Bonjour, je dois partir cette été en séjour au Gabon pour 2 ans, mon mari est militaire.
J'aurais besoin de renseignements car je dois emmener mes 2 chiens, un carlin et un bouledogue américain, et c'est assez confus, personne n'arrive à me donner les bonnes réponses ! Je sais que les chiens doivent etre identifier ca c'est ok, le certificat de vaccination antirabique doit etre - de 3 mois, les vaccins à jours, un certificat sanitaire international de - de 3 jours, et je crois une attestation d'absence de rage depuis 60 jours dans la région d'origine, et la validation du certificat de vaccination et sanitaire par la DDSV de ma région.
Est-ce complet ou est-ce qu'il faut d'autres choses ?

Sinon quand vous rentrerez en France avec les deux chiens il faudra leur faire une sérologie de la rage bien avant le retour (renseignez vous sur les délais).
Là bas il vaudra mieux leur donner régulièrement un traitement anti filariose.
Vous trouverez de bons vétos à Libreville, moi j'étais allée chez Mme Berthonneau quartier de Guégué mais je ne sais si elle y est toujours (je pense que oui).
Y a des chances pour que vos toutous fassent sensation, on ne voit pas souvent de carlins là bas!
Oui le Gabon devrait vous plaire, il y a toujours une période d'adaptation, mais à mon avis dans votre cas ce ne sera pas bien compliqué .

De plus pense a contacter la compagnie aérienne que l'armée t'as attribué car il te faut des caisses spécial. Tu seras ammené a donner a tes chiens des cachets contre les vers de coeur ( infection local) je te conseille de prendre un stock avec toi. Vous êtes muté sur libreville ou port gentil ?

Moi je rentre le 15 juin après 3 ans fait a port gentil. Si tu veux j'ai des photos de libreville. Moi perso quand je suis arrivée j'ai halluciné car en faite Libreville est très moderne on dirait une ville française au premier abord biensur après il y des quartiers. Mais c'est sympa j'y étais ya 15 jours j'y étais bien.
C'est dommage, j'arrive seulement en juillet mais quand je ne sais pas encore, mon mari arrivera le 30 juin.

Oui il faut des caisses spéciales pour avion, pour info on peut entrouver à acheter aux aéroports, mais celles ci sont plus chères que dans les magasins genre "truffaut" où vous trouverez aussi ces caisses pour avion. perso qd je voyage avec un chien ou un chat je ne donne plus de somnifères car l'effet attendu est parfois contraire (!), je leur donne des comprimés à visée sédative et homéopathique qui les détend simplement (en pharmacie). Filariose=vers de coeur.
je pars aussi sur le gabon le 7 juin avec ma petite chienne charlie j'ai bien noté les papiers sanitaires a avoir comme je viens du congo cela ne devrait pas être compliqué par contre que veut dire un certificat de vaccinantion daté de - de 3 mois ???? ma chienne est vaccinée tous les ans et le dernier vaccin date du 21 janvier 2009 faut il le refaire ???? je sais que le gabon en matiere de rage est exigeant es tu sûre de tes renseignements ????je vais téléphoner a l'ambassade du gabon et si j'ai des renseignements supplémentaires je te le dirai

Voici ce qu'il faut pour le Gabon : identification par tatouage ou puce certificat international de bonne santé de - de 3 jours titrage, test de sérologie pour la rage de - de 3 mois, le vétérinaire fait une prise de sang pour etre sur que le chien est bien immunisé contre la rage, mais vous etes pas obligé de le faire pour partir, mais obligatoire pour revenir en France. Vaccins à jour attestation d'absence de rage depuis 60 jours dans la région d'origine vermifuge et filairioze validation du certificat de vaccination antirabique et du certificat sanitaire international par la DDSV

Nous ne savons toujours pas quand nous allons arriver, l'armée n'a plus de budget pour les billets d'avion, il parait !

Oui batterie IV à l'air d'etre un bon quartier, c'est là que mes enfants vont aller à l'école.

Pour le chien, je pense qu'il va passer 2 ans sous clim !!!! Car déja que les chaleurs "bretonnes" elle a du mal, alors les chaleurs africaines
risquent de la mettre KO. J'espére juste qu'elle ne va pas choper une maladie ou etre piquée par un insecte bizarre, et qu'on va bien la
ramener au bout de 2 ans.
Notre caisse est partie la semaine derniére, nous sommes maintenant à la recherche d'un 4X4 sur place.

Les appartement sont nikel a la sablière ils sont spacieux. Vous inquiétez pour votre chienne elle va s'acclimater. Ici tous les chiens qui viennent de France sont en grande forme malgrès la chaleur.

Oui on a recu des photos de notre futur logement à La sabliére, éffectivement nous serons à 50 métres de la piscine et de la mer, et ça, c'est super pour les ballades de la chienne.

les 3 ans se sont très bien passé malgrès notre retour prévu a Colmar au lieu de fréjus. Je suis très contente de rentrer et a fond dans les cartons notre caisse part le 8 juin. Pour DENNEl non il est pas a port gentil. Mon mari est en ZT il est mécano hors bord. J'ai travaillé 2 ans la 3eme année non. J'ai bossé d'abord au consulat puis ensuite j'ai fait prof de math pendant 1 ans et demi et j'ai bossé dans un hotel j'était responsable de l'équipe de nettoyage. Essayer de me donner le numéro de DUNNEL je vais essayer de le joindre d'ici et de lui communiquer vos coordonnées si vous voulez.
Ah ben mince, l'épouse de nos predecesseurs a rencontré la semaine derniére quelqu'un qui le connait et cette personne lui a dit qu'il etait sur Port Gentil. Coté mutation entre Fréjus et Colmar, y'a un petite différence de localisation et de températures aussi !!! Et pourquoi mettre un mécano hors bord à Colmar ? La mer faut la chercher ....

Moi, je pense que le grand (6 ans) ne se rend pas encore trop compte, mais il a 2 meilleurs copains qui vont trés certainement lui manquer beaucoup, c'est pour cela que j'ai demandé à arriver vers le 20 juillet pour qu'il est le temps de s'en faire d'autres avant la rentrée.

je ne l'ai pas eu directement j'ai un ami sur lbv avec je converse par msn qui le connait très bien il lui a tel pour moi. On est 17 familles on est très bien logé nous on a une villa 4 ch pour 1 seul enfant. Nous on a été a lambaréné et a la lopé ce dernier étant vraiment super a faire on a aussi fait sao tomé c'est une ile au large du Gabon.

J'habite au Gabon depuis 9 mois et j'ai également un chien, donc ta liste est compléte, il te faut juste prévoir une cage pour le transport en soute et réserver aupres de la compagnie aerienne car , il y a des places limités sur les vols pour le transport d'animaux.
Sinon sur Libreville il y a 2 bons vétérinaire pour tes chiens.
Il faut te renseigner aupres de la compagnie aerienne pour ton bouledogue car certaines races de chiens sont interdites dans un avion.

je suis arrivé le 17 juillet, tout était bon, faut dire qu'il jette juste un coup d'oeil a l'aéroport c'est tout par contre à Roissy ils ne voulaient pas prendre mon 3 ème chien, j'ai craqué pour un bouledogue anglais avant de partir !! je voyageait seule avec ma fille et c'est 1 chien par personne mais vu qu'ils ont fait l'erreur lors de la réservation et en même temps il y avait de la place, ils ont accepté !! après 2 h de négociation !! et pour les véto je suis aller faire un tour chez Vet-line, très sympa, mes chiens m'ont fait de l'eczéma, pas de chance surtout mon carlin, trop de stress pour lui je pense.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
