La plage n'est peut-être pas la plus longue (+-1km), mais elle est très belle! Oui, il y a de l'animation sur la plage, mais il y a toujours moyen de trouver un petit coin plus tranquille. Et c'est un hôtel qui fait parti de la chaîne Sunscape, très renommée! Allez voir sur le site de Sunscape, vous y trouverez beucoup d'informations et de photos de l'hôtel.

Il y a une discothèque le soir à l'hôtel. Très bien! La plupart des gens de l'hôtel y vont (puisqu'il n'y a vraiment rien d'autre à faire le soir).
Bayahibe est le petit village de pêcheurs non loin du Casa del Mar, vous pouvez aller voir un après-midi, mais vraiment rien de très intéressant si ce n'est qu'il y a un restaurant de fruits de mer très bon (je ne me rappelle plus du nom...). La ville la plus proche est LaRomana, mais encore là, il n'y a pas grand chose à voir... Vous pouvez aller visiter Altos de Chavon (à Casa de Campo). Il s'agit d'une reconstitution d'un village italien de 17è siècle. Vous pourrez y prendre de trrrrrès beaux clichés!

personnellement je suis allée au casa del mars en février dernier et je peux vous assurer que c'est un excellent hôtel. Les chambres sont trés bien, la nourriture est excellente et il y a une trés bonne équipe d'animation. Pour ce qui est de la plage il est vrai qu'elle n'est pas trés large mais elle a le mérite d'être trés propre et trés belle. De plus comme il a déjà été dit il y a beaucoup d'animations.
Pour ce qui est du village de Bayahibe il n'est pas trés loin de l'hôtel, a peine 15min de marche. Il est vrai qu'il n'y a pas grand chose à voir mais j'ai bien aimé flaner dans les rues c'est typique!
Et un soir j'ai tenté d'aller dans une boite de nuit dans Bayahibe et c'est vrai que ce n'est pas trop recommandé, on est vite parti rejoidre la discothéquer de l'hôtel qui est quand à elle trés bien. (c'était notre point de rdv tout les soirs!!!)😉
en tout cas quelque soit votre choix la RD est un trés beau pays.

Le soir où je suis allée au village pour aller en discothéque nous étions 13 jeunes et nous nous sommes fait pas mal embété. Etant dans un pays étranger et parlant mal la langue nous avons préféré partir. Sinon pour y aller il faut passer par la plage mais il faut faire attention car se n'est pas éclairé et il y a beaucoup de choses qui traine par terre (bouteilles...) et il y a aussi des Dominicains un petit peu éméché qui dorment par terre donc il faut faire attention a pas leur marcher dessus!!!😄
Sinon à la discothéque de l'hôtel il passe de tout, il suffit d'aller voir le dj, de dire se que l'on veut et il le passe.
Et pour se qui est des concerts live, l'an dernier il n'y en a pas eu.

J'étais au CASA DEL MAR en Avril 06, hotel très bien, d'ailleurs j'envisage d'y retourner. Pendant mon sejour, je suis allee manger une langouste un soir dans un resto tenu par un français. Je n'ai eu aucun souci (j'étais avec mon mari, mon fils et mamie). Nous avions pris une lampe de poche effectivement pour voir où l'on mettait les pieds car la plage n'est pas éclairée.

Autant la journée vous pouvez sortir tranquille mais le soir, vaut mieux éviter.
Les trois buts des Dominicains sont l'argent, l'alcool et les femmes !
Ils boivent beaucoup tout au long de la journée et le soir ils sont pas très bien donc un conseil, évitez de sortir dans les rues seuls la nuit.
je reviens de Bayahibe et du Casa del Mar... le village n'est pas à 30mn du Casa à moins de marcher au rythme de l'escargot. Un grand 1/4h en se promenant ! Peu de chose à faire effectivement à Bayahibe si ce n'est se ballader en fin d'après-midi, ambiance sympa surtout le WE.
Par contre je vous recommande d'aller voir Cap'tain Pat sur le port. Une française (lyonnaise) installée là. Elle organise des sorties (Saona, Catalina, St Domingue, etc...) très sympa et surtout en petit groupe pour éviter la foule des touristes !
Sinon le Casa, ca dépend vos gouts.... rien a dire sur la prestation très correcte, mais c'est une grosse structure et beaucoup de monde !!! La plage c'est comme la Côte d'Azur en plein été ... transat contre transat. Faut aimer. Et y'en a qui aime... nous on préfèrerait un peu de tranquilité et les grandes plages. Pour cela vaut mieux aller vers le Dominicus.

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
