voici un compte rendu rapide de notre séjour à l'hôtel Allegro de Punta Cana du 28 juillet au 11 août.
Le Vol:
Partis avec Corsair, Départ D'Orly Sud arrivé à Punta Cana avec escale à Point à Pitre
L'escale d'environ 1H30 a été faite à l'aller comme au retour, ce qui rallonge la durée du vol
L'Hôtel et chambre:
Il est composé de 9 blocs, de beaux jardins, et d'une belle piscine nettoyée tout les matins.
On était situé au bloc N°9, coté restaurant et cuisine.
C'est un côté un peu bruyant car on entend les moteurs des climatisation qui se situent sur le
toit des batiments en face
La chambre est suffisamment spacieuse, mais simple: TV (TV5monde comme seule chaine française), cafetiere, 2 lits, pas de frigo.
les draps furentt rarement changés et ils nous manquaient souvent des serviettes. De plus on a pas eu d'eau chaude pendant 3-4jours.
De plus il ne faut pas être tatillon niveau finition, les murs ne sont pas vraiment droit, trous sur les murs,
joint non fini, etc...
Quand on est arrivé, plusieurs ampoules étaient grillées, tout était réparée dans la soirée.
Il y avait très peu de français, et pour se faire comprendre il faut parler miminum l'anglais sinon c'est un peu galère.
Time shear :
Des personnes du groupe Occidental viennent vous voir pour aller à une réunion d’information.
En fait ce sont des gens qui vous incitent à vous inscrire à leur truc pour soi disant payé – cher vos prochains voyage.
Au bout d’un moment, ça devient vraiment ennuyeux.
Le temps:
Aiiie, ce fut très instable pendant ces 15 jrs: soleil, pluie, et beaucoup de vent.
Restaurants:
Le restaurant principal propose des buffets variées et d'assez bonne qualité. Je n'aimais pas trop leur légumes mais je suis assez difficile.
Par contre leur pates sont délicieuses. Des fois, leur table sont incompletes (manque verre, couvets).
Restaurant sympa sur la plage à midi (frites, hamburger, hot dogs, pizzas, etc...)
Plage/mer:
Beaucoup d'algues dû au vent sur la plage(ramassées en journée) et des gobelets, paquets de cigarettes laissés par touristes pas très "éduqués"alors qu'il y a des poubelles.
Si vous voulez une paillote, allez y à 07h00 maxi sinon c'est plus la peine. Je me demande à quelle heure se levaient les gens pour être au bord ?
Prévoir masque et tuba: en donnant quelques morceaux de pain à 3-4m du bord, les poissons viennent à vous.De plus, une barque
est échoué à gauche de la limitation de baignade où il y a des poissons multicolores, plus gros etc...
Il n'y aurait pas ce vent, la mer serait aussi belle que dans le Sud.
Loisirs:
Plusieurs sont proposées: beach volley, beach soccers, ping pong, salsa, etc... bref pour tous les gouts si on veut y pariciper.
Spectacles tous les soirs, mais répétitifs si on reste 2 semaines.
Excursions:
on a fait dolphin Island.
Les excursion proposées par Marsans sont horriblement chers (genre 185 € pour faire Samana), ils abusent vraiment.
Bref, malgrés quelques mauvaises choses, on a passé un bon séjour. Mais on a préféré Le Viva Dominicus Palace à Bayahibe.
Et bien là, c'est le détail complet que tu nous à fais,
J'aimerais bien que tout le monde puisse faire pareil,
ainsi, on sait vraiment où l'on met les pieds avant de reservé.
Nous sommes allé à punta cana dans un hôtel riu en mai dernier et nous avons l'intention d'y retourné.
Donc, j'aime bien avoir l'avis d'autre personnes sur différent hôtels.

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
