J'ai appris il y a quelques jours que j'ai été acceptée pour partir un semestre à la School of Social Science à Universiti Sains Malaysia à Penang, en Malaisie. Bien sûr je dois encore attendre que l'université d'accueil accepte mon dossier, mais je ne pense pas que cela posera problème, d'autant plus que je suis la première étudiante de mon université à partir dans le cadre de cette convention.
Donc voilà, j'aurais quelques questions. J'ai déjà un peu parcouru le forum mais je n'ai trouvé personne ayant vraiment fait des études en Malaisie et qui parlait de ce qui m'intéressait (ou alors je suis nulle avec le moteur de recherche, ce qui est aussi une possibilité lol)
Je partirais le semestre d'automne 2011, ce qui apparemment correspond à la période juillet-décembre pour les universités malaysiennes. Je ne suis jamais allée en Malaisie et j'aurais voulu avoir quelques petites informations, notamment au niveau du climat (est-ce que la mousson a lieu en octobre-novembre comme au Cambodge?), quel est le coût de la vie en dollars ou euro ou francs suisses parce que je connais pas trop la monnaie locale ;-)
J'adore l'Asie et je compte m'installer dans un pays asiatique, préférablement Asie du Sud Est à la fin de mes études cad début 2012, si jamais vous avez des conseils ou suggestions. Je suis titulaire d'un bachelor en sciences sociales et politiques et actuellement en master en sociétés plurielles: culture, politique et religions, option diversité sociale et identité culturelle. Je sais que le nom ne veut rien dire, mais en gros c'est des sciences sociales. Dans l'idéal j'aimerais travailler au sein d'une ONG, le top du top serait un organisme occidental afin d'être un peu mieux payée mais ce n'est pas le plus important pour moi.
Je suis déjà allée en Asie (Inde et Cambodge) et comme j'ai étudié aux USA on peut presque dire que je suis billingue francais-anglais.
Donc voilà, si qqun a des infos sur la Malaisie ou des conseils pour mes futurs voyages/établissement en Asie, c'est avec plaisir que je vous lirais!
Il n'y a pas de mousson proprement dite comme au Cambodge sur la côte ouest de la Malaisie, novembre est cependant le mois le plus pluvieux.
C'est un climat tropical très serein, pas de typhon, ouragans ou autres, les averses sont courtes et éparses, depuis que j'habite en Malaisie je n'ai jamais eu un jour de pluie complet. Contrairement à la Suisse la température varie très peu entre 28°-32° tout au long de l'année, de même pour la nuit ou la température ne chute que d'un petit°.
Je me baigne aussi dans une eau à 28° tous les jours de l'année.😉
Pour le coup de la vie c'est tout relatif dépends tes habitudes, mais si tu compare à la Suisse un repas équilibré pris dans une gargote de rue c'est 4.- CHF, en gros tu divises tout par 4 voir + tout dépends le bien. La monnaie local est le RM Malaysian Ringgit. 1.-CHF= ~3.-RM
Pour un ordre d'idée prix, logement etc... regarde ICI c'est l'équivalent de votre Ricardo suisse.
Lors de ton séjour tu ne manqueras pas de visiter les Cameron Isl et tu t'arrêteras boire le thé tarik à Ipoh ou je réside.
Sinon il a pleins de possibilités de visites et si tu pratique comme moi la plongée sou-marine c'est un vrai aquarium. 😎
