Quito j'ai adoré il y a plein de trucs a faire. C'est la capitale. Ca bouge, il y a des clubs et restos. Entre deux chaines de montagnes, bien joli...
Guyaquil jy suis pas allée mais on m'a dit que c'était très (pour pas dire trop) chaud (direct sur la mer) et que c'était la ville la moins sécuritaire
Ambato et Lactacunga, ce sont des villages près de Quito. Les seules chose que je me rapelles de ces villages c'Est que Ambato c'est supposéement de la que viens le meilleur pain du pays et que au printemps ils font une fiesta spéciale des fleurs et des fruits. Et Lactacunga, c'était la ville par lequelle il fallait passer pour aller voir la laguna dans le creux d'un volcan (splendide mais bon tu restes là 1 ou 2 jours pas plus) Donc beaucoup moins de trucs a faire, beaucoup d'indigèenes parlant quechua et bon.. disons que pour une excusion d'une fin de semaine ca va mais pour rester là a long terme moi je préfère de loin Quito (ou Cuenca). M'enfin, ca dépend aussi ce que tu recherche j'imagine...

oui jpense aussi que Quito pour un séjour prolongé serait plus approprié (meme si je ne recherche pas les boites ou restos branchés qui ne st pas trop mon truc!). La capitale devrait etre le meilleur endroit: entre modernité et tradition (jadore le folklore lol) lidéal.
Tu dis que pour latacunga et ambato on a vite fait le tour cest ça jai pas envie de mennuyer lol! guayaquil tu dis que cest dangereux cest ca mais Quito aussi non ?
partout cest dangereux lorsque la nuit tombe. Suffit de prendre des taxis passé 20h.. et même s'il t'arrive quelquechose le soir, souvent il y a des gardes de sécurité dans les environs qui interviennent et qui disent aux malencontrevenants de déguerpir..

je vais moi aussi m'installer en Equateur en janvier mais sur la cote,
je suis d'accord pour latacunga et ambato, petites villes assez ennuyante,
quito et interressante du point de vue culturelle (cine, expo, etc, , , )
par contre; je trouve que c'est une ville polluee, un peu stressante,
guayaquil est plus cool, et ne m'hérite pas sa reputation dangereuse,
mais pour une fille, ce qui peut sembler penible, c'est le caractere plutot entreprenant des costenos,
dommage que tu ne puisse pas aller a Cuenca, de loin la plus interressante et agreable a vivre,
cote securite, les regles sont les memes de partout : prudence a la nuit tombe....

Moi aussi je te conseille Quito. Au niveau architecture et culture elle est beaucoup plus attrayante mais je dois dire que je ne connais pas vraiment Guayaquil. A part le Malécon 2000, le Cerro Santa Ana et le Parc des Iguanes je ne connais rien d'autre qui soit intéressant à voir (en plus ça tu le fais en un jour).
Guayaquil est une ville très chaude est humide...pas très agréable à mon goût.
Je pense que ton choix devrait aussi dépendre de l'université avec laquelle ta fac est partenaire...
Cuenca de loin m'a le plus plu, mais Quito est aussi une très belle ville, pas si dangereuse que ca (sauf la nuit comme partout). Latacunga et Ambato sont de petites villes, à 3-4h de Quito. Pas grand chose.
J'ai une question moi aussi, qui s'adresse à ceux qui ont pu être assistants de langue, en équateur, et ailleurs: d'après vous, savez-vous quel est le taux d'acceptation du dossier? Et combien il y a chaque année de candidats pour l'Equateur?

Je viens d'avoir un retour du CIEP. Il y a donc au niveau national de l'Equateur 5 postes à pourvoir, répartis ainsi:
Ambato (1), Guayaquil (1), Latacunga (2), Quito (1).
Ils sont disposés dans des universités, le travail de l'assistant est plutôt de faire des cours que d'assister les élèves. 12 heures de cours par semaine, 550$ de rémunération. Le visa est un visa 12-VIII, échange culturel, valable un an (renouvelable). Ca s'annonce bien compliqué tout ca, en espérant qu'il n'y ait pas trop de candidats...
Pour l'agrégation c'est un peu compliqué... je ne sais pas trop comment je vais faire, tout dépend des résultats de chacune des parties. Si je suis reçu à l'agreg, j'espère pouvoir faire le stage au lycée Français de Quito. Sinon, la candidature est là (compliqué aussi comme on le voit). Enfin, je peux demander un visa de tourisme long et entamer des recherches de poste sur place, en tant que migrant. Il reste encore une ou deux solutions de plus, à méditer.
PS: Si tu cherches un billet d'avion pour aller là-bas, évite Air France-KLM ils sont incompétents en plus d'arnaqueurs (j'ai eu de gros soucis avec eux). Moi je viens de trouver un billet aller simple pour Quito (depuis Madrid) pour 358$ (soit 278€) chez Avianca (Air France me propose la même chose à 3300€). Les prix sont excellents, mais il faut éviter le mois de juillet.

Comme toi j'ai fait la demande pour partir en tant qu' assistante de français en Equateur. Après diverses recherches + avis sur différents forums je te conseillerais de choisir Guayaquil et Quito.
Je ne veux pas dire que les villes d Ambato et Latacunga sont inintéressantes mais elles me paraissent moins atractives que les deux premieres côtés activités, célébrations...

Voilà, je suis tombée un peu par hasard sur ce forum et à vrai dire, c'est exactement ce que je cherchais ! On nous parle très peu des postes de lecteur dans ma fac (Bordeaux) et j'aimerais bien en savoir un peu plus si c'est possible... Pour le moment je suis en LEA, je m'aprête à passer ma 3e année en Erasmus en Espagne pour ensuite, à mon retour, réintégrer une 3e année de LCE Espagnol dans le but de pouvoir passer les concours de l'enseignement avec beaucoup plus de facilités (LCE le permet, LEA non :/ ). Après cette 3e année "BIS", j'ai l'idée de partir comme "lectrice" en Amérique du Sud mais je n'ai aucune idée du pays... Alors, mis à part l'Equateur qui paraît être un très bon, j'ai vu la Colombie de proposée, le Vénézuela, le Mexique et le Pérou il me semble, suivant les diplômes qu'ils demandent évidemment. Y'a t'il un pays peut-être plus "sécurisant" que les autres ? Autre chose, je vous vois parler d'agrégation... L'agrégation est-elle obligatoire pour prétendre à l'assistanat ?! Savez-vous s'il y a beaucoup de demandes aussi ? Je me demande car lorsque l'on voit les places (exemple 5 places ici en Equateur ou 6 au Venezuela, y'a de quoi avoir peur... ! ). J'espère que vous pourrez me répondre, j'arrête avec mes questions ! ^^ Et j'espère aussi que vôtre séjour se déroule (ou s'est déroulait ?) à merveille ! :)
