Originaire de Bretagne, et voyageur dans l'ame, je suis a la recherche de contacts et de conseils en nouvelle-calédonie.
Je ne pense pas etre un naif en ce qui concerne le caillou, (réference au discussions sur le forum sur le reportage de M6, ou la nouvelle calédonie est un paradis pour l'emploi et le reste), j'ai vécu en polynésie "francaise" (4mois une premiere fois puis un an la suivante) et je me fais une idée de l'ambiance locale sur le caillou.
Car meme si ce n'est pas Tahiti j'ai rencontré las bas pas mal de métros qui ont fait les deux (pacifique quand tu nous tiens!😉)
Donc pour le cout de la vie en nouvelle calédonie, je pense etre préparé, vivre en polynésie m'as appris a vivre simplement...Y a t'il des possibilités de colocation en Nouvelle-Calédonie?
Et d'ailleurs je continue a vivre simplement en bretagne aussi!!! parce que franchement en rentrant de Mooréa j'ai pas vraiment été stupéfait par la différence au passage en caisse dans les magazins!!!
Ce que je voulais savoir, c'est si il y a du travail pour un jeune francais motivé dans le batiment en nouvelle calédonie?ou si ce secteur est réservé aux locaux?
En polynésie j'ai aussi entendu parler de cette priorité (normale d'ailleurs) aux locaux.Mais j'ai pas vraiment eu de soucis pour travailler, car en polynésie ca se passe souvent comme ca: les locaux veulent pas trop tafer ou ils se cassent a la premiere paye!
J'aimerai qu'on m'éclaire sur la nouvelle calédonie, ou on m'a dit que la situation était legerement différente.
autre question: les kanaks, les métros, les asiatiques, les wallisiens... on m'a dit que ca se mélangaient pas trop a nouméa, que c'est pas le super melting pot et que l'ambiance s'en ressent.J'aimerai en savoir plus.
Autre question: il me semble que l'essentiel de l'activité et donc des offres d'emplois se situent autour de Nouméa, pourriez vous me parler de cette ville?Je sais que j'ai detesté Papeete, bruyant, ca pue, les embouteillages en plein milieu du pacifique non merci! Mais on m'a dit qu'a Nouméa c'était différent?
Puis papeete c'est mort, a part les sorties en boite de nuits, l'ambiance "m'as tu vu", et l'élections de miss tahiti, y a pas grand chose, pas de concerts de qualité, pas d'évenements vraiment notables.

Cet hiver je pars au Brésil pour trois mois, ensuite je reviens en bretagne puis je repars au pérou, et c'est apres le pérou que je souhaite venir en Nouvelle-calédonie, c'est a dire vers janvier 2011.

egalement breton (ex brestois) installé sur le caillou depuis juin, j'y suis trés bien j'ai réelement trouvé ce que je rechercher je suis couvreur mais j'ai trés vite monté en echelons actuellement conducteur de travaux donc si besoin de mon msn - facebook ecrit moi en privé ^^
C'est bien de préparer en avance ton projet mais tu sais si c'est pour 2011, beaucoup de choses peuvent changer.
En tout cas, pour répondre à une de tes questions, l'ambiance entre les différentes ethnies est très bonne mais bien sûr tout dépend des gens que tu fréquentes.

je suis aussi charpentier en bretagne specialisé en ossature bois et tout comme vous je suis aussi fortement attiré par la nouvelle caledonie et aussi la nouvelle zelande. Je ne connais pas tres bien le marche de l'emploi en nouvelle caledonie et ce que j'ai lu sur l'ossature bois et sur la couverture son assez interressant. Je suis en contrat CDI actuellement mais je peux partir rapidement. Mon probleme : trouver des contacts meme si je sais que beaucoup de choses se regle sur place.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
