Je projette de m'installer soit en Thaïlande soit au Vietnam
Je suis psychologue clinicien, je pense que ça va être difficile de trouver un job, mais je suis prête à m'investir.
Quels conseils auriez-vous à me donner?

Tout d'abord d'aller visiter les deux pays et de prevoir d'y sejourner quelques mois avant de faire un choix.
Ton metier suppose la communication je presume, donc sans parler la langue du pays choisi, cela risque d'etre tres difficile.

Je me pose plus de questions vis à vis de l'ouverture de ces pays aux étrangers dans le domaine de la santé.
Mais aussi de l'appréhension de la prise en charge psychologique occidentale par rapport à orientale.
Est-ce possible de se faire sa place?

Pour tout te dire, je compte petit à petit faire le tour du monde mais en restant chaque fois 2 ou 3 ans dans chaque pays.
J'aimerais ainsi commencer par l'un de ces trois pays.
En me projettant dans le plus de pays j'aurais plus de chances.

Pour repondre judicieusement a ta question, il faut consulter Abalone qui connait mieux le sujet que moi.
Je sais qu'il y a un hopital francais a Saigon et qu'a Hue, au moins un medecin francophone oeuvre a l'hopital. Quant a savoir de quelle maniere ils sont acceptes et par quel biais ils sont arrives la, je ne peux te dire, je n'en ai pas la moindre idee.
Il est vrai qu'il manque d'un bon medecin francophone dans les grandes villes touristiques et qu'il serait le bienvenu, car j'apprehende le jour ou il m'arrivera quelque chose. Non pas que je doute de la qualite des soins prodigues dans les hopitaux, mais le probleme de communication est evident. A moins d'avoir un interprete qui manie parfaitement le francais (les termes medicaux sont trop techniques pour le commun des mortels), je pense que j'aurai bien du mal a expliquer ce que j'ai et mes symptomes. Il me faudra donc aller a Saigon a l'hopital francais, ce qui n'est pas mon premier choix.
Quant a la prise en charge psychologique, j'avoue n'en avoir jamais entendu parler, mais je ne me suis pas specialement penchee sur la question. En effet, ici, la priorite est de soigner le corps car les moyens financiers de la plupart sont tres limites, pas d'argent a depenser pour soigner l'esprit. De plus, j'ai pu constater que les Vietnamiens ne s'ouvrent pas facilement de leurs problemes personnels. Ce sont des gens tres secrets qui gardent leurs soucis pour eux ou en discutent parfois entre amis. Je ne voudrais pas dire de betise par manque de connaissance, mais je ne pense pas, a premiere vue, que les psychologues soient legion.
Par contre, si tu as une formation medicale (medecin, infirmiere, kine), tu devrais pouvoir trouver quelque chose. L'ideal etant malgre tout de venir avec l'aval d'une organisation etrangere qui pourra t'aider a t'integrer.
La psychologie du thaïlandais moyen est tellement différente de ce qu'on connaît en Europe !

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
