Je suis une jeune femme de 28 ans à un tournant de sa vie et qui a besoin d'aide pour prendre des décisions (pas mal hein pour commencer )
Je vis à St Etienne depuis toujours (même si j'ai travaillé quelques mois à Nancy, Montréal, Londres et fait mes études à Lyon et Grenoble) et je suis aujourd'hui à la recherche d'un emploi en ressources humaines.
Je recherche sur toute la moitié sud de la France mais je me rends de plus en plus compte que c'est dans le sud ouest que j'ai envie de vivre (idéalement sur la côte basque ou landaise ).
Etant seule, sans enfant et très motivée, je me dis que c'est peut-être le moment idéal pour m'installer dans la région de France que je souhaite et avec un peu de chance, je rencontrerai mon futur mari là-bas !
Bref, j'ai besoin de votre aide car j'ai une grande hésitation entre les villes de Bordeaux et Toulouse.
Bordeaux m'attire pour sa proximité avec la côte mais j'ai lu que c'était une ville chère où il était difficile de se faire des amis. Toulouse me tente également car elle semble être une ville chaleureuse (et en plus j'adore le rugby !) mais qui en étant proche de tout, n'est finalement proche de rien (montagne, océan, mer).
La distance pour rentrer voir ma famille et mes amis est approximativement la même et le marché de l'emploi, d'après l'APEC est également équivalent dans mon secteur d'activité, c'est pour cela que j'ai besoin de votre aide !
Alors, où souhaiteriez-vous vivre et pourquoi ? Toulouse ou Bordeaux ?

Moi j'ai toujours adoré cette ville, à taille humaine, étudiante donc jeune, bien servi par les transports en commun, près de l'océan, bon climat, entourée de coins magnifiques...et comme tu le vois un chauvisnisme à toute épreuve😛

Ah les préjugés sur la ville bourgeoise du Sud-Ouest, je pense vraiment que c'est une question de feeling.
Tu trouveras autant de c... qu'ailleurs et autant de gens prêt à t'accueillir les bras ouverts.
As-tu été passer du temps dans une ou l'autre, (ou les deux) de ces villes... flairer l'air du temps et déployer délicatement tes antennes ?
Si aucune des deux n'a d'éléments objectifs pour emporter ton choix, y aller au feeling est peut-être un début...
J'ai déjà été en sud ouest en vacances mais jamais dans ces deux villes 😕
J'ai prévu d'aller à Toulouse dans 3 semaines donc je pourrai me faire une première idée !
Mais visiter et y vivre est tout de même différent c'est pour cela que j'aimerais en savoir plus également sur la vie réelle (embouteillages, coût de la vie...)
Alors faut savoir que Bordeaux est une ville très branchée rugby, où les gros matchs de l'Union Bordeaux Bègles se joue au stade Chaban-Delmas, qui fait souvent guichet fermé pour l'occasion (+ de 30 000 personnes).
Côté cout de la vie, je dirais que c'est comme Lyon, toi qui y a vécu. L'hyper-centre est beaucoup trop cher (quoique ya des coups à faire) mais ya moyen de trouver des coins sympas dans le centre ville.
Pour le côté mariage, tu as remarqué Kola, que je ne me suis pas permis de me proposer, ne rentrant pas dans le prototype du rugbyman..😉
Mais ya plein de beaux landais et basques qui vivent à Bordeaux pour les études ou le travail...je dis ça, je dis rien😇
Et comme dis Kola, c'est vrai que passer quelques temps dans les 2 villes, tu donneras peut-être une meilleure idée.
Je connais très bien les deux villes. Bordeaux, tu vas galérer pour t'intégrer, surtout venant de St Etienne, ville où les gens sont plutot chaleureux. Oui, je connais St-é aussi. Les gens sont froids à Bx, distant, il ne mélange jamais leurs amis, c'est dur de s'intégrer en étant étudiant alors quand on travaille, ils ne sont ni sympa, ni franc, ni chaleureux. Je déconseille si tu ne connais personne. Si tu es solitaire, ça pourra te convenir, si tu es plutot sociable, tu ne tiendras pas un an. Le seul avantage, la ville est belle, plus belle que Toulouse.
Toulouse par contre, c'est l'anthithèse, c'est un peu comme Montpellier, la mer en moins. C'est plus simple de s'intégrer et les gens sont plus ouvert. C'est une ville de fete, et animée. A ta place, je n'hésiterais pas. J'ai passé de bonnes années là-bas.
Tiens ça existe toujours le Clubinbox et le Parci Parla à St-E?
Peut-être que l'on reçoit des gens ce que l'on suscite en eux ?

Parmis les villes oú j'ai vécu, 12 au total, deux sont dures d'intégration : Bordeaux, la pire, mais Lyon tallonne.
Les deux plus sympas : Montpellier et Toulouse.

Si tu fais preuve d'autant de morgue d'arrogance et de prétention dans la vie la vraie lorsque quelqu'un émet un avis plus nuancé que le tien... je ne m'étonne pas des difficultés que tu sembles rencontrer.

Je ne pourrai que te donner mon ressenti. J'ai vécu 2ans à Toulouse pour mes études et j'ai adoré!! C'est une ville étudiante très vivante.
J'avais des proches à Bordeaux et je m'y suis rendu très souvent ( il est vrai que je n'y ai pas vécu) mais c'est une ville que je n'ai jamais appréciée. Je dirais que Toulouse est plus cosmopolite que Bordeaux où la grande majorité est originaire de Bordeaux et donc ( selon moi) moins ouverte sur ceux qui viennent de l'extérieur.
Mon fils vit à Montpellier et c'est une ville qu'il aime beaucoup.
Après c'est comme partout suffit parfois de faire de belles rencontres pour voir les choses différemment.

Exactement pareil pour moi: de nombreux séjours dans les 2 villes et je n'ai vraiment pas accroché avec Bordeaux...
C'est du froid et du chaud. Bordeaux est une très belle ville mais mais je n'ai pas ressenti d'énergie, que ce soit architectural ou comportemental. Toulouse est plus avenante, ses habitants semblent accueillants, sa couleur rouge, son accent chantant et son rayonnement me parlent beaucoup plus. Question de ressenti très personnel bien sûr, j'ai des amis bordelais qui ne quitteraient leur ville pour rien au monde !
