Suite à une mobilité professionnelle de mon conjoint, nous devons emménager à Sao Paulo dans quelques mois.
Nous avons 4 enfants âgés de 1an, 13, 14 et 16 ans.
Je recherche des témoignages et des conseils de français expatriés à Sao Paulo afin de nous aider à préparer matériellement et psychologiquement notre installation.
Des conseils sur le lieu et le type de logement par exemple, sur le coût de la vie, sur la santé, la sécurité...
Nous ferons les démarches pour scolariser nos enfants dans le lycée français. J'ai constaté que le calendrier scolaire brésilien est décalé par rapport au notre et mon fils doit passer son BAC l'an prochain, comment gérer cela?

L'année scolaire démarre le 1er février et s'achéve le 1 décembre....vacances d'été en decembre et janvier et d'hiver en juillet ( 1 mois)...
ensuite prévoir un budget de 7000 reals par mois pour vivre correctement avec 4 enfants....un appartement selon surface, emplacement, prestation se trouvera dans une zone de prix de 1500 à 2500 réals.

Dépend ou votre mari travaille pour choisir le quartier. j'habitais l'avenue Paulista.avec la rue Augusta.quartier sympa.
Pour l'appartement si votre comité d'accueil Brésilien de votre Société fait rien.
La méthode:il faut plus ou moins parler Portugais.
voir les portiers des immeubles .en général ils sont toujours au courant
des appartements libres, du propriétaire ect....
il faut ètre exigent!
le côut de vie est sensiblement la moitié de la France.peut être encore moins.
rapprochez vous de l'alliance Française.
voir le routard.
vous êtes à 120 km de Santos et Guaruja.
40 minutes de Rio par le pont aérien.
il existe une école Française.
la sécurité:votre immeuble est gardé 24h/24 avec serrures de sécurités à l'entrée
caméra de surveillance dans le hall 24/24

Merci pour tous ces détails. Je pense qu'il sera préférable de s'installer près du lycée français. Quel quartier vous semble le plus agréable à vivre? Dans l'idéal, j'aimerais un coin calme et vert pour pouvoir souffler un peu après une journée dans cette mégapole! Nous avons un bébé et des promenades au vert ce serait sympa aussi!
L'avenue Paulista n'est-elle pas la plus chère au monde? Auquel cas... oups... avec 4 enfants, le budget ne suivra pas.
Quand vous dites "c'est pas la France", justement quelles sont les grosses différences auxquelles il faudra se préparer?
L'avenida Paulista est sans intérêt, c'est une avenue de quartier d'affaire avec building de banque qui se déserte le soir dés 18 H....ensuite selon son budget, on peut envisager de s'installer dans les quartiers touchant le centre...
Comme toute grande ville, la pollution est présente dés la fin d'après midi, lorsque que la chaleur et l'absence de vent concentre les nuages toxiques sur la ville. L'illusion des parcs et de leur verdure ne remplacera pas une maison dans la verdure à 30 kms du centre de SP question oxygéne et selon on l'on va travailler c'est peu être une option plus intéressante que se mettre en coeur de ville...
Pour une installation à côté du lycée français (Vila Mariana), un appartement de 100 m2 se trouve dans un budget moyen de 2000 R$

Je ne peux pas trop vous renseigner car le projet ne s'est pas fait. Cela étant, il me semble que les problèmes d'insécurité sont parfois exagérés et qu'il suffit de prendre des précautions pour éviter les problèmes. Nous sommes allés récemment passer des vacances dans l'état de Bahia et n'avons eu aucun désagrément.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
