Je suis rentré en France en Juin dernier et puis je suis partie en Corée en septembre puis au Japon où je suis resté un mois et demi chez des amis. J adore ce pays ce qui m'a donné envie d'y retourner et puis de m'inscrire dans une école de langue en plus d'effectuer quelques ptits boulots ( c'est pas si difficile que certains le disent, j ai essayer, il faut juste en vouloir) bref....
Je ne connais pas la Chine mais d'apres ce que je lis tout les jours, ca me fais douter sur le Japon. Car comparer au Japon le cout de la vie est vraiment bas (les salaires aussi😛) mais bon je pense que de nos jours l'étude du chinois serait sans doute plus pertinente que celle du japonais.

Les ecoles de langues sont assez chere et les petit boulots pas tres bien payes. Et comment comptes-tu faire pour avoir un visa (pas de visas, pas de boulots...)

Je connais un peu la Chine et la Coree. La Coree, c'est plus proche du Japon en niveau de vie que de la Chine.
Conclusion: pour la langue: mieux vaut le chinois, pour bosser, le Japon et pour la culture, tout depend de tes preferences
A ta place, je n'aurais pas une seconde d'éhsitation: Tokyo.
Mon feeling, et je pense que tout le mode ne sera pas d'accord:
Une différence fondamentale qui est en fait très significative de l'attitude des gens: il y a autant de foule (si tu n'aimais pas la foule, tu n'irais pas vers l'Asie) à Shanghai qu'à Tokyo. L'écoulement de la foule est différent: à Tokyo, l'écoulement est fluide, on ne se cogne à personne. On peut s'arrêter en plein miieu de la gare de Shinjuku à 8h du matin, le flot est impressionnant mais on n'est touché par personne. En Chine, dans la même foule, on est touché par tout le monde. Tout le monde fonce aveuglément, sans se préoccuper des autres bousculant tout et tous sur son passage. Il faut se battre physiquement pour monter dans un bus.
Un autre aspect est le fait que même si les chinois et les japonais sont très xénophobes, les japonais sont quand même nettement plus ouverts, et donc, parlent nettement mieux l'anglais.
Je pense qu'il est extrêmement difficile de bien parler chinois ou japonais. Mais, à mon sens, arriver à un niveau de base permettant une survie simple au quotidien est plus facile en japonais qu'en chinois: il n'y a pas de tons, et on peut apprnedre à écrire plus facilement les hiragana et les katakana avant de se mettre aux kanji.
Au Japon tout marche à merveille. En Chine, ça marche infniment mieux qu'il y a vingt ans. Mais ce n'est pas encore ça.
Bon, bien sûr, le coût de la vie n'a rien à voir!!!!! Repas de base au Japon 500 Y (4 EUR), repas de base en Chine 10 Y (1 EUR). Et je te parle même pas du logement!!!!

Ton parcours m'intéresse beaucoup et je me reconnais un peu dedans: je vis actuellement à Québec, et j'aimerais vraiment ca découvrir un autre pays, et je penchais justement pour San Francisco (j'ai déjà visité cette ville et je pense qu'il y a vraiment moyen de s'y sentir bien), ou le Japon (complètement différent, je sais bien, mais la culture japonaise m'attire vraiment).
Que peux-tu me dire sur tes 5 mois passé à San Francisco?
Et en ce qui concerne le Japon, est-ce vraiment indispensable de savoir parler japonais (parce que si c'est le cas, je pense que ca simplifiera considérablement mon choix 🤪)? Est-ce facile de se trouver un boulot, ou d'étudier?
