Etudiant en droit humanitaire, je compte faire un stage au Cameroun (Bamenda) entre avril et septembre de cette année.
J'ai déjà vécu au Cameroun pendant trois mois.
J'ai cependant quelques questions :
- ma copine vient avec moi au Cameroun, pour cinq mois également. L'ONG locale pour laquelle elle compte faire du volontariat lui a dit qu'il n'est pas possible de lui fournir un certificat d'hébergement de plus de trois mois. Qu'en est-il réellement ? Elle devra donc faire prolonger son visa une fois les trois mois au Cameroun ? A Bamenda ou bien faudra-t-il aller à Yaoundé ?
- Nous cherchons un studio/petit appartement pour nous loger pendant ces cinq mois. Est-ce qu'il est facile de trouver un appartement meublé une fois sur place ? Si oui (ou si non, d'ailleurs), l'un d'entre vous aurait-il des tuyaux à me donner ?
- une CB Mastercard passe-t-elle dans les distributeurs de billets, comme la SGBC ? Si ça n'est pas le cas et dans la mesure où une carte VISA coûte assez cher, est-ce que s'envoyer soi-même de l'argent via Western Union est une bonne option ? Et les chèques de voyages, peut-on les changer sur Bamenda ?
J'ai une amie en France qui aimerait aussi trouver un stage à partir du mois d'Avril au Cameroun ; malheureusement elle ne s'est vraiment pas comment s'y prendre pour en trouver un. Elle fait Ressources humaines et est en Master Psychologie du travail.
Aurais-tu s'il te plaît des pistes à me donner pour elle ?

Je ne peux te répondre que pour la deuxième partie de ta question. Oui, tu peux utiliser ta carte visa sur tous les DAB au Cameroun mais, SURTOUT, assures-toi qu'il y ait le logo "electron" en bas, à droite, sinon, tu auras des difficultés à retirer de l'argent par les DAB
Tu peux aussi te faire des WU à ton nom. Il faut éviter d'avoir de grosses sommes sur soi ou même à la maison...
Puis, tu peux aussi ouvrir un compte local à la SGBC au Cameroun, avec ta carte de résident. Mais, tu peux te passer de la carte de résident si tu ouvres ton compte au siège de la SGBC et non ses succursales. Je te dis cela pour avoir fait l'expérience.
Aussi, si tu as un compte à la SG en France, fais gaffe, tu peux rencontrer des difficultés à faire virer de l'argent de la France au Cameroun.... J'ai eu des difficultés pour cela. Je pense que la banque en France se méfie du Cameroun... Mais l'inverse, oui!!!

Il fallait que je paie les pénalités (car, entre-temps, j'avais retrouvé mon billet, que j'avais tout simplement mis à la poubelle...Ca, c'est une autre histoire). Je n'avais sur moi, que ma carte visa de la banque postale. Au DAB où je me suis rendue, il était écrit que seules les cartes avec electron sont acceptées... Ciel, c'est ce que j'avais!!!!

Mon amie cherche un stage plus dans un bureau. Il peut y a voir une partie RH mais elle recherche surtout de l'administratif, de la gestion de projets, suivi, coordination, recherche. Il peut aussi y a voir un peu de terrain aussi.
