Je pars m'installer à St Domingues dans 2 mois où je rejoins mon ami qui y est déjà installé.
Ne parlant pas encore l'Espagnol, je souhaiterai rencontrer des expatriés qui pourraient me parler un peu de leur installation dans ce pays et aussi faire des connaissances afin de ne pas me retrouver trop seule à mon arrivée.
J'ai aussi pour ambition de faire du bénévolat, mais là j'imagine qu'il faut que je crée un autre sujet.

En fait je laisse une situation confortable sur Lyon et veux être sûre de ne pas le regretter, même si c'est difficile de savoir par avance.
Ce qui me fait en fait le plus peur c'est de me retrouver à 2 moi qui ai l'habitude d'être très entourée, d'où le fait que je cherche des connaissances sur place.

merci pour la réponse; j'ai également commencé les cours d'espagnol sur le net à ça n'a pas l'air trop compliqué à priori mais c'est bien d'essayer différentes méthodes j'irai donc voir également celle dont vous parlez (perso je vais sur un site qui s'appele la passerelle que je trouve plutôt bien fait)
Concernant le bénévolat c'est avec plaisir car je ne pense pas travailler de suite et je préfère utiliser mon temps utilement.
J'ai vu qu'il y avait un grand orphelinat à St Domingues mais je n'ai pas approfondi.
C'est donc avec plaisir que je prendrai vos contacts.

Nous y allons pour le travail de mon conjoint nous devrions loger dans le quartier colonial à St Domingue. il y apas mal de projet immobilier en ce moment environnement developpement et j ai beaucoup entendu parlé de Haîti pr la souer d un médecin urgentiste de Toulouse qui a travaillé dans une ONG à Haîti.

alors je vais tenter de répondre à tes questions je bois de l'eau minérale en france, pour l'électricité, mon ami est installé depuis un mois et il n'y a que de rares coupures qui durent peu de temps, pour ce qui est de se faire arnaquer j'ai pas mal voyagé et quand on se fait arnaquer on s'en rend quand mm un peu compte perso jleur en veux pas c'est normal à mon avis puisqu'on représente la richesse ça fait partie du décor disons.

Le truc qu'il manque à tous les expatiés c la famille et amis (j'espere que t'en a pas trop...) ainsi que la bonne bouffe Européenne. Sinon le reste c génial et ça t'ouvre l'esprit, tu te rend compte de certaines choses qui font que tu aime encore + la vie... J'ai rien contre la rep dom, je trouve que c un bon pays mais je t'es juste dis les trucs que j'ai trouvé "usant".

La Fran, ce est tombé bien bas et déçoit bcp bcp de gens depuis ces dernieres années, les futures années seront tres difficile avec une remise en cause de tout le systeme, evidemment n'imaginez pas que ce pays est réformable, il va droit ds le mur et apres on réformera.
mon ami a eu une offre de travail là bas donc on a saisi loccas de plus il est bilingue en espagnol et semble setre tres bien adapté dapres ce kil men dit dc voilà

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
