J'ai un visa touristique de 60 jours qui arrive à expiration fin mars et souhaiterais savoir s'il y a un poste frontière vers Chang Rai (le triangle d'or) où je pourrais avoir une extension d'un mois (de préférence pas en Birmanie).
Je sors du pays le 7 mars et rentre le 17, ceci a-t-il une incidence sur la date d'échéance de mon visa ? (ex: au lieu d'expirer le 1 avril, ce serait le 17 avril)
D'autre part, je souhaiterais habiter en Thaïlande (à Bangkok) un an pour commencer, quelqu'un aurait-il une idée de comment procéder pour obternir un visa de cette durée (je n'ai pas l'âge magique de 50 ans). Je souhaiterai y enseigner, mais le temps de trouver appartement et travail… (si je trouve d'ailleurs).
Tu n'es pas oblige d'aller a un poste frontiere, tu peux simplement te rendre dans un bureau de l'immigration au bout de tes 60 jours et leur demander une extension de 30 jours qui est facturee 1, 900baht.
Maintenant, si ton visa est un simple entree et que tu souhaite sortir de Thailande avant l'expiration, tu le perdras tout simplement, et a ton retour tu n'auras qu'un tampon de 30 jours. Si tu rentres le 17 mars ca te fera donc jusqu'au 16 avril.
Pour le reste si tu n'as pas 50ans, et/ou n'est pas marie avec une Thai et/ou n'as pas d'enfant thai et/ou n'as pas de work permit tu ne pourras pas avoir de visa d'un an.
j'ai un visa à trois entrées, donc je ne le perdrai pas. Le temps passé à l'extérieur sera-t-il inclus dans mes 60 jours, où reporté ?
Je demandais à Chang Rai, car je comptais m'y rendre à la période où le visa arrivera à expiration donc tant qu'à faire autant passer la frontière et revenir.
Et si je décide d'étudier en Thailande par exemple, je ne peux pas avoir de visa non plus ? (ah c'est dingue, je bloquais sur une bestiole à gauche de mon écran, et décidant de la pousser je me suis rendue compte que c'était ton icône - ma fenêtre est peu ouverte ce qui ne donne pas une vue d'ensemble. Effet réussi!)
Et pourquoi ? ne pas renouveler ton visa au myanmar en etant a Chiang Rai? C'est le plus pres et le plus pratique!...Y a pas de soucis, pour aller au bureau de l'immigration. J'ai fait renouvele le mien la semaine derniere a Ranong en passane en bateau au Myanmar, c'est tout organise avec certaines agences, c'est bien, pas de soucis!

Oui, disons que l'arrivée en thaïlande comptant pour une entrée il en reste deux.
C'est un drôle de mic mac, en fonction des ambassades et des pays.
Au japon, ils m'ont délivré un visa une entrée, en nouvelle zélande un trois entrées. Ailleurs je n'ai pas encor essayé.
Il existe aussi un visa entrées multiples, soi-disant destiné aux voyages d'affaires, mais il est très difficile de connaitre le fin mot de l'histoire : à l'immigration à bangkok par ex, ils me disaient que je pouvais en obtenir un et le faire renouveler tous les trois mois pendant un an, mais qu'il faut sortir du pays… Or en dehors du pays, cette option ne semble pas exister.
(quoi qu'il en soit, Pour obtenir un visa de plusieurs entrées mieux vaut joindre des preuves de sortie du territoire.)

J'oubliais : toujours commencer par demander un visa à entrées multiples
Pour le visa étudiant, sans être catégorique il faut de vrais justificatifs pour l'obtenir. De mon côté il m'a fallu un certif de mon école et une attestation de mon employeur en Thaïlande pour obtenir un visa ED multiple entrées (c'était pour un stage).
Quant à la durée : j'avais un visa valable 6 mois et un droit de séjour de 3 mois à l'entrée sur le territoire. Obligation de sortir du territoire au bout de 3 mois donc. (ou passer à l'ambassade ou à l'immigration mais bon... même tarif et au final et tracasseries administratives) Pour détailler, un exemple vaut mieux qu'un long discours : visa obtenu mi mars, valable 6 mois jusqu'à mi-sept 2007 entrée le 5 avril 07 en Thaïlande, droit de séjour de 3 mois jusqu'au 4 juillet 07 visa run au Cambodge fin juin. Renouvellement du droit de séjour pour 3 mois, jusqu'à fin sept. sortie au Vietnam entre le 1er et le 15 aout. Au retour, droit de séjour de 3 mois renouvellé jusqu'au 15 novembre.
Un visa valable 6 mois (1 an) permet de rester en pratique 9 mois (15 mois). Mais il faut sortir au moins une fois tous les 90 jours. Le visa n'est pas étendu en lui-même mais le droit de séjour l'est. "L'astuce" est donc de sortir 1 jour avant la fin du visa avant d'obtenir 90 jours supplémentaires en Thaïlande.
C'est peut-être différent avec un non-immigrant B, je ne connais pas exactement la durée du droit de séjour. Je pense qu'il s'agit de 90 jours également.
