Je voulais partir faire une année universitaire la bas, mais mes notes ne me le permettront pas.
De coup pour y palier, je souhaite partir mais je ne sais pas trop ce que je veux voir, ce qu'il y a de vraiment bien a voir. Je ne connais absolument pas le cout de la vie la bas! Je souhaiterais partir 1mois entre juillet et aout semble t il! Comment peut on en tant qu'Européens travaillaient la bas?
Parce que j'envisagerais volontiers de travailler en même temps et donc à rester plus longtemps !!
Dans l'idéal, je voudrais rencontrer quelqu'un qui pourrait m'heberger et me faire visiter en partie les Etats Unis!!!
Puisque tu envisages de partir étudier aux USA, j'imagine que le côté financier n'est pas un problème pour toi.
Une connaissance a été accepté dans une université américaine, sans passer par un programme d'échange, sous réserve de prendre des cours de mise à niveau en anglais. De nombreuses universités proposent ces cours, qui durent quelques semaines, aux étudiants dont la langue maternelle n'est pas l'anglais.
Tu sembles penser que tu ne pourras pas partir dans le cadre d'un échange avec ton université à cause de tes résultats, je te conseille tout de même de tenter ta chance, l'année est loin d'être terminée...Il y a des sites qui offrent des cours gratuits de langue et beaucoup de livres qui peuvent t'aider...
Travailler aux USA: Vaste chantier, tout dépend de ta formation et de ton niveau détudes. Il faut un visa, et je te conseille de préparer ton départ.
Tu voudrais rencontrer quelqun qui pourrait t'héberger et te faire visiter les Etats Unis !?

Pour travailler aux usa, il faut soit passer par un organisme, soit être sponsorisé par un employeur ( shéma difficile car onéreux pour l'employeur et longue procedure ), ou gagner une green card à la loterie americaine.

Tu ne peux pas partir aux USA ton balluchon sur le dos et penser travailler légalement. Ce n'est pas l'Europe. Et encore moins y vivre si tu n'as pas suffisement de ressources.
Rien n'est gratuit ici...ex: même le tampon certifié conforme que tu obtiens gratuitement dans n'importe quelle mairie en France, nécessite de débourser 8 $HT.
Un motel pas cher c'est 50$HT environ la nuit sans le petit déjeuner. Dans de nombreuses villes, ta voiture c'est ta vie...tu as 20 ans, donc pas encore l'âge d'en louer une...
Je vais me répeter mais un tel voyage se prépare au moins FINANCIEREMENT et ADMINISTRATIVEMENT avant ton départ et depuis la France si tu penses y rester plus de 3 mois et/ou y travailler.
Mieux vaut être dans la légalité à tous points de vue, si tu ne veux pas te retrouver derrière les barreaux, puis ''banni'' du territoire, ce serait dommage de transformer ton aventure en Mésaventure...

J'ai un collegue qui est parti en groupe sur la côte californienne pour 10 jours, hotel, avion, il en a eu pour 1800€ sans compter les repas.
Moi je suis partie chez une amie à san fransisco, logée gratis, j'ai payé mon billet A/R 600€, un visa touriste à 100€, j'avais 1000€ pour m'éclater, pour 15 jours !
Et encore on m'avait prêté une voiture, sinon ça m'aurait couté en transport !

Non, tu n'as pas eu de chance, tu es tombé dans la période où la France a fait des passeports ne permettant pas d'aller aux USA. Rien à voir avec les passeports biométriques. On peut parfaitement aller aux USA avec un passeport d'avant le 26 octobre 2005.
Les passeports à lecture optique délivrés entre le 26 octobre 2005 et le 30 mars 2006 ne permettant pas de se rendre aux USA sans visa, sont échangés gratuitement en préfecture de police contre un passeport électronique
Ceux qui ont des passeports d'avant le 26 octobre 2005 peuvent parfaitement aller aux USA avec, pas besoin de les refaire tant qu'ils sont valides.

Administrativement Londres, c'est surement plus simple, trouver un job etc...Mais ton but c'est d'aller aux USA donc fais ce qu'il faut pour atteindre ton objectif, ne laisses pas tomber pour une histoire d'argent, tu peux économiser...et ensuite y aller en vacances pour commencer, et ensuite qui sait...

Tu dois avoir ton stage avant de faire la demande de visa. Les autorités américaines se déplacent aussi parfois pour vérifier si l'entreprise est prête à t'acceuillir.
