Bonjour, je veux partir fin avril pour Cuba et je pense bien choisir Cayo Guillermo comme destination, car on m'a dit sur ce forum qu'il n'y avait pas de grosses vagues. Pour ceux qui sont allé là-bas, quel est le meilleur hôtel 4 étoiles ou plus et quel hôtel a la plus belle plage? Aussi, pouvez-vous me dire si il y a beaucoup d'algues quand on entre dans la mer ou si le fond est clair. Merci.

Les plages de Cayo Coco ou Cayo Guillermo sont celles qu'il te faut !!! Des grosses vagues ? jamais à moins qu'il y ait une tempête ou un cyclone pas loin. Des algues ? parfois mais rarement et elles sont petites, il y en a plus à Cayo Coco qu'à Cayo Guillermo mais tout est relatif...
Le fond est très très clair, quand il n'y a pas de vent tu croirais que tu es dans un bain !
Comme je t'ai répondu dans ton autre poste, la plus belle plage est selon moi celle du Sol Cayo Guillermo.
Cayo Guillermo, non il n'y a pas de vagues mais il n'y a pas d'eau non plus. Tu dois marcher tres tres loin pour avoir de l'eau aux genoux.
J'ai fais les deux et j'ai préféré de beaucoup Cayo Coco. Il n'y a pas de vagues non plus à Cayo Coco mais tu peux t'amuser dans la mer et tu n'as pas à marcher 1 km avant d'avoir de l'eau à la taille.
Si tu aimes te baigner dans la mer, Cayo Guillermo te decevra au plus haut point à moins que tu ai de jeunes enfants, eux ils s'amuseront sans aucun danger.
bonjour moi je sius aller en 2007 au melia cayo guillermo et jai trouver quil avait beaucoup des algue s devant lhotel environ 25 pieds dans la mer. lamer etait super devant le sol.moi si je retournerait las bas jirait au iberostar daquiri cayo guillermo.
Je suis aller à Cayo Guillermo au Sol et c'était vraiment très bien.
La plage et la mer était super belle. Durant notre semaine nous avons eu quelques jours de mer très calme comme un lac turquoise et 3 jours avec des vagues.
Nous avons aussi visiter Playa Pilar à 2 reprises et même chose la première fois super calme et la 2eme journée avec de belle grosse vague.
Et pour ce qui est des algues tout dépend de la saison
Comme à Santa Lucia en mai 2008 il y avait beaucoup d'algues (J'ai une copine qui y était la première semaine de mai) et moi j'y suis aller en Aout dernier et il y en avait presque pas.
Aussi les algues il faut se dire que c'est la nature, nous ne pouvons pas rien y faire
Il y en a qui paye des prix de fous pour des bain d'algues !!!! go figure!!!!
Moi je te conseil CAyo Guillermo c'est tranquille et je suis certaine que tu vas adoré. Pour les hotels Le Iberostar Daiquiri est très bien 4* ensuite tu as le Melia Cayo Guillermo 4 1/2 qui est très bien et le sol 3 1/2 plus familliale et moi je l'ai bien aimé. C'était en fait mon premier endroit à Cuba que j'ai séjourné.
Si tu veux un hotel pour adulte seulement va falloir que tu ailles vers CAyo coco.
Moi même je vais à Cayo Coco en novembre prochain

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
