J'ai passé un an en Inde à Auroville avec un visa étudiant (j'étais encore étudiante à l'époque). Je suis rentrée le 8 février en France, pour faire une demande de visa de travail.
Ma demande a d'abord été refusée le 10 février, ils voulaient des papiers supplémentaires à VFS.
Le 16 février j'ai refait une demande qui a été acceptée, on m'a dit au comptoir VFS que j'aurai mon visa 9 jours après. Cela fait maintenant plus d'un mois que j'attends et je n'ai toujours pas de visa!
Apparemment, cela peut prendre 1 semaine comme plusieurs mois, mais il est hors de question que j'attende plusieurs mois mon visa! D'abord parce que mon passeport est bloqué, ensuite parce que je n'ai pas de travail ni de logement en France.
J'ai beau appeler VFS, il n'y a rien à faire. Je m'y suis rendue, puis je me suis rendue à Paris à l'ambassade de l'Inde avec mon directeur qui veut m'embaucher, où on a finalement accepté de nous "recevoir" (nous parler 5 min). Il fallait fournir un document supplémentaire (VFS ne m'en avait pas informé), qui n'etait pas demandé avant et qui ne correspond pas à ce type de visa (lettre du secrétaire général d'Auroville, seulement pour les visas d'entrée à Auroville).
La lettre après beaucoup de difficultés a été envoyé, mais là toujours silence radio.
Apparemment l'Inde a une politique de plus en plus restrictive pour l'obtention de visa. Est-ce que des gens sont dans mon cas? Est-ce que vous aussi vous avez connu des difficultés pour votre visa?
Je vais en Inde en tant que volontaire, est-ce qu'il y a un moyen d'obtenir un autre type de visa?
Je devais être depuis plus de 2 semaines en charge du bureau là-bas (le directeur est absent) et je ne sais pas comment sortir de cette situation...

essayez de ne pas vous inquieter, moi aussi je suis partie pour du volontariat depuis 2 mois, avec un dossier vraiment béton, et je n'ai reçu mon visa qu'au bout de 2 mois. Je ne pouvais même pas me déplacer à l'ambassade, juste appeler tous les jours en espérant que quelqu'un réponde, ce qui n'était pas toujours le cas. Un seul conseil : ne les harcelez pas de trop quand même, n'ayez pas l'air de demander une faveur. Vous partez travailler à l'oeil, alors ils ne sont pas idiots, ils vont vous donner le visa de travail. Simplement, par simple principe de réciprocité, comme la France n'est pas sympa avec les indiens, l'Inde n'est pas sympa avec les français. Ils prendront bien leur temps. Sur d'autres forum j'ai constaté des attentes de 3 mois ... On va a raconté n'importe quoi avec l'histoire des 9 jours !!!
Ca ne sert à rien de vous déplacer à nouveau. Attendez. Pas facile si vous n'avez pas de logement, mais pas le choix non plus.
Sinon en tant que volontaire à ma connaissance pas d'autre visa possible à ma connaissance ...
Excuse-moi, je t'ecris largement apres ton message mais je voulais savoir si finalement tu avais recu ton visa de travail et aussi, si apres le premier refus de VFS, tu avais du payer une deuxieme fois ou si tu as juste renvoye les papiers?
Je dois en faire un aussi et ca me fait un peu peur toute cette paperasse...

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
