Je suis actuellement étudiant dans une école d'ingénieur à Clermont Ferrand et dans le cadre de ma formation je vais effectuer un stage de 6 mois en Thailande.
Je vais (normallement) faire ce stage dans la Kasetsart University à Bangkok (si quelqu'un connait cette université je veux bien quelques indications) donc je voudrais savoir les choses incontournables à faire sur place, celles à ne pas faire, ce à quoi il faut faire attention, les endroits à voir et surtout avoir des conseils pour le logement (avec un budget d'étudiant bien sur😉).
Je peux juste te dire que c'est une des 3 meilleures universités de Bangkok d'après mes infos. Il est très difficile d' y entrer 😉 Bon stage petit veinard 😎

juste par curiosité, normalement un stage de fin d'année en école d'ingénieur ne se fait-il pas en entreprise?
Que vas tu faire dans cette universitée, de l'enseignement?
Ce n'est pas un stage de fin de cursus mais une periode de 1an divisée en deux stages de 6 mois à l'étranger, 1 en Université pour faire de la recherche et un en entreprise souvent en bureau d'étude.
C'est une particularité de mon école, le cursus se fait en 4 ans au lieu de trois dans les autre écoles. Certains décident de ne pas partir à l'étranger et de finir avec un cursus classique mais je trouve ça dommage de ne pas profité de l'occasion.
Sinon rassure toi comme dans n'importe quelle école je fini mes 6 derniers mois d'école en entreprise pour un stage de fin d'étude ou à l'école mais en travaillant pour une entreprise.

Riccilas, Cette université est bien la 3eme de Thailande, mais en terme de nombre d'étudiants, c'est la première, elle compte le plus grand effectif. Pour le logement, tu peux essayer autour de l'université, il y a pas mal de résidences, à partir de 2500 bahts par mois pour un appartement classique jusqu'à 4000 bahts pour les prix les plus élevés. Je te fournirai le nom des bonnes résidences prochainement, histoire de me renseigner davantage auprès de ma petite amie qui est thaie et qui a été à cette université pendant 4 ans. Il y a beaucoup de choses à manger dans le quartier, tu peux manger à toute heure, sans dépenser beaucoup. Il y a aussi un resto U dans l'université (30-40 bahts par plat). Avec deux euros, tu es sûr de bien manger (si tu n'es pas trop difficile aussi), le choix est garanti (nouilles, soupes, riz, gateaux... tout !)😛 Il y a un grand marché traditionnel où tu pourras trouver beaucoup de choses telles que des vetements, des appareils électro ménager, des meubles... tu trouveras de tout ! Il y a de nombreux cybercafés (gratuit dans l'université sous présentation de la carte étudiante et payant en dehors, pas plus de 20 bahts par heure si les tarifs n'ont pas changé depuis 1 an). Juste pour info aussi, il y a plusieurs accès pour entrer ou sortir de Kasetsart, 5 ou 6, il est recommandé d'éviter les sorties peu fréquentées la nuit, car risque de vol. Mais le jour, aucun problème! Pour te déplacer dans l'université, il y a un réseau de bus à disposition, 2 bahts par trajet. Sinon, les mototaxis, très pratiques mais un peu plus chers (entre 8 et 15 bahts). Kasetsart possède beaucoup d'installations comme groupes de sport, de musique (KUBand), de photographie, de vidéo, de bénévolat.... Tu peux facilement trouver ton bonheur et faire des activités pour développer ton réseau de contacts. Voilà pour les infos, j'espère que ça t'aura aidé. Je tâcherais d'envoyer d'autres nouvelles prochainement. Pour les endroits à voir, tu veux savoir dans le quartier de l'université (banlieue nord) ou ailleurs dans Bangkok???

il me semble que l'on a accueilli des stagiaires élèves ingénieurs de cette école dans la boîte pour laquelle je bosse, mais pas dans dans mon service (pour mon service on accueille des stagiaires en provenance de sup elec ou équivalent ainsi ques des doctorants en formations sous contrat avec notre boîte).

Février a fin avril c'est la bonne saison, très chaude en mars et avril, puis c'est la saison des pluies mais ce n'est pas en continu, attends toi a de gros et violents orages le soir. Il fera de toute facon toujours chaud 😉
Pour la garde robe, prends le minimum tu trouveras tout sur place a Bangkok et pour pas cher ... enfin ne débarque tout de même pas en calecon a l'aéroport, on ne te laisserait pas passer, les thais sont très pudiques 😛😄😏😏😉

Pour l'anecdote, y'a un adolescent qui en est mort à la mi-mai.
Il a postulé pour rentrer à cette université et sur internet n'a pas vu son nom sur la liste des admissions.
Il a du "perdre la face", il a pas supporté l'image pour sa famille, il s'est suicidé.
seulement quelque jours plus tard il a reçu un courrier de l'université comme quoi il avait bien était admis mais qu'il y avait eu une erreur informatique...

Pour le logement, vois les rues adjacentes de là Ngam Wong Warn Road, pas du coté du pantip plaza, de l'autre coté ça sera plus simple.

Comptes en marchant pour 10-15 minutes pour aller à ta faculté, avec moto taxi c'est plus rapide.
C'est une zone étudiante pas touristique du tout, quoique en 4 mois j'ai quasiment pas vu d'étrangers mais ces deux dernières semaines
j'ai dû en voir une grosse vingtaine, je sais pas ce qui se passe :). A l'université, je vois passer quelques étudiants et profs étrangers, tu pourras toujours leur poser des questions au besoin.
Dans les parages, tu as un majorcineplex, central plaza, un mall, un tesco lotus, central plaza, un phantip plaza, parc et marché de chatuchat, des marchés un peu partout, la gare routière mochit, les 2 aéroports sont pas excessivement loin...

I’ve heard about one in California, Diablo Valley College, and another in Florida, Valencia College.
