Je pars à Bogota le 3 novembre, mon plan est de passer 3 mois dans ce pays magnifique et de travailler sur mon blog pour couvrir les frais de mon séjour, ça fait plusieurs années que je rêve d'aller en Colombie, je parle espagnol et j'hésite entre Bogota et Medellin, pour préciser mes besoins j'ai 31 ans, je veux trouver un appartement, travailler la journée sur mes blogs et sortir le soir, rencontrer du monde et profiter de la vie, il me semble que le climat est plus sympa à Medellin et que pour sortir c'est une ville très sympa, si vous avez une opinion sur la question je suis preneur car la date approche et je voudrais être fixé.
Je précise que sur la fin de mon voyage je vais prendre 3 semaines de "vacances" pour voyager dans le pays donc j'aurais l'occasion de visiter d'autres villes.

Je ne gagne pas énormément mais avec ce que je gagne ça me permet de vivre correctement dans un pays comme la Colombie, j'ai vécu deux ans en Australie et à mon retour j'avais envie de continuer à vivre à l'étranger et du coup je me suis lancé dans le blogging à temps plein (je fais ça depuis 6 mois).
Je pense me poser à Medellin parce que j'ai entendu beaucoup de bonnes choses sur cette ville.

Si tu veux avoir une vie plus tranquille, je pense que Medellin est mieux: climat agréable (20-25°C toute l'année 😎), transport efficace, jolis coins a visiter a proximité.
Le climat de Bogota est vraiment pas terrible ce qui s'ajoute a la pollution, le transport compliqué, mais personnellement je trouve que la ville a plus de quartiers agréables que Medellin.
Salut RMIF, beh ecoute, c'est 2 villes tres differentes, moi j'avoue que j'ai jamais ete ultra fan de bogota, mais c'est pour des raisons particulieres: il pleut souvent, il fait froid, après comme on est en altitude je me trouvais parfois assez fatigué le soir, et la ville est très polluée et immense... voila pour les choses que je n'aimais pas... après c'est la capitale, au plan artistique, musée, concerts, culturel, c'est le must en colombie, et il y a beaucoup d'etrangers dans la candelaria, et certians quartiers magnifiques (usaquen mon coup de ceur le dimanche)
medellin, c'est tres differend, c'est un peu le barcelone de la colombie je trouvais, une ville tres active et industrielle, des gens tres fiers de leur region, une vie nocturne tres developpee, des filles tres jolies (tous les colombiens le repetent en boucle...), un metro, mais petite deception je m'attendais a une ville plus belle que ca, je n y ai pas trouve beaucoup d'attrait en fait au plan strictement touristique. Mais autour par contre, il y a plein de trucs a faire (santa fe de antioquia par ex)
tout depend de tes gouts, les 2 sont geniales, moi comme je n'aime pas les villes trop immenses je preferais cali ou j 'ai aussi vecu 6 mois (ma ville preferree en colombie) ...
A vrai dire je suis très attiré par Medellin mais j'ai entendu pas mal de choses récemment concernant la sécurité dans cette ville qui se serait dégradée lors de ces deux dernières années, un blogueur américain qui s est installé la bas m a parlé d'étrangers qui se faisaient attaquer en plein jour dans des quartiers pourtant corrects et je ne trouve pas ça suffisant comme situation, c'est pourquoi je suis en train de chercher des informations précises sur ce point.

En un mois de voyage en Colombie, je ne me suis à aucun moment senti en insécurité. Les Colombiens et Colombiennes sont les gens les plus chaleureux et accueillants que j'ai piu rencontrer durant mon tour du monde. Respectez les précautions élémentaires (sortir de jour, ne pas arborer d'éléments coûteux sur soi) et vous serez immédiatement conquis.
C'est probablement trop tard pour Aurélien mais ça peut servir à d'autres.
D'ailleurs, ça serait bien de voir son blog...
Bogota est une grande ville sans fin et sans beaucoup de caractère. On y trouve de tout pour sortir, mais je trouve assez impersonnel. Rester un mois à Bogota me déprimerait. J'y ai marché une nuit entière, traversant la ville de part en part, sans faire la moindre rencontre d'intérêt.
Au contraire Medellin est une capitale de province, plus terre à terre, les gens y sont plus naturels et les contacts s'en ressentent. Vous passez le pas de la porte et les rencontres sont là. Vous vous ferez vite des amis et le barrio que vous habiterez deviendra rapidement votre quartier général. En 1 semaine vous connaîtrez déjà tous les voisins à deux quadras de distances. Vous serez invité par ces gens dans les soirées caliente et y serez en sécurité. Alors c'est vrai, ce n'est pas un ville très jolie, mais ça dépend de ce que l'on recherche. Bogota est aussi moche avec la chaleur des gens en moins.
Et ne croyez pas qu'un mois à Medellin soit trop, il y a beaucoup à faire, surtout lors de la période des fêtes en août.
Bon vous avez compris mon opinion, mais en fait si vous me donnez un mois en Colombie, j'irais à Santa Marta ou à Providencia !
Merci beaucoup pour ta réponse, voila qui me donne encore plus envie d'aller à Medellin. J'ai passé un mois à Bogota et j'ai beaucoup apprécié car je me suis tout de suite fait des amis et il y a beaucoup de possibilités pour sortir. Par contre ce que j'ai moins aimé c'est le temps (il fait froid et il pleut beaucoup), et puis l'insécurité, il faut constamment être sur ses gardes, et la nuit il faut faire très attention, en un mois j'ai connu 6 personnes qui se sont fait agresser, la plupart du temps plus de peur que de mal mais bon c'est quand même pesant à la longue.
Je suis actuellement à Yopal dans le Casanare, c'est une petite ville avec un niveau de vie plutôt élevé (il y a du pétrole dans la région) et je découvre un tout autre visage de la Colombie, une petite ville tranquille, sans problèmes de sécurité, où il fait chaud, le soir les gens sortent prendre un verre, on se ballade en scooter, le genre de ville où on aimerait se poser !
Ce qui m'a retenu d'aller à Medellin ce sont les problèmes de sécurité, mais ton témoignage me donne très envie d'y aller et d'y passer quelques temps !

vu la rapidité de ta réponse, je constate que tu es connecté en permanence. Et je comprend pourquoi après avoir fait un petit tour sur ton site. Ton idée est intéressante et doit faire beaucoup d'envieux, mais ça ne doit pas être facile quand même. Au moins tu as le courage d'essayer et ça a l'air de te réussir plutôt bien. Tant mieux pour toi et bonne chance pour la suite.
Pour ma part, j'ai toujours fait beaucoup de choses sans qu'elles ne me rapportent un copek. J'adorerais voyager toute l'année mais je suis incapable de faire rentrer des sous dans le porte monnaie. J'ai essayer durant un an et demi en Amérique du sud, mais nada.
Enfin, je te souhaite un bon voyage à Medellin (c'est vrai que les filles y sont très jolies) et alentours.
Si tu as la possibilité de passer quelques temps à Andes, je penses que tu aimeras les gens, le calme, la nature... et il faut aller voir le Peñol, etc.

en fait j'ai toujours adoré voyager et à chaque fois que je suis parti à l'étranger je me suis toujours demandé comment faire pour pouvoir vivre ou je veux, alors c'est sur que c'est du travail mais j'aime ce que je fais et j'ai la possibilité d'aller ou je veux, c'est vraiment incroyabl.
L'année prochaine je compte aller au Brésil, pour le reste je ferai en fonction de mes envies. Cuba me tente énormément mais d'après ce que je sais il est très difficile d'avoir une connexion Internet depuis là-bas et moi j'en ai besoin pour travailler !
