J'ai 23 ans, ma femme 25 et ma fille 1 an et demi.
Nous sommes désireux d'attendre que notre fille soit en age d'aller à la maternelle pour partir.
Nous vivons dans un appartement logé à titre gratuit (donc un pied à terre en métropole si ça se passe mal là bas) et avons deux travail à temps plein.
Voilà le résumé de notre situation actuelle.
Nous aimerions avoir des conseils pour partir en toute sérénité. Est ce une île facile à vivre au quotidien (travail, établissement scolaire, prix de la vie, délinquance...) ??
Comme démarche administrative, n'y a t'il qu'un changement d'adresse ou le fait de partir de la métropole engendre d'autres papiers ?

C'est un beau projet de vouloir partir au soleil. Pour venir ici il faut avoir du travail car venir sans c'est un peu risqué.
Concernant les enfants, il y a bien entendu des écoles publiques et des privées, ces dernières prennent les enfants plus tôt comme une garderie moyennant au minimum 300-400 euros par mois. Les logements sont assez chers 600-700 euros pour une chambre, 800-900 pour 2 chambres et environ 1200 pour une maison trois chambres (ce sont des prix estimatifs ceux que je connais...). La nourriture est aussi plus chère, mais il y a des améliorations et il faut profiter du taux du dollard pour faire ses courses du côté hollandais (1e=1,30$ en ce moment).
C'est un très belle île ou les we sont des vacances. Il faut évidement faire attention à la délinquance qui existe mais si tu vie normalement en harmonie avec toutes les cultures car ici c'est très cosmopolite, çà ira. Pas de démarche administrative à part un changement d'adresse.

Je confirme ce que dit Bahiadragon même si j'y ai vécu il y'a longtemps (17 ans) la vie y est TRES chère (logement/bouffe/loisirs) et vous avez intérêt à avoir un bon boulot/salaire avant d'y arriver. L'île est très belle pour un séjour touristique mais j'en garde un mauvais souvenir de vie au quotidien à part les plages rien à faire, les restos et boutiques sont fait pour les touristes, les français de métropole vivent en cercle fermé c'est pesant et la délinquance y était très forte(vols avec violence, cambriolage, agressions, ...), l'île pour riche attire toute la misère des Caraïbes (St domingue/Haïti) avec de gros problèmes de drogues qui créent un climat malsain d'insécurité et des ghettos riches/pauvres, bien choisir l'endroit où vous allez loger.... J'ai tenu 8 mois et j'ai fui 😄

J'ai voulu quitter cette ile pendant une année pour rentrer en Metropole, et bien je vous assure que je prefere "l'insécurité" d'ici que celle de la France!
