Le probleme avec le pvt, c'est qu'a mon avis il sera difficile de trouver un emploi dans le graphisme, apperement les boulots que l'on peut trouver sont des ptits jobs a moins d'un énorme coup de bol!!
Avant de t'installer, je te recommande vivement de faire un voyage de prospection pour prendre la température de cette ville car il se peut qu'elle ne te convienne pas du tout.

Et j'insiste, documentes-toi, ballades-toi sur les forums d'immigrants, et bosse ton anglais, car même si à Montréal on parle français, 80% des boîtes bossent en anglais, tout du moins au centre-ville.

Des petits jobs, t'en trouveras à la pelle. Il suffit de te présenter avec un CV dans les bars et les restos.
En revanche, tu ne pourras pas bosser si tu n'as pas le visa approprié.

Oui pas de problème, tu peux travailler pour n'importe quel employeur durant la validité de ton visa.
Le plus dur sera de convaincre les gens qui t'embauchent que tu veux rester plus d'un an au Canada.
A cela tu peux répondre qu'il existe le visa stage de perfectionnement.

Ce que j'ai fait au Québec ? J'ai revu mes chums québécois, j'ai visité et revisiter le Québec, l'Ontario, je bossais ( pas dans mon domaine ) et j'ai pris beaucoup de bon temps.
J'étais déjà venue à Montréal avant de m'installer mais j'avais pas accroché avec cette ville, au départ, je voulais aller à Vancouver. Comme la plupart de ceux qui s'installent au Canada, j'ai voulu jouer la sécurité connaissances sur place, langue française, grande ville, plus d'emplois etc...En fait, j'aurais dû suivre ma 1ère idée.
Montréal et Paris ne sont pas comparables du tout selon moi.
Il vaudrait mieux comparer Mtl à une moyenne ville de province.
Si tu as une vie intense à Paris ( que tu sors beaucoup, que t'aimes aller dans les musées, les expos, que tu aimes les terrasses de café ), si tu aimes les vieilles pierres, si tu aimes être un anonyme parmi les anonymes, si tu aimes la diversité, je te dirais de bien réfléchir avant de choisir Montréal. Un bon nombre de parisiens installés sont rentrés parce que Paris..disons la vie parisienne leur manquait, chez les provinciaux installés, c'est différent.

Je ne sais pas où tu veux en venir...je peux te dire que j'avais le sentiment d'être en sécurité à n'importe quelle heure du jour et de la nuit à Mtl, pas à Paris.
Les embouteillages, c'est kif kif.
Le système de santé à Mtl, c'est la merde pour trouver un généraliste, c'est la merde quand il faut attendre des heures aux urgences.
Le civisme, ça signifie quelque chose au Québec, à Paris...hum !

Alex Je compte partir quand j'aurai un peu d'argent. Donc Je vais essayer de touver un job en tant que graphiste en france d'abord. Apres je pense que je chercherai du travail sur place au quebec, c'est plus facile. Si tu pars avant moi, je voudais bien avoir des nouvelles! :)
Tu pourras facilement te trouver des colocs a Montreal, et une job dans un magasin de plein-air ou quelque chose du genre dans le Plateau Mont-Royal (un quartier jeune et cool... le plus cool d'apres moi pour des jeunes europeens) ou dans un bistro-café. Les journaux débordent d'annoncent de recherche de colocs. devrait pas y avoir de probleme. et de jobs.

sinon pour les autres moi je cherche du boulo dans la cuisine, serveur barman en boite ou bar... j'espere qu'il faut pas etre bilingue sinon c la merde...lool

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
