Voila toutes mes questions, alors pour faire simple, je vais les énumèrer (je compte partir entre 28/02/2010 et 10/03/2010 et rentrer durant l'été 2011 et avec un budget d'environ 5000 € tout compris) :
1. Comme énoncé dans le titre je vais en vacances en Nvelle Calédonie pour ensuite travailler en Australie. 1er probléme :
Aller retour France - NC : 1600 €
Aller retour NC - Australie : 400 €
Soit un total de 2000 € --> trés cher et je ne peux pas prendre mon billet retour un an à l'avance, et hors de question de prendre aller simple ou retour simple, c'est hors de prix!! et puis l'idéal pour moi serait de faire France - NC - Australie - France, mais les vols multi-destinations sont horriblement chers!!
Que me conseillez-vous? J'ai recherché sur plein de sites et je ne trouve pas de bonne solution!
2. A mon arrivée en Australie (mai 2010) je compte travailler sur place pendant un an, je n'ai pas encore d'idée sur la ville ou l'endroit à choisir pour une question de boulot, paysages, prix, logement... : des conseils??
3. J'ai un BTS en commerce international et un peu d'expérience (2 ans) je pars pour améliorer mon anglais qui n'est pas parfait (loin de là). y a-t'il du boulot dans cette branche et quel salaire puis-je espérer la bas?
4. Quel est le coût de la vie sur place par ville?
5. Mon copain qui part avec moi et qui a un autre budget est serveur (avec diplômes, qualifications et bonne expérience) il présente bien et parle anglais. Peut-il espérer trouver un job haut de gamme dans ce secteur (je préfère éviter macdo...) et quelles peuvent être ses prétentions salariales?
6. Est-il mieux de chercher le boulot et l'appartment un fois sur place ou avant de partir??
7. Si je veux rester 1 an de plus pourrais-je obtenir un second WHV sur place?

alors pour ce qui est du billet d'avion as tu regardé en prenant un france- australie a/r et ensuite un australie- nouvelle calédonie? tu peux trouver des billets a moins de 1200eur a/r pour l'australie avec un retour modifiable avec ou sans frais, valable 1 an et pour le billet par exemple Sydney Noumea en s'y prenant à l'avance pour 400eur ttc tu en as un!!!
je suis actuellement à sydney et il y a beaucoup d'offre en ce qui concerne les serveurs, barista expérimenté donc ton copain peut trouvé un job "facilement" mais la concurrence est rude!!
perso nous on a chercher l'appart et le boulot une fois sur place, mais sans vouloir te faire peur fait attention avec l'appart ne t'engage pas pour une durée trop longue on ne sait jamais si vous ne trouver pas de taf, que vous ne soyez pas bloquer pour bouger ensuite. vous pouvez tenter de prendre un appart en colocation, qui plus est c'est bon pour l'entrainement de l'anglais!!
pour renouveller ton visa il faudra faire au moins 3 mois de woofing, help exchange, sinon au bout d'un an c'est retour à la case France!
moi je suis à sydney et j'adore cette ville, j'ai un vrai coup de coeur. je ne trouve pas la vie plus cher qu'ailleurs, du moins pour l'alimentation par exemple apres au niveau loyer on avait un studio, certes bien équipé mais studio qd meme qui nous coutait presque 700eur le mois, pour un studio!! bon certes on était à bondi beach mais bon!
par contre en ce qui concerne le taf dans ta branche je ne sais pas! sorry
c'est bien ce que je pensais pour le vol, le mieux serait d'aller en nouvelle calédonie en milieu ou en fin de séjour... mais nous on veut y aller avant!
et si on veut passer par l'australie et qu'on loupe la "correspondance", ce ne sera pas pris en charge par l'assurance, donc il faut qu'on se laisse au moins 48h de marge et au prix des hotels... je sais pas trop si ca vaut le coup mais je vais quand même faire des simulations, qui ne tente rien n'a rien.
Dans les forums on parle bcp des avantages de la coloc mais je ne trouve pas ça pratique lorsqu'on est en couple! peux-tu me dire si tu as eu des difficultés à trouver ton studio? faut-il donner des garanties comme en france? et un loyer à 700€ est-il meublé ou pas? ah une dernière question... à ce prix là le studio est spacieux?

Regarde ou se trouve Bondi Beach tu comprendras pourquoi 700 euros😉 de location.Sinon je ne sais pas mais il est peut-être possible d'enchaîner sur un autre wvh en Nouvelle Zélande.

Tu sais l'Australie avant de partir on a une image dans la tête comme cette vidéo.Mais tu rentre vite dans le train train quotidien et l'Australie c'est plutôt calme...
Les français rencontré sur place, qu'est ce qu'ils ont fait?Y en a qu'est parti sur Melbourne, il m'a dit le soir c'était encore plus mort que Sydney après il a vadrouillé pour terminer sur Perth.L'autre français je lui avais fais découvrir la Thailande sur l'allé.Il était barman et ça l'a vite saoulait Sydney car pas ces potes.Au final d'Australie il est partie faire le toure de l'asie.(ile maurice bali etc)car il arrivé à chopper des billets pas cher.Un autre est partie en Tasmani, sur les îles fidji (courts séjours) et avec les packs pas trop cher qu'ils vendent dans les agences de voyages.Il a fait l'australie en bus tu remonte par la côte est et tu redescend par l'outback en t'arrêtant dans les lacs d'eau douce pour te baigner.Attention au croco mais il n'attaque pas l'homme.Certains ont été en Nouvelle Zélande voir sur le site.
Donc je te dirai prèparez vous à bouger car toute façon sur place, tu finis vite par t'emmerder.
J'ai du rentrer pour raisons perso je n'ai fais que Sydney au début t'en as plein les yeux.Et cette ville est génialement conçu.Le centre ville avec ces parcs, pas de bouchons mais au bout d'un moment ça m'a trop saoulé.(beaucoup de français)
Pour dire que de rester scotché sur une ville, je trouve ça dommage...Après je ne peux pas te conseillé je n'ai fais que Sydney (centre ville).La banlieue j'y suis passé ça m'a carrément rappelé une ville de province en plein été.Rues désertes et le dimanche j'ai vu un groupe de jeunes ados avec un caddis remplis de bouteille de bière qui alleint se défoncer...Pour dire les gens tellement qu'ils galèrent ils se saoulent...🤪
Cela serait à refaire, j'irai de ville en ville, dans un premier temps je ferai les circuits en bus.Ensuite je voyagerai autour de l'Australie tout en trouvant des jobs de 2 mois ou 1 mois.Mais bon en célibataire c'est pas pareil...
près chacun ses opinions! c'est un budget de faire le tour de l'Australie, achat de van, essence, le bus c'est contraignant, mais bon c'est une question de choix et de budget.
moi je suis au pair a sydney depuis 3mois, à defaut d'avoir trouver un job, je garde des petites je suis nourri logé blanchi et mon copain peut vivre avec moi dans un studio independant. nous sommes donc à sydney depuis 7 mois. ce qui nous a pas empecher de decouvrir d'autres villes (melbourne, adelaide, kangaroo island, jervis bay...)
chacun son choix, et je ne me lasse pas de sydney, je profite de chaque instant passé dans cette ville, j'adooooore.
sinon pour ce qui est de la coloc je suis d'accord c'est pas facil je pense en couple, à moins de trouver une coloc avec un autre couple peut etre. je n'est pas testé la colloc mais c'est une solution économique, et sympa pour langlais que tu es avec des anglophone!
à 700eur oui il etait meublé, et bien en plus, et à 25m de la mer! et un studio n'est jamais vraiment spacieux, il faisait dans les 20m²-25m² peut etre je ne sais plus, mais suffisant tu n'y passes pas ta journée.
