L'expatriation n'a pas de "périodes" plus favorable que d'autres, ceci en réponse à ta question, "de nos jours"
C'est ton chemin de vie, et si tu le sens ainsi, lance-toi :) car il vaut mieux vivre sa vie que de la rêver (St Ex)
Par contre, avant de faire tes papiers, "officiellement" commences par y passer un peu de temps, voir quelques mois, tu es en zone "Europe" donc pas les mêmes contraintes administratives que pour un autre pays du monde…

Ayant beaucoup voyagé, et "m'étant beaucoup "expatrié" le conseil que je peux donner à des chercheurs d'emploi, c'est qu'il faut être un minimum caméléon, c'est à dire apporter une réponse à un besoin dans un emploi, que l'on a pas forcément déjà excercé, et aussi, dans l'éventualité, être prêt à créer son propre emploi (on n'est jamais aussi bien servi que par soi-même)
Le médical est vaste, tu devrais nous préciser ta formation ou dans quelle branche tu voudrais exercer si tu veux être conseillée.
Pour l'immobilier, je ne peux te conseiller, n'étant pas aux Açores, mais d'autres co-listiers le pourront certainement. Selon ce que j'en sais, par des amis portugais, ce serait moins cher qu'en france…

Salut si tu touches le chômage français tu peux le toucher aussi dans un autre pays de la CEE soit dit en passant.

C'est une excellente initiative que de réaliser ses rêves et je te souhaite tout le meilleur.
Pour ma part je me suis installé aux Açores ( São Miguel ) il y a un peu plus de deux mois. Et au niveau du travail dans ta branche tu n'as pas de souci à te faire et je pense que le meilleur serait d'ouvrir ton propre cabinet.
Pour ce qui est de l'immobilier tu peux trouver des maisons entre 80'000 Euros à 300'000 Euros en moyenne pour ce qui est de São Miguel.
Pour la langue c'est sur qu'il faut t'y mettre déja maintenant, ton expatriation n'en sera que facilitée.
Au niveau administratif c'est simple tu feras tout sur place en commençant par obtenir ton " Cartão de contribuinte " environ 6 Euros.. pour les impots etc... l'endroit s'appelle " Financas " ensuite aller à la municipalité " Câmara Municipal " pour faire la demande pour une autorisation de 5 ans Autour des 20 Euros... et c'est tout...

j4ai vecu pendant 3à ans aux Açores et je peux t'assurer que dans ton domaine professionnel aucun probleme pour trouver du boulot!!
Je suis actuellement à S.miguel jusqu'au 12 aout, on peut se rencontrer!!!
Je vois que le poste date depuis un bout de temps, mais j'espère tout de même avoir une petite réponse simple.
Savez vous si il existe une branche psychomotricité ou paramedicale aux Açores ? et si oui pensez vous qu'il y est du travail dans ce domaine ?
Difficile de te répondre, car je ne connais pas ce secteur. La seule chose que je puisse te dire, c'est que les Açores coté médecine sont assez en retard, aucune homéopathie disponible sur place, ni aromathérapie et la phyto, ce n'est que celle du marketing de la diététique (je parle de l'île principale de Sao Miguel) et dans les pharmacies, le personnel ignore même ce que c'est !
Les Açores ont pu se développer et se structurer un peu grâce aux importantes aides de l'UE au titre du désenclavement soit 11% du budget brut de l'UE…
Peut-être du coté de cliniques privées…
Je voudrais ajouter aussi que la vie aux Açores est difficile, le climat n'est pas très agréable, vent, pluie et peu de soleil hormis quand tout va bien les mois d'été, à condition de ne pas subir les tempêtes tropicales (3 l'année dernière)
L'administration est moyenâgeuse est rébarbative, et avec la crise, les services fiscaux très actifs ces derniers mois…
Quasiment rien en bio ou hors de prix, voir plus du double que Suisse ou France… J'ai passé un an sur cet archipel, et je ne le conseillerais pas.
Le vol est monnaie courante, et vous comprendrez le pourquoi de grands murs et de chiens partout. Les "étrangers" comprendre européens non portugais sont particulièrement visés… Autrement dit, vivre à l'année n' a rien à voir avec un séjour agréable dans de bonnes conditions, sauf à fermer les yeux sur la pollution et le non respect local de l'environnement (ils jettent tout par terre, plastique, bouteilles etc qaubnd ce n'est pas à même des cours d'eau, saletés que l'on retrouve sur les plages ensuite) Les OGM officiellement sont interdits mais j'ai vu du maïs OGM cultivé ici, et les doses d'engrais chimiques sont au maximum… Beaucoup de retard donc de ce coté la aussi, un seul petit producteur (pas tout à fait) bio !
Et ceux qui pensent qu'ils ne ne traitent pas se trompent, même pour un simple jardin, c'est Rundop et engrais chimiques…

Merci Strato pour tous ces point abordé, il est intéressant de lire ce genres de points de vues qui n’ont pas leur place dans un guide touristique.
Hors il y a d'autres avantage que je pense pouvoir trouver, je me ferais bien une idée une fois sur place, mais je te crois sur parole pour le reste coté administratif ou bio local etc.
J'ai vécu 11 ans au Canaries et suis bien habituer au mode de vie sur les iles, je pense donc m’intégrer sans trop de dificulter. A la base je visait surtout Sao Jorge ou Flores mais ma copine étant en psychomotricité nous voulions déjà voir ce qui ce fesai dans un premier temps sur Sao miguel dans ce domaine.
Combien de temps à tu vécu labas Staro ? Quel est la chose qui ta le moins plus sur cet ile ?

Les Açores seront notre première étape.
Aurais tu des renseignements à me donner sur la vie là-bas en général et aussi plus particulièrement au niveau de la scolarité. Nous avons 2 filles de 4 et 6 ans et souhaitons les scolariser dans les écoles locales que nous rencontrerons. Ici, en Bretagne, elles sont à l'école Diwan en immersion breton.
As tu aussi des renseignements au niveau de la médecine pratiquée?
Autre point important: la météo. Nous sommes dans l'agriculture: mon mari éleveur porcin et moi maraîchère. Nous souhaitons dans un 1er temps trouver un emploi salarié si c'est possible (et sur quelle île en particulier?) puis, si l'endroit nous plais alors nous installer et monter une ferme maraîchère et petit élevage de porcs (en bio de préférence).
Bon c'est peut être tous pour l'instant.

Vu la conjoncture, déjà que c'est hyper recherché par les natifs, ce ne sera pas facile, sauf si tu as un plus à apporter, mais je te rappelle que l'équivalent du SMIC la-bas c'est 450 € dans le meilleur des cas (avant la crise, aujourd'hui il y a même des emplois à 4€ de l'heure) , donc, surtout, ne pas rêver…
