En 2002 et 2003, nous avons passé de belles vacances de deux semaines à Cuba (Club Tryp) et en République Dominicaine (Ocean Bavaro).
Nous voulions répéter cet exploit cette année mais quel ne fut pas notre surprise d'apprendre que la plupart des forfaits maintenant n'acceptent plus la présence de deux enfants dans la chambre avec leur parents.
Faut maintenant louer deux chambres...avec tout les suppléments que ça comporte, environ 30% de plus 😠. Certains clubs comme le Brisas Santa Lucia se sont adaptés avec des chambres exprès pour enfants mais pour la plupart des autres, faut payer comme 4 adultes. Va falloir que je trouve un plan B car notre budget est serré cette année.

J'ai visité le Gran Playa Turquesa fin janvier et pour ce qui est de la literie existante c'est vraiment pour 3 personnes. J'avais la chambre ordinaire et une amie avait la chambre supérieur.... nous avions exactement la même chambre.Elle avait réservé son voyage avec signature de Calgary et moi Transat de Montréal. Il y avait 2 lits simple côte a côte ( il n'a pas de lit queen ) et un un autre lit simple près de la porte patio. Je sais qu'il y avait qqs suites que j'ai pas visité, peut-être qu"ils y avaient plus de possibilité pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants.
Bonne recherche et si jamais vous trouvez .. j'ai une copine qui cherche pour Noël avec 3 enfants.
Moi j'y suis aller au Grand Playa Turquesa le 13 février, moi, mon mari et mes 2 enfants (11 et 13 ans) nous avons eu une chambre pour nous, 2 chambre était exclus, nous n'en voulions pas, nous avons payé pour ma fille de 13 ans, pour mon garcon, je n'ai pas payé l'hotel juste l'avion, nous étions considérer 3 adultes et 1 enfants. Dans notre chambre nous avions un lit double et 2 petits lit simple, les enfants était bien la chambre était spacieuse nous ne nous sommes pas sentie a l'étroie . Mais c, est vrai que tu vas avoir de la difficulter a te loger, quand nous avons commencer les recherches cela a été dur de trouver un forfait pour la famille sans être pris pour pâyé des prix de fou. bonne chance
😉Nous partons à Vadarero le 20 mars prochain avec nos deux enfants âgés de 11 ans et nous n'avons payé que le vol à prix vraiment avantageux, mais nous avons réservé en juillet dernier pour pouvoir profiter de la promotion. C'est une chambre pour quatre.
Les forfaits pour l'été commencent à sortir. Autant chez Air Transat que chez GoTravel Direct, il n'y a que des 7 jours disponibles😠.
L'année dernière, nous étions allé à Akumal sur la Riviera Maya.
En partance de Burlington (beaucoup moins cher que Dorval/PET en passant), on a l'avion, l'auto et un condo avec piscine au bord de la mer dans un coin paradisiaque pour $4400. Ça n'inclu pas la nourriture mais il y a une cuisine dans le condo alors on sauve beaucoup comme ça...la femme de ménage s'occupe de la vaisselle 😉. Le seul défaut de cet endroit est que c'est très très calme et qu'il y avait peu d'enfants.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ??? Bonjour, j'hésite entre deux hôtels de Cayo Coco….soit leMemories Flamingo , soit leMélia Jardines Del Rey…..si quelqu'un connait ces deux hôtels(ou un seul)et qu'il y a séjourné dans la dernière année(car je sais qu'à Cuba l'entretien des hôtels laisse parfois à désirer et que ça change beaucoup d'une année à l'autre), j'aimerais avoir votre opinion(plage, mer , nourriture, état des chambres etc...) merci !...….ou une autre suggestion d'hôtel…..par contre si je choisis Cuba c'est pour la mer...donc ce critère est à retenir...je tiens à une mer translucide merci
