Bonjour a tous, Voila ma copine et moi avons décidé de partir en Tunisie. Nous avons l'avantage de pouvoir choisir nos dates de vacances et nous souhaiterions partir en Juin puisque les prix sont tout a fait abordable a cette saison.

Nous hésitons entre 2 choix de destination possible actuellement. Hammamet a l'hôtel Club le Président ***, qui est apparemment d'un très bon rapport qualité prix. C'est justement ça qui m'inquiéte ! Les performances sont elle a la hauteur du prix ou bien ce club est réellement peu cher et convivial ? Apparemment c'est assez convivial, le confort y'est simple mais tant que c'est propre et que la bouffe n'est pas immangeable nous ça nous va ! Nous sommes très modeste et fort peu exigeant :-) Pour info je paierai départ de Lille 369 euros en formule all inclusive. Donc pas très cher ! Jerba à l'hôtel Mélia Palm Azur ****. Je n'ai lu que des bonnes critiques sur cet hôtel, personnel sympa, superbe cadre. Bien sur c'est un peu plus cher 573euros par personne départ de Lille formule all inclusive, mais ça a l'air d'être un hôtel très réputé sur cette ile. Notre but pendant cette semaine étant de prendre du plaisir ( pratiquer quelques activités sportives : Kayac de mer, baignade, plongée ..), se reposer, mais également découvrir la population locale ainsi que son artisanat. Si vous pouviez m'en dire plus sur ses hôtels d'après vos expériences vous nous aideriez grandement à faire notre choix. Merci pour toutes vos réponses ;-)

je prépare un tour du monde et je souhaite aller à ushuaia seulement voilà, les dates ne sont pas idéales.J'aurais aimé savoir s'il était possible de s'y rendre pendand la periode fin avril début mai.De plus avec le billet tour du monde je dois faire Buenos Aires- Santiago-Punta Arenas. Arrivée à Punta Arenas je dois me déplacer avec les moyens du bord et j'aurais aimé savoir dans quelle mesure cela est possible. Autre possibilité c'est une fois à Buenos Aires acheter un billet aller simple ou retour pour ushuaia selement je ne connais pas les tarifs sur place si quelqu'un pouvais me donner une idée. I’ve already done several bike trips (Serbia, Romania, the Pyrenees, Massif Central, Creuse, etc.) and have all the gear I need. The goal is mainly the journey itself—discovering beautiful landscapes (I take a lot of photos with a proper camera 😊) and getting a break from civilization. Major roads? Not my thing! Hello everyone, Thanks for this amazing forum—I’ve spent hours browsing through it. I’m reaching out to ask for your help as we’re looking for a destination for our honeymoon. We never travel outside Europe, so we’re total newbies, but we want to treat ourselves for this special occasion.

Dates: June 23 → July 8 (possibly until July 12) Duration: 2 to 3 weeks Budget: Not really an issue for this trip

Our plan: - A seaside destination first and foremost, with beautiful beaches - We’d like to do some hiking or at least go on walks with scenic viewpoints - A relaxing trip with sunshine, lush greenery, and stunning landscapes - A safe destination

Our thoughts so far: - New Zealand: our dream, but it seems like the wrong time of year weather-wise ++ - Azores: ruled out due to unpredictable weather—what do you think? - Mauritius/Reunion combo: vetoed by my future wife ^^ - Seychelles: seems like it could work, but I’ve read about a few downsides (no shops to buy food, snorkeling not always amazing, occasional weather/tide issues making swimming tricky)

Other options: - French Polynesia: we’re really dreaming of it, but is 2 weeks too short for such a long trip? - Hawaii: same question—too far? - Sardinia?

I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to run a simulation on Nile Air’s website for a flight from SSH Sharm to Cairo, but it keeps crashing every time. I’ve tried several dates. I have flights with Egyptair or Air Cairo, but it seems like Nile Air’s prices are much more interesting. Does anyone know if they have daily flights or not? Thanks, and happy holidays to everyone.

We’re a couple traveling with our 2.5-year-old baby. We’re heading to Patagonia in March or April 2026. We don’t have exact dates yet because this will be the start of a long trip around Latin America. We’ll be traveling by public transport, with our backpacks and a baby carrier for support. We’ll take a domestic flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, and the rest will be by bus.

Here’s the itinerary we’ve planned: - Buenos Aires (5 days) - Ushuaia (5 days or more) - El Calafate (3 days) - El Chaltén (5 days) - Los Antiguos + border crossing at Chile Chico - Puerto Río Tranquilo (Chile) (5 days) - Coyhaique (Chile) (3 days) - Chiloé Island (Chile) (10 days) - Puerto Varas (Chile) (3 days) - Bariloche (5 days) - San Martín de los Andes (3 days) - Mendoza (5 days)

After that, we’re thinking of spending a few days in Córdoba, then a month in Salta. We plan to head back down to Santiago (Chile) and then head north along the Chilean side toward Peru.

What do you think of this itinerary (especially the Patagonia part)? Is it doable with a young child just over 2.5 years old? I’d also love to include Esquel and El Bolsón in Argentina, but I’m not sure how to fit them in or if they’re really worth it. The durations are approximate, depending on what there is to do in each place... Do you have any suggestions for improving it or any tips?

We want to do some easy hikes or half-day walks since we won’t be able to carry him all day. That’s why we’ve intentionally left out Torres del Paine National Park (very expensive and not very baby-friendly, I think). Do you know of any hikes that are accessible with a little one?

My wife, our kids (aged 5 and 9), and I will arrive in Fukuoka on May 27, 2026. We plan to visit Japan for about a month—maybe a month and a half (we’re starting our 11-month world trip in Japan, so I’m flexible with dates).

For the driver’s license, can I get it translated in advance and receive it in France? If so, do you know of a website or contact that handles this?

For car rental, which company would you recommend? I did a simulation on Nippon Rent-A-Car, and it seems like a solid option. As for driving, I’ve already driven in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and Thailand, so if all the signs are also in Latin letters, I should be fine! That said, I know I won’t be driving in big cities like Osaka, Kyoto, or Tokyo.

We love the freedom a car provides.

Broadly speaking, we’d like to follow this route (mixing car rental and trains): Fukuoka > Hiroshima > Himeji > Osaka > Kyoto > areas around Mount Fuji > Nagano > Nikko > Tokyo

We’ll rent the car from Fukuoka to Himeji and from Kyoto to Tokyo.

I’m torn between exploring the northern coast (Nagato / Matsue / Tottori / Miyazu) or sticking to the southern coast (Fukuoka / Hiroshima / Fukuyama / Himeji). We’d love to see both the "must-see" sites and some more offbeat, hidden spots—places off the beaten path.

I’m also not ruling out a little road trip around Kyushu. I still need to look into the details of what to see there.

I need to take a sleeper train from Bangkok to Vientiane in January. I found some ticket options on 12Go Asia, but booking doesn’t seem possible at the moment. I’ve tried simulations for several dates, but no luck. I’m wondering if it’s already fully booked, if they’ve stopped selling tickets… yet 12Go still features it every day 😕

Has anyone else run into this issue? Can I find tickets on another site? (I tried Baolau, but no sleepers left for January 8th.)

We can choose our own excursions and plan to hike Landmannlaugar (June 1) and Hveradalir (May 31). Do you know if they’ll be open by then? We’re hoping so!...

Back to the 4x4—what would you recommend: Toyota Rav4, Dacia Bigster, or Kia Sorento?

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.

For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.

Day 1: Arrival in Hurghada in the evening Day 2, 3, 4: Hurghada Day 5: Hurghada, then drive to Luxor in the early afternoon Day 6: Luxor Day 7: Luxor, then drive back to Hurghada in the late afternoon Day 8, 9, 10, 11: Hurghada Day 12: Return flight

For the Hurghada trip, either rent a car or—easier—a private car/van. Is it worth adding an extra day in Luxor?

During the stay, we’re planning activities like camel rides, quad biking, jeep tours, snorkeling, and jet skiing.
