Pourriez-vous me donner svp vos remarques sur cet hôtel et me donner trucs/astuces pour ce 1er séjour en RD? (chambres, restos, monnaie à emporter, etc....)
😉bonjour. nous partons également pour cet hôtel le 2 mars pour 15 jours. il est vrai qu'il y a du positif et du négatif dans les lectures du forum.
à ce qu'il parait il faut demander les blocs 5 ou 7 pour avoir de belles chambres. dans le bloc 1 les chambres sont bruyantes et très humides !!!!
il faut également laisser un petit pourboire aux femmes de chambre pour avoir tous les jours des chambres nickel!
pouvez-vous me tenir au courant de ce que vous avez trouvé dans cet hôtel dès votre retour de vacances? ce serait sympa.
il faut aussi emporter quelques médicaments (aspirine, anti-diarrhées, biafine pour coups de soleil, nurofen, etc) et de la protection assez haute pour le soleil.
nous partons de mulhouse en vol direct (9 heures de vol) avec marsans!!!! au départ nous avions choisi des hotels sur bayahibe, mais le temps de se décider, tout était déjà complet.

😉😉Non c'est la première fois. j'étais déjà en martinique et en guadeloupe, j'en suis revenue déçue. je m'étais jurée de ne pllus faire 9 heures d'avion pour se faire traiter de "raciste", etc. mais bon début mars pour trouver la chaleur et du soleil, il faut aller loin. le bassin méditerranéen ne suffit pas. bon week-end. sonia

Nous sommes alles plusieurs fois a cet hotel : allez y sans crainte, c'est super. Il y a eu de gros progres l'an dernier. Mon seul reproche est le manque de variete de la nourriture. Si vous restez plus de 10 jours, vous finirez par vous lasser. Mais vous ne regretterez pas votre voyage

Je suis sceptique par rapport a ce point. Les blocs sont tres regulierement refaits et entretenus, donc ce qui vaut aujourd'hui ne sera peut etre pas vrai demain.
Pour les blocs, je choisirais un qui donne sur le plan d'eau avec les flamands roses

faut-il prévoir pour les moustiques?
vivement mars, car ici en alsace il fait très froid, et nous avons besoin de faire le plein de soleil.

Pour les moustiques, cela depend. Normalement il n'y en a pratiquement pas sur Punta Cana. Mais l'an derneir, apres les fortes pluies il y en a eu un peu et meme des cas de paludisme. J'ai lu des messages tres inquietants au point de vouloir changer de destination mais une fois sur place, les trois quarts des gens ne se protegeaient plus.
Donc a priori ne rien prendre et se renseigner avant le depart pour savoir s'il y a du palud mais on en aurait entendu parler.
Nous serons au Ocean Bavaro du 3 au 10 mars prochain pour une 6e fois. Nous sommes enchantés de cet hôtel. Pour nous tout y est. Le site est magnifiquement paysagé. La nourriture est excellente et variée. L'équipe d'animation est super. Il y a d'excellents spectacles à chaque soir. Et en plus, une magnifique plage de sable blanc et une eau turquoise. Que demander de plus!
J'ai des amis qui vont à Punta Cana depuis de nombreuses années. Ils changeaient d'hôtel à chaque année. Ils ont essayé cet hôtel il y a trois ans. Ils y retournent pour une troisième fois cette année. Nous y avons rencontré plusieurs personnes qui n'en étaient pas à leur premier séjour à cet endroit.

🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
