Bonjour , je suis en 3ème et je voudrai plus tard être prof de français au états unis , je compte prendre option L au bac mais après le bac je voudrai savoir vers quelle diplome et etudes me diriger parce que je ne pense pas que les études pour être prof de français en France et prof de français au usa soit les mêmes .

Sache que c'est très très difficile, surtout que le français n'est pas une langue "montante" aux Etats-Unis.
Il faudra que tu parles très bien anglais et français, bien sûr, mais aussi espagnol et, de préférence, une 3e langue
recherchée là-bas comme arabe, chinois, ou japonais. Tu devras faire des études aux Etats-Unis après ton bac,
et cela coûte TRES cher. Si tu es admise dans un programme pour futurs profs de langue, les frais sont actuellement
de $40.000 à 60.000 par an, sauf si tu as une bourse. Pour avoir une bourse, tu dois avoir de très hautes moyennes
(à commencer par une mention TB au brevet et en continuant à 13-16 au lycée), bac L anglais option approfondi avec
en options facultatives LV3 et DNL (section euro) de préférence; avoir fait tout le lycée des activités extrascolaires (bénévolat, sport, arts...)
où tu t'es distinguée et as obtenu des récompenses, des stages dans des écoles; avoir le BAFA avec travail en centre aéré
l'été de ta 1e (et sans doute séjour linguistique en immersion à prévoir l'été de ta 2e); préparer le SAT ou l'ACT (pour
les L et les Français en général, l'ACT est plus proche de ce qu'on connait mais ça demande un bon entrainement avec
un manuel de préparation et des tests blancs), passer l'ACT, généralement deux fois, et obtenir un haut score (=27+; 30 c'est
le mieux, la "moyenne" étant à 22); lire "Fiske guide to colleges" ou "Princeton Review's best colleges", lire le site "Colleges
that change lives", et repérer une quinzaine d'écoles qui te disent et où ton score d'ACT te place parmi les meilleurs,
remplir la fiche "request info" et leur demander des brochures, voir s'ils ont des bourses - ça tu peux le faire dès maintenant
d'ailleurs; en août avant ta Terminale voir les sujets des essais de commonapp et écrire son essai, le faire relire
par qqn de qualifié; à l'automne de la terminale, faire ses dossiers, demander des recommandations à ses professeurs;
tout envoyer pour le 1er décembre (date à laquelle les dossiers des meilleures bourses sont à rendre, mais tu peux avoir
jusqu'au 15 janvier dans certains établissements). Ensuite, attendre, et espérer être prise qq part avec une bourse.
Alternative: tu fais ta licence en LLCE anglais ou en LEA espagnol/anglais, tu essaies de faire une année d'échange aux
Etats-Unis, et pendant cette année-là tu fais une demande d'admission pour faire ton Master d'éducation (MAT) aux Etats-unis.
Lors de ta dernière année d'études, tu feras le tour des "Job Fairs"', et il faut espérer que ton université a un bon
"Career Center". Tu passeras des dizaines d'interviews pour voir si tu peux être embauchée. Et après tout ça...
eh bien, être embauchée n'est pas du tout certain. Si tu as un "minor" ou "major" en plus (genre maths ou histoire...)
tu peux toujours essayer avec le lycée de New York, ils ont souvent des postes, mais sinon tu seras en compétition
avec des profs américains qui n'auront pas besoin de visa de travail*, donc tu as intérêt à être devenue une enseignante
de français, espagnol, et LV3, très qualifiée et appréciée.
* Eh oui, les Etats-Unis ne sont pas partie de l'espace Schengen, cette zone de l'Union Européenne et proche qui permet
aux jeunes Européens d"étudier, voyager, et travailler où ils veulent. Donc il te faudra une permission spéciale, d'abord
un visa d'études, ensuite un visa de travail. L'obtention du visa de travail est très difficile sauf compétences particulières
(dont l'enseignement du français peut faire partie, mais généralement il faut un master).
Donc avant tout ça, pourquoi ne pas réfléchir: pourquoi veux-tu enseigner le français aux étrangers? Pourquoi aux Etats-Unis?
Peux-tu faire quelque chose de similaire ailleurs? Si tu veux aller aux Etats-Unis, pourquoi ne pas commencer par préparer
une année en high school avec départ après ta 2e si tu es très impatiente et assez mûre, ou après ton bac sinon (il y a
plein de messages sur le sujet sur le forum, utilise la fonction recherche) et vois si ce projet te plait toujours?

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
