—same as during our first visits—is Nosy Be or not? Of course, the photos show stunning beaches, and when you mention Madagascar, almost everyone says Nosy Be or at least has heard of it. That’s actually why we didn’t include it in our itineraries before, especially since we’d already seen paradise-like beaches in the south, and we had them all to ourselves because they were hard to reach. On the other hand, I’ve always been drawn to Île Sainte-Marie, but from the north, you have to go back down to Tana, which I’m okay with in principle. So, what’s your take? Nosy Be and its surroundings—what do you think? Just tourists looking to party? Thanks

When it comes to choosing your next trip, what tips the scales in favor of Eritrea over Ibiza?

Why pick Canada over French Polynesia?

The price? A magazine or TV report, a travel journal, an Instagram ad? Ease of travel? Minimal time difference? The country that has the most in common with all the trip participants? Activities? Relaxation? The desire to push your limits?

What else, I wonder...

Personally, I often prioritize simple destinations (no administrative hassles), where I’m not at risk (nothing extraordinary like getting kidnapped by Daesh or ending up in a jail cell because the current geopolitics aren’t favorable to my passport, etc.), and where I can drive.

Wide-open natural spaces are more my thing than urban anthills.

Finally, I try not to spend three days on a plane to reach my destination, and I aim for a maximum budget of 3500 € (for 3 weeks) in comfortable conditions—that means charming hotels, good meals, etc.
