Et voici encore quelques details, donnés sur un autre site sur
Costa Rica:
welcome........first issue is legal residence, and in order to apply for
residence one must be able to satisfy the government that one is stable, and has
an income so as not to be a potential drag on the local economy.
This allows three categories of legal residence:
1) Pensionado (retired, with a pension for life - at present - of at least US$600 per month; the most common category)
2) Rentista (Each individual must put up some US$60, 000 cash that goes into a
documented account - preferably in a Costa Rican bank - that essentially
guarantees an income of US$1000 per month, for five years.
3) Inversionista (Least common/most expensive category; one has to put up a very
significant amount of money to invest in something to do with either the tourism
industry, or approved reforestation projects)
Et encore: même avec un permis de résidence vous n'êtes pas encore autorisé de travailler (c.à.d. une occupation qui pourrait être prise pare un local)
