Pour étre precis je partirer pour un voyage linguiste ou je sérais accueilli dans un une famille d'accueille.Comme mon voyage est a but linguistique j'aimerais savoir si les habitant de l'Afrique du sud ont en Anglais in accent spécifque, si oui leur acdent se rapproche t'il plus de l'Americain ou de l'Anglais. j'ai été en afrique du sud l'an dernier pour un sejour linguistique (au Cape Communication Centre de Cape Town)
et ça c'est bien passé! par contre j'etais en residence! pour les familles d'accueil plusieurs personnes on du aller en residence car apparement elle etaient mal reçues dans les familles et niveau hygiène c'etait pas top!!
en ce qui concerne le racisme tu n'a pas de souci à te faire si tu vas au Cape car c'est une ville ou il y'a enormément de sud africains blancs. par contre si tu vas à johannesbourg ou prétoria y'a beaucoup de blacks donc le racisme est plus présent.
evite aussi de te balader seul et de trop montrer que tu es un touriste. et ça dans toute l'afrique du sud.
sinon tu as bien raison d'aller en afrique du sud c'est trop bien tu le regretteras pas😉
ah oui comme tu pars en été ne crois pas que parce que c'est l'afrique il va faire chaud. en été c'est l'hiver en afrique du sud (car c'est dans l'hémisphère sud donc les saisons sont inversées) et il caille. (au Cape car c'est sur la côte)
pour l'accent ben...pour les sud africains blancs leur accent et quasiment le même que celui des anglais pour les blacks il se rapproche plus de l'africain (j'aime trop leur accent au blacks)
voila si t'as besoin reposte et je te repondrais avec plaisir je kiffe l'afrique du sud😎
ps : j'ai payé mon billet 1003.78€ pour etre exacte mais je l'ai pris au mois de mai. si tu le prends maintenant ça sera surement moins cher.

En tant qu'un anglophone, je peux confirmer que leur accent est fortement spécifique - on les reconnait aisément à leur façon de parler.
A mon avis leur accent est très agréable. 🙂
Ne t'inquiète pas, je suis certain que là, on enseigne les étudiants ESL à parler avec un accent plus ou moins neutre.

J'ai vu ton message sur le forum et il m'a vraiment intéréssé, je m'appel Nadège j'ai 20 ans et je d'origine antillaise.
J'ai prévu de partir en Septembre 2008 au cap avec surement l'organisme ESL séjour linguistique car pour moi il sont meilleur au niveau rapport qualité/prix.
Le souci est que je parle vraiment trés peu anglais j'ai du mal à me m'exprimer et aussi à comprendre, donc vu que je part seule j'ai un peu peur d'être perdu la bas mais je aussi tres enthousiaste a l'idée d'y aller.
Voila j'avais prévu d'être loger en famille d'accueil, mais j'ai regarder un ptit peu sur le forum et apparement c'est mieux d'être en résidence, pourais tu me donner ton avis à ce sujet.
J'ai aussi prévu d'y rester 5 ou 6 mois pense tu que cela suffit sachant que je vais prendre des cours standard avec l'école pendant toute cette période.

Donc pour répondre à tes questions, d'abord, je suis également partie avec ESL franchement c'est un bon organisme, y'a pas de soucis.
En ce qui concerne l'anglais, j'imagine que t'as des notions d'anglais, au moins assez pour te faire comprendre. Si c'est le cas tu pourras te débrouiller t'inquiète pas... surtout si tu vas dans les résidences (ce que je te conseille fortement)parce que tu trouveras vraiment de TOUT au niveau des origines. Quand j'y étais (moi aussi je suis partie toute seule)y'avait des coréens, brésiliens, soudanais, allemands, suisses et j'en passe. Force est de constater que tu ne seras pas la seule avec des notions d'anglais donc tu pourras qu'améliorer ton anglais . Y'auras surment des francophones.
5 ou 6 mois je pense que c'est largement assez tout dépend de ta progression mais dans un pays anglophone ou tu es amenée à parler anglais la progression se fait assez rapidement. Et puis tu vas commencer avec le niveau intermédiate et tu evouleras au fil des mois. Tu pourras passer des tests quand tu veux pour constater ta progression. Au bout de 6 mois tu devrais atteindre le niveau upper intermédiate voir avancé.
Juste un petit mot sur le logement, je te recommande vivement les résidences parce que dans les familles d'accueil l'accueil et pas top et puis c'est plus simple pour faire des rencontres sortir, visiter le pays quoi!!
