Je m'appelle Valentin et j'ai 21 ans, je travailles actuellement au Crédit Mutuel depuis 3 ans (dont 2 en alternances), je suis titulaire d'un BTS Banque.
J'aurais voulu m'expatrier en Thaïlande pour y rejoindre mon amie (thaïlandaise), sachant que j'y suis déjà allé 2 fois et que tout m'attire dans ce pays.
J'aimerais connaitre vos avis ou votre vécu pour savoir s'il était possible de trouver un travail comme employé de banque dans un banque française (Société Générale, BNP...) ou Thaï, si oui dans le marchés des particuliers ou plutôt des professionnel?
Sinon, j'envisage de partir 6 mois en Angleterre, pour ensuite reprendre mes études et faire une licence, soit de "Tourisme internationale" ou "Commerce internationale". Laquelle m'apporterai le plus de chance afin de trouver un travail en Thaïlande?
Ou alors, un travail qui se rapprocherai le plus de mon cursus initiale...

je ne voudrai (en aucun cas )vous paraître décevant !, ...
Mais si vous voulez travailler en Thailande dans une banque , la seule possibilité c'est que votre banque mère vous y envoi aillant une filiale la bas, sinon oubliez , ...car cela fait partie des métiers interdit aux etrangers !.
l'astuce d'école de tourisme internationale ou du commerce internationale me parait plus astucieux déjà , car dans ce cas vous pourrez tenter un embauche dans un chaîne d'hôtels international (qui ne manquant pas par contre en Thailande !😄)...
Métiers de tourisme (et les ramifications ) sont en principe réservés (surtout !!) aux Thais (y qu'a voir la liste de métiers interdits aux etrangers !!)
Puis il y a probleme avec le work permis pas facile (voir impossible )à obtenir !?🤪.;à moins d'avoir une lettre d'embauche aussi dur à trouver (car aucun Thais n'embauche les etrangers ((ou c'est plus rare que les dinosaures ))c'est plutot le contraire qui se produit !)
la solution pourra venir des chaînes hôtelières internationales, ... qui acceptant (!?)de vous y embaucher en tant étrangers et ferons peut-être les papier nécessaires dans se sens aux près des autorités délivrant le permis de travail !
Bon courage !!, ...car à part d'investir (devenir son propre patron aux conditions souvent hasardeuses aussi )une belle somme en Thailande , les débouchés pour les etrangers "sont tres étroites" voir "inexistante" !.
la Thailande est un pays extrêmement protectionniste concernant l'emploi !...c'est un super country pour y vivre paisiblement en ayant déjà les moyens nécessaires pour n'y rien faire !...(fortune perso ou retraite confortable => c'est Ok !, ...et vous êtes le bien venu , ....sinon "dur....dur" , ....à part aussi pour les étudiants paisibles pendant leurs études ).....à part quelques occupations liés à votre "bien être" et dans un but "non lucratif" surtout et aussi .
La Thailande n'est pas tellement un pays pour y venir trouver son bonheur , réussite et l'épanouissement dans le travail sur place !...il y aussi le niveau de vie qui n'est pas comparable qui bloquent pas mal de choses !.
Si vous avez des relations dans les hautes sphères alors tout reste possible , ....à condition de ne pas être dessus par l'accueil en tant que travailleur etrangers et par votre "portefeuille" à la fin du mois !?.
Si vous décidez de vivre en Thailande il faut réorganiser dans votre tête bcp de choses et accepter des gros changements (culturels , matériels , émotionnels )!!.
cela se prépare dûment !.....faites d'autres voyages avant de vous y jeter dans la fausse aux dragons Thais 🤪

Contactez les entreprises en France qui ont une filière en Thaïlande, en Thaïlande qui ont une maison mère en France, cela ne vous coûte rien et c'est une démarche qui vous en apprendra beaucoup, la CCFT vous fournira les listes mais un anglais parfait vous sera indispensable.
Conseillé en placement financier essentiellement dirigé vers les Francophone est un poste à envisager mais il faut beaucoup d'expérience ou de temps pour l'acquérir car il y a déjà concurrence, à mon avis, dans le placement d'assurance aussi. C'est peut être une piste ...

Il est possible que travailler comme simple employer de banque est interdit, et il me semble aussi que parler Thai serais indispensable pour les clients....
Par contre travailler dans une banque comme trader, clearing system, gestion de portefeuille n'est pas du tout interdit!!!!

Je bosse dans la finance depuis 15 ans, à Bangkok lors d'un entretient il y avais des anglais, français et autres nationalités qui y travail.... Donc oui il est possible de travailler en Banque en Thaïlande...

Après tout dépend ce que tu appelle "gestionnaire de portefeuille". Parce que en France le bac +2 suffit pour travaillé comme Chargé de clientèle, CAD avoir des clients + faire des prêts immo mais il faut de l’expérience (environ 3/5 ans). Par contre si c'est Gestionnaire de patrimoine, alors là ce serait plutôt 10/12 ans d’expérience...
Une petite précision, il n'y a vraiment qu'en France que les diplômes sont privilégiés, ici nous sommes dans une gestion à l'anglo-saxonne alors certes les diplôme, c'est important, c'est tout de même une référence de votre apprentissage et de votre savoir théorique, mais l’expérience et le savoir-faire sont des notions tout aussi importantes, voir plus.
Cette précision est importante en fonction de l'entreprise auprès de laquelle vous postulez, si elle est Française ou pas ! Le "self made Man" est très apprécié ici car souvent beaucoup plus souple.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
