Donc j'aimerai partir en Inde car j'aime ce pays donc j'aimerai apprendre l'anglais sur place en même temps car je suis nule en anglais. Vous me direz au tant aller dans un pays anglo-phone. Mais je souhaiterai allier mon amour de l'Inde et apprendre l'anglais. Donc je souhaiterai trouver un petit boulot sur place en tant que fille au pair dans une famille française. Voilà j'ai l'aire très exigente mais en fait je ne veux pas aller là bas à l'arache sans savoir où je vais. Donc merci de m'informer! je ne sais pas si je suis claire! d'abord, l'Inde ce n'est pas le pays idéal pour apprendre l'anglais, ensuite, dans une famille française, tu ne feras pas beaucoup de progrès !
Choisis plutôt un pays et une famille vraiment anglophone, ou alors viens en Inde, mais pas pour apprendre l'Anglais !
Salut! oui je me doute bien que je ne vais pas progresser aussi vite. Mais c'est histoire d'avoir quelques repères au début, de ne pas être perdu! Car si j'arrive dans une famille anglophone et que je ne parle pas anglais cela va être difficile avec les enfants! Donc je préfère arriver dans un lieu "sécurisant" au début et me "lacher" après.

faire du au pair en inde c'est bien, mais faut trouver la famille qui parle anglais.
donc faut chercher les expatriés anglais qui cherche une au pair pour apprendre à leurs enfants le francais.
Les familles indiennes parlent hindi... entre eux avec de temps à autres des mots ou phrases en anglais. Donc tu seras largué.
De plus, il se peut que la famille indienne te considere aussi comme un de leur servants (ce qui n'est vraiment pas la meilleure chose en inde), tu n'auras ni stp, merci... apres il y a toujours ces familles indiennes qui ont les manieres occidentales du merci, bonjour, svp...
Je ne veux pas dire que les indiens c'est des sauvages sans bonne maniere. Mais c'est un mode de vie qui peut en derouter plus d'un.

Seulement partir par un organisement est très très conseiller car ancienne colonie anglaise, les indiens non occidentalisés sont contre les blancs. Risque régulier de maladie ( même logé à l'hotel!) au moins 4 à 7 jours par mois! aucune assurance ou garantie (même pour aller au états-unis, il faut passer par un organisme agréé par le gouvernement américian) Ils parlent très bien anglais (pourquoi de plus en plus de société européenne transfèrent leurs comptabilités ou leurs call-center là-bas.) Ils fabriquent même des sites internets 10 fois moins cher quand france ( seulement le service après vente n'existe pas... Il faut tombé dans une bonne famille indienne (plus facile pour apprendre l'hindi, car si je me rappelle bien, il y a 4 langues officielles en inde).
La meilleur source d'information reste l'ambassade de France en Inde, qui cherche de plus en plus à développer sa coopération avec l'inde!

Maintenant, la question n'est pas uniquement de savoir ce que VOUS voulez de la famille la bas, mais aussi ce que la famille est en droit d'attendre de vous !
A mon avis, (mais je me trompe peut etre), beaucoup de famille indiennes recherchent des filles au pair ANGLOPHONES afin que leurs enfants soient en mesure de parler anglais le plus tot possible. Autrement, ils prendraient surement une au pair indienne qui leur couterait certainement moins cher !
Donc, si vous voulez aller en Inde pour apprendre l'anglais, il vous faut viser une famille anglo saxonne. Mais en regardant le site que vous a envoye jbabdx, j'ai vu qu'il y avait plusieurs familles non indiennes.. Contactez les... et... good luck !!

Yva, deux choses : soit tu passes par une agence ou association française Au pair pour partir là-bas, en leur proposant le projet d'inaugurer l'Inde (au moins tu seras couvert par une assurance)
et ainsi te permettant de t'aider dans tes démarches (passeport, assurance, recherche de famille) soit tu prends tes précautions en passant par une famille directement sans assurance :
=> famille indienne pour parlé anglais (ils sont bilingues) et hindi, tu te feras aux coutumes locaux...
=> famille occidentale pour parlé anglais mais découvrir l'inde façon touriste!
De toute façon, si une famille indien fait appel à un ou une occidentale, il doit bien y avoir une raison et les moyens financiers / matériels de l'accueillir!
Au niveau de la considération cela pourra être un peu délicat! (esclave...)

Pour commencer je vais vous expliquer notre situation. Mon épouse et moi-même sommes français et tous deux professeurs de langues (actuellement en Angleterre depuis 4 ans). Nous avons été recrutés par une école internationale en Inde à Mumbai à partir du mois d’aout prochain. Ma femme a accouché d’une petite fille, le 19 mars qui aura donc 4 mois lors de notre arrivée en Inde. Nous sommes donc à la recherche d’une jeune fille ou d’une jeune femme (16 à 28 ans) qui pourrai s’occuper de notre fille lorsque nous irons travailler (de 7h00 à 18h00 du lundi au vendredi) pour une période minimum de 10 mois (d’aout 2008 à début juin 2009). Nous préférerions avoir une fille au pair française qui a été sélectionnée par nos soins que de prendre une parfaite inconnue en Inde qui de surcroit ne parle ni le français ni l’anglais. Il faudra bien sûr passer par un organisme officiel pour diverses raisons (assurances, visa, etc.) nous prendrions à notre charge le vol aller et (retour, uniquement si vous restée jusqu’à juin). Vous pouvez rentrer en France pour les vacances scolaires (indiennes) à vos frais. Votre principale activité sera de vous occuper de notre bébé et de nous aidé à tenir le logement propre. Vous serez logée et nourrie chez nous.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
