Bon pour ouvrir un compte à Mayotte pas de probleme il y a deux ou trois banques differentes rien qu'en petite terre.
Pour retirer de l'argent avec la carte c'est plus compliqué et il faudrait vous renseigner à votre agence car normalement avec une carte normal on ne peut retirer que une certaine somme par semaine (tres tres chiant au debut surtout qu'en on arrive et qu'on a souvant besoin de liquide...). Par contre si vous ouvrez un compte dans une banque sur place et que vous demandez une carte de retrait la pas de probleme ;)
Pour payer le loyer par chèque pas de probleme par contre pour payer les courses au super marché ayez votre carte nationale d'identité ou passeport pour que la caissiere puisse y noter (y noter quoi tien?) vos reférences au dos du chèque... EDF s'appel EDM et on peut aussi les payer en chèque... l'eau pareil... les factures aussi oui.

Restez à votre banque alors et pour les chèque pas de probleme particulier ils sont accepté. Pour hausser le seuil de retrait sa j'en sais rien et puis je crois aussi que ca dépend de la carte banquaire aussi. Pour le paludisme et bien il suffit de ne pas se faire piquer par les moustiques tout le temps... bon au début c'est sur vous vous ferez beaucoup piquer mais par la suite ca ira et meme si vous vous protégez bien... pantalon long... chaussure fermé... t shirt manche longue... alors la pas de probleme. Dans le cas ou vous attrapez tout de meme cette maladie en petite terre il y a un docteur spécialisé dans les maladie tropicales et deux pharmacies.

A 600 ou 700 euros ca me semble faisable oui sans probleme... Chercher depuis la métropole? Le mieu ca serai de contacter vos collègues qui sont deja en poste à Mayotte ils pourront surement vous trouver un logement. Mais sinon je vois pas trop... le mieu c'est d'etre sur place et de chercher des le début... comme ca en plus ca fait visiter... peut etre y a t'il des agences immobiliers que vous pouvez contacter aussi...
Pour le chien sachez que les gens la bas ne les aiment pas du tout... d'aileur j'ai un voisin qui est venu avec trois chien il est reparti avec un seul... de plus beaucoup de gens quand ils partent abandonnent leur chien je pense car en fait ils y en a beaucoup qui airent dans les rues. En fait si votre chien est un petit toutou qui reste à la maison devant la télé il n'y a pas de risque pour lui mais pas contre si c'est un gros chien qui cherche toujours à s'enfuir alors la il y a des risques pour qu'un jour il ne revienne pas. Autre probleme qui peut peu etre se pauser c'est celui du transport en avion... renseignez vous... prix etc... parce que la je peu pas vous aider.
Moi je compte revenir à Mayotte bien sur si un jour j'en ai l'occasion.

Mar del Plata en Argentine, est le paradis des toutous (les chiens quoi), c’est un peu comme en Inde (pour les vaches). Il y en a partout !!! Toujours biens dodus, respectés, chouchoutés, en totale liberté (en effet, ce n’est pas Paris). On a souvent une vision stéréotypée du pays « pauvre » avec un chien maigre errant… ici c’est tout le contraire, ce sont des seigneurs, ou des « assistés ».
Il faudra vous y faire, il n’est pas rare dans le centre ville de devoir enjamber un toutou pour entrer dans un restaurant, non ce n’est pas le toutou du propriétaire et ne comptez pas sur le propriétaire pour le chasser… il y perdrait, par ce geste malheureux les trois quarts de sa clientèle ! En Europe, le pauvre animal aurai déjà reçu un coup de pied dans le c… ou il aurait été embarqué par la fourrière ; Ici il recevra une couverture, et s’il n’est pas trop bien, les voisins de la rue et du quartier se cotiseront pour lui payer le vétérinaire.

Je ne sais pas si je serais d'une grande aide mais je suis mahoraise et je vis en metropole depuis quelques années.
Concernant les chiens, les gens ne les détestent pas, ils en on tout simplement peur dans la plupart du temps (je ne suis moi même pas toujours rassurés en présence de chiens: j'ai été mordu par le chien d'amis de mes parents alors qu'eux prétendaient qu'il était trés gentil), par ailleurs, la population est en grande partie musulmane et donc "ils ne doivent pas toucher les chiens" et troisiemement, beaucoup de personnes abandonnent leurs chiens quand ils quittent l'île et certains les dressent contre les noirs ( pour les vols). En tout cas je connais pleins de gens qui ont des chiens et il n'ya pas de problème particulier.
Concernant le chéquier: j'avoue que cet été, c'était trés dur de faire mes courses voir impossible, j'étais toujours obligé de demander de faire un chèque à mes parents pour qu'ils me donnent du liquide car dans la plupart des commerces, impossible de payer avec mon chéquier, les retrais étaient aussi difficile. Mais la situation ne doit pas être pareils si vous pouvez présenter une attestation de domicile à mayotte. je ne sais pas si tout est trés clair mais j'espère que cela vous aidera a y voir mieux.
