j'ai terminé mon bacc ici au Québec, il y a un an et je regarde pour aller enseigner en France. Est-ce que c'est possible, je sais qu'il y a beaucoup d'échanges entre le Canada et la France pour les jeunes, mais c'est surtout la disponibilité de l'emploi en France qui m'inquiète. Est-ce qu'il y a beaucoup de postes ? de possibilités ? faut-il faire du remplacement quotidiennement? Est-ce qu'il y a possiblité d'avoir un poste, de faire du remplacement prolongé ? en banlieue la situation ressemble à quoi, est-ce que c'est la même chose qu'à Paris ? J'ai fait une recherche sur internet, mais je ne trouve rien qui répond réellement à mes questions.
J'aimerais déménager en France pour une année et y travailler, enseigner le plus possible... Ça se fait? est-ce qu'il faut une reconnaissance de la France pour enseigner?

bref, je vais plutôt attendre tes réponses pour te répondre de façon plus précise...
Pour le bac, je voulais parler du baccalauréat c'est le diplôme universitaire, donc vers 19-20 peut-être. Après mon secondaire (jusqu'à 16 ans), j'ai fait un diplôme pré-universitaire et ensuite j'ai été à l'université en enseignement primaire et préscolaire. Mes expériences comme enseignante et bien j'ai, en ce moment, un contrat de quelques mois dans une classe de 6ème année en anglais intensif. J'ai aussi quelques années d'expérience comme remplaçante au primaire. C'est long pour se placer ici.. ça peut prendre quelques années avant d'avoir un poste permanent, et d'ici là c'est de la suppléance, des fois des remplacements prolongés et finalement des contrats de quelques mois.
Donc ici, j'ai un diplôme et un brevet me permettant d'enseigner au primaire à des élèves âgés de 5 à 12 ans. Est-ce qu'en France il y a une pénurie d'enseignants.. bon ok :) c'est un gros mot.. mais est-ce qu'il semble en manquer? J'aimerais beaucoup y enseigner quelques temps. Ìci, quand on arrive dans la commission scolaire (regroupement de différentes écoles d'un même secteur) on commence par faire de la suppléance et remplacer au jour le jour dans les écoles qui nous appellent. Des fois, on a des contrats de suppléance un peu plus long et si on est chanceux, on peut signer un contrat pour quelques mois. Mais bon!!! Même si je suis à l'emploi de la commission scolaire, je peux très bien rester chez nous, ne rien faire et ne pas être payer. C'est pas super! Mais ça c'est lorsqu'on fait de la suppléance et en ce moment j'ai un contrat, donc je travaille à tous les jours.
Comment ça fonctionne en France ? et surtout, comment ça pourrait fonctionner pour quelqu'un comme moi qui désire enseigner là-bas!

Juste pour la compréhension, tu as un baccalauréat québécois, ici c'est une Licence (qui s'obtient après trois années d'université)
En France, pour être instituteur (ou professeur des écoles, c'est le juste mot), il faut passer un concours (celui de l'IUFM) pour ensuite avoir une formation une fois qu'il est réussi etc. Il y a un quota chaque année.

Pour être enseignant en france tu prépares un concours (IUFM) et si tu le réussis, ensuite tu es sure de travailler et d'être rémunérée. Donc dans ce cas là en france si tu veux être prof des écoles tu dois tenter le concours (qui es difficile, puisque "concours" !) Les places sont chères comme tu peux l'imaginer, beaucoup de jeunes passent le concours plusieurs années avant d'obtenir le statut de professeur des écoles ou ... de renoncer !
sinon tu peux faire des remplacements, mais là encore j'ai bien peur d'être plutôt pessimiste !
il y a des brigades d'interventions (c'est leur nom : ça désigne des enseignants qui ne font que des remplacements de très courtes, quelques heures sur une journée ; courtes : 2 jours ; ou longues durées : 1 semaine) qui se déplacent par zone au sein d'un département.
ensuite tu as l'enseignement dans le privé, en effet tu peux postuler directement auprès des directeurs d'écoles. et là n'hésites pas à te déplacer et à frapper à toutes les portes.
sinon, c'est différent de ce que tu veux mais, ...., comme visiblement tu as un bon niveau en anglais, tu peux essayer de donner des cours d'anglais en école primaire (privé et publique), certes cela ne représentera pas beaucoup d'heures ni de quoi vivre financièrement, mais tu auras une expérience, et si tu réussis à le faire dans plusierus écoles (c'est possible), ton nombre d'heures d'intervenante sera + élevé et la rémunération avec ;)
enfin pour répondre à ta dernière question, non il n'y a aucune "pénurie" de profs, c'est tout à fait le contraire, il y a des milliers d'étudiants chaque année qui présentent le concours pour être prof des écoles et qui, le ratant, tentent de faire des remplacements à pied levé en attendant de repasser le concours.

Je crois que si le membre qui pose la question est de nationalité canadienne, les informations sur le parcours pour devenir fonctionnaire français sont superflue, cela lui sera simplement impossible.
Les statuts de contractuels de l'Etat, pour enseigner par exemple dans le privé ça va aussi être très difficile, je n'ose dire impossible, mais je le pense.
Restent les établissement de stricte droit privé, les instituts privés, les boîtes à bac, les école de langue privées... Là des possibilités doivent exister.
Oui c'est ce que nous pourrions penser
mais dans la pratique de nombreux étrangers travaillent dans les établissements scolaires en s'appuyant sur leur connaissance et pratique d'une autre langue (anglais surtout, mais aussi dans le 2ème degré : italien, espagnol et allemand).
Maintenant en effet je ne sais pas comment les formalités sont faites ou à faire, donc à ce niveau là je ne suis d'aucune aide.
