Nous partons en voyage de noces en juillet sur le Costa Victoria (Départ de Venise, Bari, Olympie, Mykonos, Santorin, Rhodes, Dobrovnik). J'aimerais savoir si j'ai fais le bon choix et notamment je me pose plusieurs questions : 1) Quel est l'âge moyen de ce type de croisière sachant que nous partons pendant vacances scolaires ? 2) Quels sont les prix des forfaits boissons ? 3) Les pourboires sont ils imposés (les 6 euros /pers/jour nous paraissent aberrants !) ? 4) Y a t-il un risque d'avoir le mal de mer ? (Nous avons pris une cabine extérieure avec balcon vers le centre arrière)

En gros, j'aimerais avoir l'avis de voyageurs qui sont déjà passés par Costa pour pouvoir éviter les pièges et les "extras" !

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a travel companion for next year, specifically for May 2026, to explore Latin America and the Caribbean. Ideally, I’d prefer a woman aged 25 to 35—I’m 34—but I’m also open to a friendly guy in the same age range.

I’d love to visit all of South America except French Guiana, and Central America except Mexico and Guatemala (since I’ve already been there). I’d also like to explore some Caribbean countries. I’m based in the Lyon area and open to connecting with people in the Rhône-Alpes region to get to know each other and discuss the trip.

Hi there, I’m planning a trip to Greece this summer with my 3-year-old son. I recently separated, and we were originally supposed to go on a road trip to Brazil, so I’m now forced to find a Plan B. I’m usually a backpacker who travels with just my backpack, but with my son, I’ll have to opt for all-inclusive hotel packages. I don’t feel ready yet to go backpacking alone with him at the other end of the world. When he’s 5, it’ll be easier :)

Anyway, with so many options for Greece, I’m a bit overwhelmed. There are so many islands and resorts. Do you have an island to recommend? And more specifically, a hotel?

I’m planning a short trip—max one week—to connect to the Dolce Via starting from La Voulte and then link up with the Dolce Fluvia. I’d like to head up via Le Puy and was wondering if it’s best to make the connection by going through Saint-Agrève, then up to Chambon/Lignon, and finally to Raucoules. Does anyone have a nice route suggestion? I’m traveling with a loaded touring bike (a Farrad TX800 with two rear panniers), but I’m limiting my load to 13 kg. I’m aiming for around 70 km a day, max 80 km, and I usually sleep at campsites or in a guest room if the rain’s too heavy.

On my way up to Le Puy-en-Velay, I plan to come back down through the Ardèche mountains, then head to Aubenas and the Rhône Valley. Does anyone have route ideas with scenic roads (like Lac d’Issarlès) or any other suggestions?

Hi everyone, A little feedback on our 12-day cruise in early November on the Lirica.





The Lirica is a human-sized ship with 2,500 passengers for an old-school cruise—no extra-charge themed restaurants or bars, but large lounge bars with plenty of seating. We had no trouble grabbing a drink. The meals are decent, the staff is always helpful, but the ship is starting to show its age, and the cabins aren’t exactly fresh anymore. The low point: the shows were the worst we’ve seen in eight cruises—barely up to camping standards.

Day 1 Boarding in Venice. Since the ship now departs from Marghera, there’s a transfer from the terminal to the ship by water shuttle. Day 2 At sea. Day 3 Katakolon We’ve already visited Olympia twice, so we did some shopping at the port and the only shopping street. Day 4 Heraklion Excursion with MSC to the Palace of Knossos and shopping. It’s a bit pricier than doing it on your own, but you get the guide’s explanations.





After visiting the palace, we explored Heraklion—a very lively city.

Day 5 Rhodes The ship docks just steps from the old town, a magnificent city surrounded by its ramparts.







Visit to the Palace of the Grand Masters.

Our trip to Puglia left a bitter taste—between the trash, privatized beaches, and relentless heat.

But on our way home, a short stop in Tuscany reconciled us with Italy.

This new summer, we’ve decided to add this beautiful region to our itinerary!

As usual for relatively nearby destinations, we’ll be driving via the Col de la Lombarde on the way there and Mont Cenis Pass on the way back.

A chance to kill two birds with one stone: one trip, multiple landscapes crossed.

For our Tuscan stay, we’ve chosen a house tucked away in the Chianti vineyards.

Peace and quiet, barely disturbed by the occasional wild boar or deer!

You’ve probably gathered that we won’t be sightseeing fanatics, even if classics like Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Pisa, and the Abbey of Saint Michael of the Cluse are on the agenda.

Nous pensons rester assez longtemps en Crête et sommes à la recherche d'un hébergement avec une chambre et cuisine, hors zone touristique, dans un village et en pleine nature, avec beaux paysages et possibilité de belles randonnées. Je suis étudiante à Londres mais je suis sur Toulouse et souhaiterais au mois d’octobre rentrer à Londres en vélo sachant que j’ai aussi un chien que je compte tirer avec une remorque ou il sera dedans. Je compte d’abord effectuer le trajet Toulouse - Paris et ensuite prendre le ferry à Dieppe et de paris à Londres rejoindre le chemin balisé qui est fait pour faire ce projet en vélo environ 500km. Par ailleurs de Toulouse à paris je ne sais pas trop comment m’y prendre par où passer pour que ce soit le plus sécurisé et facile sachant que j’ai bcp de poids à tirer. Si quelqu’un peux me donner des conseils ou l’as fait ou à quelques Recommendations je suis prenneuse . Merci Clara

Bonjour Peut être a t on déjà répondu à la demande ci après, et je vous prie de m'en excuser. Je souhaite me rendre vers le 20 aout en Grèce par avion depuis Marseille pour une semaine voire 10 jours avec Madame et notre garçon de 9 ans : - quelle ile privilégier pour le calme (un peu optimiste je sais en cette période- j'ai déjà exclu Mikonos et probablement Santorin..) - quelques visites pour un pèlerinage historique sur les traces d'Aristote et Platon - de bons petits plats grecs et les boissons locales... J'ajoute que je ne cherche pas impérativement les petits prix.. (la vie est trop courte..faut en profiter...) et que dans tous les cas ma destination est également fonction des liaisons aériennes entre Marseille et l'ile choisie. Merci d'avance Cordialement Nacer
