Hi there, I made my bungalow reservations in Kruger Park through Sanparks. I’ve sent several emails but never gotten a response from them. It’s not possible to reach them via WhatsApp, and calling them costs an arm and a leg 😱. Have you had the same experience with Sanparks? Their website is pretty well done—they boast about giving the best care to questions people ask them, but when it comes to email responses... it’s a ghost town 😕

I won’t be much help, but I’ve never needed to contact them despite my many bookings.

What’s your issue with them?

Same as RJulie. When requesting a refund due to a modification or cancellation, SanParks responds relatively quickly, and refunds are always processed within 3 weeks. Why contact them?

My issue is that I had a reservation modified with the help of a South African on-site, because I wasn’t getting any response by email. After that, I wanted to know when they’d refund the overpayment, and again, I sent several emails trying different addresses, including to SANParksInternationalRefunds@sanparks.org, but so far, no replies.

Yet on the corrected invoice I was able to download from my Sanparks account, it clearly states there are no modification fees, since, I think, my change was made well over 30 days before the arrival date.

Thanks Jean Pierre for the link to your blog. I found your description of your trip through Kruger Park, but not any mention of the administrative difficulties I’m currently facing with this apparent armada of reservation service officers! There are probably a lot of them, but when it comes to responding to reservation changes... it’s like talking to a brick wall 🤪. Feels just like dealing with French immigration services... 🏴‍☠️

Try posting a message on their forum. That’s what I did after countless emails went unanswered following my reservation changes.

I was immediately contacted by a forum administrator who put me in touch (by email) with someone from the refunds department. Everything was resolved very quickly after that.
