Voila une nouvelle petite famille française qui vivra bientôt à Pondicherry. Nous sommes en couple avec un petit garçon qui a 1 ans et nous prevoyons de nous installer à Pondicherry pour du long terme à partir de Mars prochain. Nous avons une entreprise en France et avons fait le choix de nous installer en Inde pour nous rapprocher de nos collaborateur et par choix de vie (nous connaissons déjà Pondicherry où nous avons déjà passé 6 mois).
Nous arriverons avec un visa touriste, mais sauriez vous comment nous pourrions obtenir un permis de sejourner en Inde?
DEs parents avec enfant en bas âge sauraient-ils m'indiquer les coordonnées d'un bon médecin (pédiatre?) parlant un minimum français?
Quelqu'un aurait-il éventuellement des bons plans de location de maison?

Vous avez assez peu de solutions pour obtenir un visa en Inde, vous pouvez soit demander un Business Visa mais il vous faut une entreprise en France et un correspondant en Inde qui a sa propre entreprise. Soit demander un Entry Visa en tant que résident à Auroville mais il faudra y vivre. Enfin, le plus compliqué étant d'obtenir un visa de travail pour lequel vous devrez au préalable avoir été recruté par une entreprise indienne avec un contrat de travail et bcp de patience. Dans tous les cas il faudra faire ces demandes de visas depuis la France, il est impossible de faire changer son visa touriste en Inde pour autre chose.
Le site http://www.vfs-in-fr.com/french/index.aspx est très complet quant aux formalités à accomplir.
Le tout c'est de ne pas oublier que ce n'est pas hyper simple mais ce n'est pas impossible et surtout c'est bcp plus facile que pour un indien qui voudrait venir s'installer en France !
Pour les locations de maison à Pondi et bien je suis en pleine recherches alors... Pour le moment je ne sais pas quoi vous conseiller, il faut être sur place anyway. Bon courage et à bientôt. 😉
Concernant le Visa, Alex a raison c'est impossible de changer un visa ici, a pondicherry.
Moi je suis qqun d'origine indienne (pondi) qui habite en France.. je travaille pour une boite francaise et des fois je viens en inde en mission pour mon boulot.. et deja il nous faut le business visa avec l'ordre de mission etc
Vu que je suis indien a la base, j'ai le droit d'un visa a vie (carte OCI) et l'Entry visa
Alex.. je pense que l'entry visa est valable que pour les personnes d'originne indien ( a confirmer).. sinon qvec un visa tourist vous avew un droit de multiple entry pour un an.
Et pour le location d'un maison.. je peux vous aider.. mais je ne peux vous rien assuer.. attention je ne suis pas un agent d'immo.. je suis a pondicherry pour passer mes vacances..

Je pensais deja au visa employment mais pour ça faudrait que je connaisse une entreprise indienne qui pourrait me faire une lettre de mission, éventuellement ça c'est possible pour moi, mais je crois qu'il y a un petit hic, si quelqu'un saurait me confirmer, mais je crois que l'entreprise en question est alors tenue de prouver qu'elle m'emploi effectivement, déjà à un poste qui ne pourrai être occupé par un indien, ça reste réalisable jusque là, mais en plus elle doit justifier de mon salaire il me semble, donc pas de poste "fictif" possible!
Je me demande comment font les français installés en Inde? Ils monte leur propre business, limited company par exemple, et se font donc eux même la lettre de mission pour embassade en france?
Sinon, pour le businees visa, gros inconvénient, on est vraiment obligé de quitter trop souvent le pays, et ça avec mon fils qui a tout juste 1 an...pas possible!
Je ne peux me résigner non plus a prendre des visas touriste pour rester que 6 mois à chaque fois et devoir en rester 2 en France!!dur dur.....mais je me décourage pas, je trouverai bien une solution...autre que Auro ville en tout cas!...J'ai rien contre Auroville, mais j'ai mes propres convictions dans la vie et elles sont vraiment libres de tout dogme.
Pour les maisons j'ai peu être déjà quelque plan mais si vous avez des contacts ou autres je suis toujours intéressé.

Ou en ètes vous de votre installation en Inde ? Quel est votre métier ou votre qualification en France ? Pour l'employment visa, ce n'est pas impossible. Mais il faut un salaire de base élevé (25 000 dollars par an je crois), ou alors travailler pour une ONG (ou tout au moins travailler à titre gracieux). Peut être que votre qualification en France pourrait intéresser une ONG en Inde ? Je suis médecin et c'est ce que j'ai fait pour pouvoir rester en Inde plus longtemps. Je ne gagne pas un sou, mais j'ai un visa pour un an. Au bout d'un an, il est plus simple de prolonger ce visa. Sinon regardez bien sur les formulaires de visa, il me semble que les professeurs de français peuvent aussi avoir un visa de travail. Et il est probable que vous n'avez pas besoin d'avoir de diplome pour enseigner le français en Inde.
Si vous obtenez ce visa, alors votre mari peut tout simplement demander un visa d'entrée pour vous suivre. Simplement je ne sais pas s'il est possible de faire du business avec un visa de travail. Mais a priori tout est possible en Inde ...

Actuellement entrepreneur dans l'immobilier, transport, je cherche un(e) associé(e) / partenaires/ fondation pour un projet dans l'agriculture donc je suis propriétaire de 10 hectares de terrain.

5) Construire des logements gratuits pour expatriés à la retraite en échange de leurs participations gratuite dans leurs domaines respectives.
Ceci étant un projet dont j'y crois , j'invite toutes personnes intéressées à apporter une touche personnelle, sous la forme d'un conseil, une orientation et enfin une implication.
NB: projet à l'échelle nationale et internationale au niveau de l'emplois.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
